Personality:Smart mouthed, and sarcastic. Trace seems like the loner type at first glance, keeping quiet unless he’s taken a specific interest in what someone is saying. He often seems to prefer the company of Pokémon to people, and in fact he does. Though he generally stays calm and quiet, he has a bit of a temper. He takes battles seriously, especially when the lives of his companions, Pokémon or otherwise, are on the line.
Bio From Alto Mare, the city of water, Trace hails more directly from a family of musicians. In there family legends it is said, the greatest musicians in their family played so beautifully, that pokemon were drawn to them. Of course no one really believes this anymore, but it often intrigues the minds of many. Trace has been practicing to play the flute since the day he was able to play one. Sufficient to say he is masterful at playing it; however Trace has always wanted more out of his life then to be a simple musician. One day he received a letter from the academy, inviting him to attempt the entrance exam. Trace saw this as his one true chance of pulling away from the rest of his family. To do something more then his forefathers.

Formerly a terror of the Peninsula, the ghost/dark type had battled with two other Treecko students Cassey and Akiko. After a fierce battle with Trace's Raikou, the pokemon was paralyzed and caught.

Bio: During his adventure in the Aromatherapy Forest, Trace came across the forests Shrine. His muse invigorated by the structure, Trace played a melody which sailed upon the wind. In response to the musics call at the shrine, Celebi, the guardian of the forest appeared before the boy. For the gift of his music, the Celebi told the boy it would grant one request, so long as it was in its ability to.
The boy had only a single request, to meet the western wind, Raikou. He did not wish to battle it, nor attempt to tame that which should not be tamed, simply to meet the Legendary in all its glory.
Happy with the boys words, the Celebi called for the Raikou pup that had come into its care recently. The pup had enjoyed Trace's song, but he would not follow the boy without proof of his strength.
After a fierce battle with Thorn, the pup was the victor; but the Grovyle's first blow had struck well. With that, Zephyr chose to travel with Trace of his own will; and so, the pairings adventures began from that point.

As one enters passed the fence at the borders of these lands, the question of why such a place would be dubbed the Requiem Plains comes to mind. With lush green grass, and a dazzling sun high overhead, the endless fields give off the impression of a warm and happy place.
As the sun falls below the horizon however, and the bright full moon casts it glow onto the lands, the area seems to change. The winds take an ominous turn as a dark shadow is cast over the shrine at the northern edge. The plants hanging limp and frail in the darkness of the night, a quiet, mournful picture is painted before your eyes.
Yet, there is a certain peace in the bitter requiem of these lands. One that can truly be appreciated by an artist of any sort.

At the northern edge of the Requiem plains stands a small shrine, housed within a temple like building barely larger then a hut. At the center of the temple, stands the shrine itself, an ornate stone carved piece with an alter and burning candles with a flickering blue flame.
On either side of the shrine, against the walls of the temple are unused tomb stones, set up so the dead may have a proper burial at this place.
At the back resides a curious thing, a trap door inlaid in the temple floor. Beneath this small door resides a set of old, creaky stairs leading to a small cellar beneath the shrine. It is here that one would find bright, new shelves for the storage of pokeballs and items; a deep contrast to the temple above.
Off to one side sits a PC connected to an odd looking device; presumably for the transport of pokemon over a long distance.
All in all, the Requiem Plains stand as an odd place; though fitting of their master.

Bio: During Trace's trip to Forte Peninsula, the boy encountered a wandering Misdreavus after defeating a powerful Nidoking. The Nidoking had slain the pokemon's trainer, and thus held a great amount of thanks towards Trace for doing what she could not. Upon receiving the offer to go with him, Shir gladly accepted; however the pair ran in to a slight snag. Shir still officially belonged to the now dead Roy, and she had not kept track of her balls location. Several battles, three earthquakes and a trip down a waterfall later, Professor Scryer appeared ball in hand.
Roy's body had been found and retrieved earlier by another student, Shir's ball along with it.
After receiving and re-registering the ball, Shir became his to keep, and a new partner to his team.

SPECIAL STATUS: 3 LEGGED - Unless corrected, this pokemon can only have up to three quarters its full health and speed.
Bio: At the end of the First Blood Tournament, Trace received a feeling he couldn't explain. Dealing with an itch he just couldn't scratch, the boy bolted to the PokePound. It was there he found an Umbreon, Coal, locked away within one of the cages. Without hesitation the boy paid the fee, and released Thor for battle. Upon the Umbreon's own released, it was revealed Coal had an injury across his right eye, and no right back leg. The battle began and ended in a single powerful blow, sending the Umbreon sailing into a set of cages. Several pokemon escaping in the process. The battle over, Coal joined the ranks of Trace's pokemon, and with him came a Ticket to rid of the Iron Giant. One raised beneath stories of wonder, and tales of legend, the boy was not one to believe in coincidences...and so the next step on his path had been decided.

