Personality: Emelie remains at a distance when around others unless she is sure of their own personalities. Her mind is often quick and calculating, but she is much less vocal upon first meeting someone. Towards pokemon her signals seem odd and confusing to outsiders; to her pokemon however they learn to love or hate their trainer. Either way, they still serve her because she is the only one which cares for them.
Bio Born to a mother which is a free spirit and a father that left a few years later to continue training his dream team... Emelie has never been quite a conventional child. Times were rough; her family rather poor now and again but never unhappy. They always had one another and a few pokemon here and there. Her mother loved plants and raising them to help create medicines and products for pokemon development. To reflect this she was, not surprisingly, often surrounded by plant type pokemon.
Despite it all, the woman knew she was never ready for a child. Opting to contact Emelie's paternal grandparents of their granddaughter she said goodbye. The elderly couple were strict; they wanted nothing short of perfection for their old family name. Some people were famous because they were new blood and rich that way, but these were not. Emelie was taken to their home in Blackthorn City two years before being enrolled in the academy. Over that short period of time she was taught she would be the only recognized heir of the family... to never shame their name (which she would be allowed to take once she had made a reputation as a trainer on her own)... and to always be the best.
No one knows how deep this elderly couple's pockets go, but they do know that after their wayward son disappeared during his training another failure will not be tolerated. These expectations ride on the shoulders of the young and still optimistic girl.

Personality: Mike shows a nice nature all the time, quite shy when it comes to meet new people. Mike's quite a pacifist, even in his fights, using moves that cripple his opponents rather that beat them by sheer force.
Bio: Mike was raised by his uncle and aunt after his parent's dead. He doesn't feel down though, saying that he believes his uncle and aunt are his father and mother. He shows a high intelligence at early age and loved the pokemon that were in his grandfather's ranch, which visits quite often.
Mike soon starts training with his grandfather pokemons, studying their attacks, strong points and trying to eliminates their weaknesses. That was his unique way to study. The experience he got together with his innate intellect really gave him the upper hand in the test to enter the academy.

Personality: Daisuke is a fun loving boy treasuring each of his pokemon with all his heart. He loves battling others and gaining more and more experience with his pokemon. However he does know that there is a time and place for everything. Daisuke is also very intelligent for his age.
Bio Daisuke grew up in the region of Kanto. Specifically Cerulean city . His life was pretty normal not to much adventure. His mother and father were skilled gym leaders who would show Daisuke their pokemon when not in battles. He loved Pokemon with all his heart. It was then that his parents heard of the Pokemon Academy. With high hopes for Daisuke, they sent their small child off to join the Academy.
The trip was not easy however. On the way to the Academy, a group of Pokemon thieves tried to take Daisuke's stuff. He ran as fast he could realizing that he was no longer in the protection of his family any longer. Through Daisuke's blind running, he somehow wound up inside of the mountains. The sun was now going down. For a little boy inside of the mountains did not make his day any better. When Daisuke had almost fallen asleep, he heard rattling throughout the bushes. It was dark, and he could not see. Daisuke simply figured that he was not going to make it to the Academy at all. But he could no longer keep his eyes open. Daisuke slowly drifted off to sleep on his bag. Unknown to him, was that many pokemon huddled around him to keep him warm. When it was Daybreak, Daisuke woke up to many pokemon. Instead of screaming, he simply patted a few of their heads before running out of the forest back in the direction of the Academy.
In only a few hours, he had finally reached the Academy and hopes to have a better time than outside of the Academy.

Once it was time for them to part, Mia asked her to join her team, offering to keep her nugget safe; it was too tempting for the Numel to resist; she agreed to join. After he knocked her Numel out, and dealt some pretty hefty damage to her Zangoose, she threw the pokeball and captured him. Personality: She is the leader type, the kind of person who takes charge in times of need to bring peace out of chaos. She has a really short temper, always getting into fights. She stands up for what she believes in, and isn't afraid of getting in trouble for it. Shes a dare-devil, nick-named 'Danger' by her parents. But if you really break through her protective shell, she's caring and easy to confide in. She's tough, and doesn't take no for an answer.
Bio: Max was born and raised in Goldenrod with a family of her mother, father, six older adopted brothers, and a younger brother. It was tough, living with all of her older brothers.
