Approximate Age: 14-18

Stage 2 - These are the young adults of Tendaji. These characters have obtained a specific class and are able to breed and battle.
Approximate Age: 18-22

Stage 3 - These are class professionals. Characters are able to purchase stronger items, weapons, and abilities and can continue to breed.
Approximate Age: 22-26

Stage 4 - These are the class specialists of Tendaji, having chosen their specific skills. They can still breed, and may continue to battle, if they wish.

Flowers are attached to their Mother Tree and cannot be moved! The mother(s) will be expected to stay with their flower or return for their flower when it is to open.

Pregnant Mommy - Your character is going to have a baby! You may continue to RP as normal, though travel is advised against for the health of the baby. In a few weeks, your character will return to normal.

Growth Requirement Rules and Restrictions
(Updated 03.09.17)

Growth Requirement Rules

General
|| Requirements used for one stage cannot be used for another later stage. This also includes all RPs, solos, and battles that were not used as requirements. They cannot be used for a later stage as it is considered a new chapter in that character's life.
|| Owners may only submit one character for growth at a time. Once that character's growth has been approved, they must wait three weeks before submitting a new request for another character. (This gives our artists time to work on art before the next growth rolls through.) This is not to be confused with a character's timer to grow (see bullet below).
|| A character's timer for their next growth does not begin until they receive their art for that stage. This is not to be confused with an owner's timer to submit for a different character's growth (see bullet above).

RPs
|| RPs consisting of two to three characters will have a 10 post minimum requirement per character to count for growth.
|| RPs consisting of more than three characters will have a 7 post minimum (also per character).
|| RPs cannot be added together to create one growth req (ex: two 5 post RPs will not equal a growth requirement)
|| RPs consisting of double the posts can count for 2 Rps (and triple can count for 3, etc.)
|| Owners cannot RP more than one character combined in one post even if they are related or otherwise (ie: Aminah and Sathe cannot have one block of text to count for both of them. Aminah's post should be clearly labeled as her post, and Sathe's should be clearly labeled as her post.)
Ok
Aminah's Post
Aminah walked up to her sister and smiled. "How're you today?" [post continues]
Sathe's Post
Sathe replied to her sister "I'm sad." [post continues]

Not Ok
Aminah walked up to her sister, "How're you today?" Sathe replied. "I'm sad." Aminah looked to her sister... [post continues combined]

Journal Entries/Solos
|| Journal entries (more commonly known as solos) cannot include any other playable characters, even if owned by the same owner. (That is considered an RP)
|| There is a minimum word count of 300 words for a Solo/Journal Entry to be counted towards your growth requirements.
|| Journal entries longer than 300 can also be combined with others to be used as multiple points toward growth. (ex: a 500 word solo and a 400 word solo can be combined for 3 growth points)
|| Class affinity journal entries are solos that focus on how or why a character is picking their class. They are required for the prentice stage.
|| Class affinity journal entries must be at least 900 words. This solo can be used toward the points needed for growth (so this solo is worth 3 or more points).
|| Riders and Guardians need to have a mount picking solo during stage 2. This solo must be at least 600 words and can be used towards growth (so this solo is worth 2 or more points).

Beast Battles and PvP Battles
|| EXP growth points include battles and beast battles.
|| Battlers must have at least half of their battle reqs from battling, and beast tamers must have at least half from beast battling.
|| Battlers and Beast Tamers cannot use crafting solos to fill their EXP growth points.

Crafting Solos
|| Blacksmiths are required to complete the number of crafting solos that are written in their requirements and cannot swap points. That is the price they pay for being able to do what they do.
|| All other non-battle classes can choose to replace some of their growth points with crafting solos. The exact amount allowed per stage is listed in the growth requirements!
|| Blacksmiths cannot use battling or beast battling to fill their EXP growth points.

Growth Solos
|| Growth solos are solos to be completed after all other requirements are met. It is the last thing to do before submitting for growth.
|| Growth solos cannot be used toward the normal RP requirements for growth. They are a separate req in itself. This means that if the stage requires 25 RP req points and a growth solo, the growth solo cannot be part of the 25 points.
|| Solos must be at least 1,000 words long.
|| Solos must develop the character in some way.
|| Solos should conclude with a small snippet/blurb of what the owner was trying to accomplish plot/growth wise.
  • Ex: "The conflict with the extremists is making life difficult for a lot of people in Tendaji and because of Aminah's mixed children I wanted her to experience being shunned by what was until recently her home town."

|| Solos should be posted in the characters journal and linked in their growth form.

How to Obtain Growth Points

In Tendaji characters are able to build to growth by using points accumulated through activity. Everything has their own amount of points to be earned through completion:

RP Growth Points
|| 300 word solo = 1 point
|| 10 post RP = 5 points
|| 7 posts in meta = 5 points

EXP Growth Points
|| 1 crafting solo = 1 point
|| 1 beast battle = 1 point
|| 1 battle = 2 points

|| Growth points are split into two pools, the RP pool and the EXP pool.
|| Battle classes and the Blacksmith class have requirements from both pools specified in their stage.
|| Non-battle classes only have RP pool requirements.

Becoming Legendary

The final stage in Tendaji is the Legendary stage. While your character is not physically immortal, the stories of their travels and deeds in the world will be passed down for generations.

Something strange happens during the shift to the legendary stage. Not everyone can accomplish this, and there are tales that it is because those who are chosen as legends are touched by the Gods themselves. Whether this is true or not is hard to say, but it is undeniable that something physically happens to those who accomplish this feat.