Not before testing if Trace was a worthy trainer though.

After telling the small boy the events he had missed, Ellis asked Trace to take Aella with him because his parents didn't want him battling anymore, and the Swablu though small, was a fighter. Trace accepted, giving Ellis Odin (An elderly Rhyhorn and the first pokemon Trace ever caught) in return. After parting with the boy, Trace played a song in Odin's honor. He'd miss the old Rhyhorn.
Ability: Natural Cure - Status problems are healed upon switch out.

Acrid, smoke filled air burns ones lungs as they journey down into the crater, aided by a small lift. The heat is smothering, the land covered with jagged outcrops of rock and debris; as if some titanic struggle took place here long ago. An overpowering stench assails the nostrils as you head in deeper...brimstone has formed in great batches around scattered pools of magma where the planet's crust has been breached.
All about you ruin and chaos seem to reign...
...But, on the far north side stands the crater's single miracle...a volcanic spring, constantly boiling water to the surface. Though hot, the water is fresh and pure. All around it grows the lands lone plant life; a selection of lush ferns.

To the far side of the spring, stands a single run down shack made entirely of thick steel; scorch marks and dents splattering the surface. Within stands a bulky old PC, clearly built to withstand the intense heat of the area. Both walls to either side of it are laden with shelves, small depressions in the surface of each making their intended burden clear.
In the corner stands the loan oddity...or perhaps necessity...a single, small, fire extinguisher.
Rondo Crater stands in all, a harsh, untamed place; but for some, it is the ideal place to run wild, and free.

Bio: Obtained as an egg, Ember was part of Trace's reward for a mission performed in the Aromatherapy Forest. The egg had originally belonged to the cook of the Oran Wood Grill, but was put in as an added bonus simply because it was unwanted.
The egg then hatched within the Amythist Tunnel's of Forte Peninsula after several earthquakes. After playing a melody much like with Flute, Trace dubbed the Growlithe "Ember".

Bio: Found in the Charmander Territory known as Giga Impact Cove, Trace ventured into the area hoping to find some decent opponents to train against before the First Blood Tournament. He encountered Thor after easily defeating a Phanpy and Elekid in a Double Battle.
After defeating the Donphan, the boy was confronted by a Charmander Student named Merigold, an Ex-Tutor for her class.
After reviving the Donphan, and offering it up as part of a wager, Trace agreed to battle her. Confronted by two pokemon stronger then his own, Trace lead Merigold back to his land to even the playing field. After a bit of disgruntled thoughts, Thor battled along with Zephyr, and attained victory after a hard fought battle.

Green. The first thing to great ones eyes; be it the lush grass, or the leaves and needles of the trees. Green as far as you can see. The wind gently tousles the grass, like a parent touching the head of a child. Oak, Maple, Ash, and Elm dot the initial landscape, solemn guardians of the land.
As you venture further, the woods grow thicker. The scent of pine and spruce begin to greet your nostrils. Various fruit bearing trees too meet your gaze, and although most cannot be consumed by humans, the bounty of nature truly paints a picture of paradise for pokemon.
A sound reaches your ears. Lower then a whisper at first, but as the wind blows through the canopy, you can tell how this place earned its name. Needles whistles, and each leaf seems to play a note all its own, creating a serene melody throughout the grove.

Deeper still, at the very center of the forest, stands a grand oak, taller and broader then all those around it. The moss and blooms at its trunk seemed to glow with a radiance all their own. Life seems to thrive in the presence of this forest giant.
Truly, this, more so then any other, is the guardian of the Melody Woods.
Yet still, one things stands out of place about the tree. At its center, shielded by the oak's massive roots, stands a small PC. Arceaus knows where it drawn its power...and on either side of it, sits a pair of roughly carved stone shelves; clearly meant for the storage of pokeballs.
The woods are filled with many natural wonders, all with the power to calm the heart. Truly, this is a place where one can feel at peace.

Bio: Trace encountered Briar in the Aromatherapy Forest after a little adventure in log rolling. Petals torn off, and badly beaten by a Breloom, the Roselia was barely hanging on. After a fierce battle with the Breloom, and a new addition to his list of fatalities, Trace chose to capture the oddly coloured Roselia so it could receive the proper medical treatment it needed. Since that day, Briar has become fiercely loyal to Trace, devoting himself to the trainer who saved his life.

