The relationship between humans and animals has either been very good or very bad depending on the circumstances. With animals kept as pets, such as cats and dogs, the relationship has been a very good one. With animals such as rats, it's always been a catious one, with the rats trying to survive and humans trying to get rid of them. With animals such as lions and bears, it's been one of neutral solitude. Humans leave them alone, they leave humans alone. However, something has changed, animals of every species are acting strangely and attacking any and all humans. Cats, dogs, bears, zebras, hippos, you name it. If it ain't human it's attacking the humans. The governments tried to keep it silent at first, so they can keep the peace in their respective countries, however now things have gotten out of hand and everybody knows. They have to find out why the animals are attacking humans, try to fix the problem and restore the balance, and, most importantly, SURVIVE!!!

1.no godmodding. that's just annoying
2.fighting is allowed and expected (we are trying to survive here after all)
3.romance is allowed. if it gets too hot and heavy take it to the pms or timeskip
4.please act like you're writing a book. use "this" for speech, not *this* for actions
5.no killing off other characters without permission from both me and the person in charge of that character
6.please try to post at least once every three days or so. If you know you'll be gone longer than that let us know. we hate it when our fellow rpers fall off the face of the planet.
7.if you join in the middle of the rp I will gladly give you a summary of what has happened up to that point if you wish. However it will be up to you to find a way to insert your character into the story

bio: Jake was out overseas when the first attacks were reported. He didn't think anything of it. Animal attacks happened often enough. They were usually spread out around the globe with a couple of weeks between them. However, the attacks seemed to be happening much more frequently than they should. By the time he finally went home it seemed like there was at least one attack every hour. He couldn't believe that it wasn't on the news, he heard about these attacks from several friends he had whose jobs it was to find out about things like this. Then he was given a special mission by the President of the United States himself, to find and annihalate any and all hostile animals and breeding grounds they may have. The mission was a complete and utter failure. He has since retired from the military and simply tries to stay alive long enough to see the end of this conflict.

bio: Attanya was once a police officer. She had done so because that meant she could keep her younger sister safe. When her town was one of the first attacks, Attanya fought her hardest when she and her sister were cornered by a couple of animals. She lost her job that day, well quit, as well as she lost part of the last of her family. She still talks to a stuffed bear that her sister carried around. Her sister is still alive, yes, but she is quiet. Having lost any will to talk when one of her arms was taken off, Attanya's sister stays to the background. Only talking when Attanya talks to her.