Legendary Quests

Legendary quests are different than those of the regular quests. Be prepared for an ultimate quest that requires multiple prompts and unveils some of the secrets of Tendaji. More than that… we cannot say.

Legendary's Physical Changes

Legends seem to have been touched by the Gods themselves, or so they say, and their physical bodies have changed as well. It seems that the different races have different attributes.

Owners are allowed to choose one attribute from their race.
Hybrids are allowed to choose one attribute from one of their races.
These attributes are customizable, some more so than others. Some are able to edit placement, some have a customizable appearance, some are fully customizable.

Alkidike
|| Marking of Aisha - A marking of a specific pattern that manifests on the Alkidike's skin. Placement and size can be edited.
|| Spines - These thorny-looking skin colored spines grow from the Alkidike's body. Placement and size can be edited.
|| Vines - Vines and plant growth become a part of the Alkidike's hair, mixing together with the dreads.
|| Plant or Bug Inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Shifter
|| Glowing Iridescent Crystals - The crystals on the Shifters change color to a glowing iridescence. Owners can choose from a light coloring or a dark coloring (to stand out on light shifter skin, or blend into dark shifter skin)
|| "Starry" Skin - The skin of the shifter becomes two tones, the lighter skinned shifters take on a dark night sky speckling, the dark shifters take on a light star speckling. Placement can vary.
|| Touch of Serin - Like the Aisha mark, but for shifters. It's as if the moon Goddess Serin has reached down and touched the earthling herself.
|| Celestial Inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Leaf
|| Foliage Additions - The leaf earthlings seemed to have been changed by the earth itself and grow additions of foliage or fungi on their bodies.
|| Clawed Hands - The hands of the leaf earthling seem to grow slightly longer, adding pointed nails that resemble claws.
|| Slit Pupils - The pupils become narrow and sharp, intensifying their coloring.
|| Forest Animal Inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Wind
|| Red Crystals - The essence of the Suruhama has changed the wind earthling's crystals to a fiery red.
|| Shimmering Skin Spots - Patches of the wind earthling's skin seems to shimmer with the touch of air. Placement is customizable.
|| Feathers - The wind earthlings seem to become lighter than air and sprout feathers from scattered parts of their bodies like eyebrows, hair, elbow. Placement is customizable.
|| Bird Inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Ice
|| Darker Frostbite - The extremities of the ice earthling have seemed to go dark, fading upward with varying patterns. Placement and fading pattern customizable.
|| Lighter Frostbite - The extremities of the ice earthling have seemed to go stark white like the fresh snow, fading upward with varying patterns. Placement and fading pattern customizable.
|| Ice Crystals - The once dark crystals of the ice earthlings seems to erupt into never-melting ice shards.
|| Snow or Winter Inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Fire
|| Scaled Texture - The fire earthlings seem to take on the reptilian nature of the desert and patches of scales grow from their body.
|| Charred Texture - Like the dry desert they grew from, their skin cracks and chars in patches.
|| Small Horns - The fire earthlings seem to have sprouted small reptilian horns. Placement is customizable, size does not grow larger than 4".
|| Reptile Inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Water
|| Webbing - Like the aquatic animals they grew up around, they have developed webbing.
|| Vibrant Markings - The water earthlings seemed to have developed markings on their bodies in bright and vibrant colors. Coloring and style customizable.
|| Extended Ears - The ears of the water earthling have shifted to something more, something elaborate and better suited to their aquatic ancestry.
|| Fish Inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Yaeli
|| Lurin's Blessing - A glowing silver marking of a specific life-inspired pattern that is believed to be a great blessing.
|| Dafiel's Protection - A glowing black marking of a specific death-inspired pattern that is believed to be a sign of divine protection.
|| Colored Glow - The white eye glow of the Yaeli becomes permanent and a color. Color is customizable. (This is also the only way a Yaeli can get back their glow after it fades.)
|| Toxic or Pollutant inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Elaria
|| Marking of Elzira - A marking of a specific pattern that manifests on the Elaria's skin. Placement and size can be edited.
|| Spikes - These thorny-looking skin colored spines grow from the Elaria's body and are thinner than the Alkidike's Spines. Placement and size can be edited.
|| Extra Antennae - The Elaria seem to have grown additional antennae in their hair, mixing together with the dreads.
|| Plant or Bug inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Lightning
|| Gradient Crystals - The once solid crystals take on a two tone color of green and yellow.
|| Lightning Struck - A marking of a specific pattern and color that expands out of the Earthling's crystals.
|| Technology Touch - The extremities of the Lightning Earthling gain markings of a specific pattern and color that extends up from their fingers and toes.
|| Storm inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Geian
|| Marking Expansion - The Geian's markings extend well beyond the typical range, covering their entire body.
|| Pale Green Markings - The Geian's markings take on a soft green hue, replacing the original light brown coloring.
|| Mark of the Earth - The Geian's markings shift into new shapes, still in the same location but appearing more plant-like.
|| Earth or Floral inspired Attribute - Fully customizable, this will add an inspired attribute of the owner's choosing (with approval from staff).

Any
|| Iridescent Eyes - It seems that all races of Tendaji have the option for iridescent eyes.

Once a character is ready to grow to the Legendary stage, they should fill out their form as usual, and Suhuba will contact the owner and begin to decide what traits and the specific look they would like for their legendaries. All legendaries are customizable and each change and addition is up to the owner.