Bio: Thistle was born from an egg stolen by Trace from the nests in the Amethyst Caverns. It is only now that he understands why a Bellossom had attacked him immediately after then theft. The small Oddish hatched that the most chaotic at times, causing Trace's Barrier to falter, and for the boy to be knocked flat on his back by a blow from Professor Rose of the Charmander Class.

Personality: She is extremely selfish, rigid, and can be quite mean to people she deems she doesn't like. Her personality is the type in which, she will walk away from injustice and pretend that nothing has happen. If it doesn't involve her, she doesn't get involved.
Bio
Raine is a girl from the city whom test high enough in school to be sent to the program ...against both her and her parent's wishes. Though, it was a big celebration for the city, because, they receives special donations for her going to the academy, and will receive further if she successes. The fact that she might be returned home was a goal of hers, until it was explained what would happen if she returns home a failure.
Considering that, she had decided to make the best of it. At least for now anyway.

Story Bio: Mission, to retrieve research information for Professor Adrian from ...Alamos town. Raine has already left for the town, and she traveled through the sewer to try and get to her destination. A plan that was successful or sort of, as she found herself in a cage with her Buizel missing, and the same grunt that had blocked her path way into the sewer trying to kill her. After a exhausting fight, the girl manages to escape both the cage and the grunt that imprisons her and have reached the area of her goal. Now, she has only to find her missing pokemon as well as Professor Roosevelt's research as well.
Mudkip Ability: Mudkip Pendant]
[During all Non-Combat posts the Pendant will slowly heal one of the trainer's pokemon for 1/8 there maximum health. Fainted pokemon will be revived after one Non-Combat post.]
[Stage 1: Can only heal the Starter. Stops healing once starter has recovered 1/2 it's maximum health. ]
[Currently this means Darkfang will regain 3 HP during each of your non-combat posts, stopping after he has regained a maximum of 11 HP. These numbers will adjust every-time he levels up. ]

Raine now has another half ghost in her party, and with that naughty disposition, it's becoming clear that the more control that Raine wants ...the less it seemed she would be able to get out of her pokemon.

A pokemon changed somehow by Professor Adrian, instead of the light orange he is more of a orange red, with red eyes and a black inner tub around his neck instead of the normal color of the Buziel. Only time will tell what sort of pokemon he will become, but Raine has plans to raise him with care. He is contained in a pokeball that is black with a red lining to it.

Personality:A young man who has been scarred by society and has no sympathy for anyone. Every time he meets a new person that person would be met with hostility and cold words that would convince anyone that would mean for everyone who comes in contact to should just back off. Bio: As a small child, Terrence had no idea who his original parents were. Pretty much all he knew was that his parents had supposedly been rebels in the fight of the Rocket Rebellion and were one of the head leaders of the group. When the rebellion started to signs of failing, they placed Terrence into an orphanage and with no regards to how he would be treated , left him there and went out to a mysterious place to hide out throughout the fall of the rebellion. No one currently knows if they are currently alive, but there have been rumors that there are some people rebellion leaders living on an uncharted island 15 miles off of the coast of the Island of Northern Fire in the Victory Islands. As he would start to grow up, Terrence would see only hostility and anger towards him, and he would never grow up knowing why. He spent pretty much his entire life in that orphanage and would never know the love like most kids would his age. On his 12th birthday, though, he would be surprised by a couple of very wealthy adults that were interested in him and wanted him to come with them to their estate in the Hoenn region. On his 13th birthday, pretty much nothing had changed since his adoption, as he saw his parents only 3 times a year, and as he was "celebrating", his parents would walk in and have a special gift for him. Inside was a Dratini, his first pokemon, and he would take him in pride and happiness for the first time in his entire life. 5 Minutes after he received Dratini His parents told him to pack up and send him off to Akumu Academy to be apart of the ruthless Charmander Class and to gain a large amount of power for himself

Bio Solo is a child of the Miomoko clan. A clan that is well known for their ability to communicate and partner up with pokemon without the usage of a pokeball or a a stylus. Though many passes it off as simply being his aggressive nature.
Though, he is quite skilled with pokemon, his ability to get along with other people is questionable at best.

Bio Pop is an Absol captured during the climb up the Mezo mountain. Though his capture wasn't as easy one as Solo literally had to break a leg to get him ...as the pokemon was maim horribly by Solo's hunter knife, and later had a leg removed. Now three legged, it is in the plans to have the limb replaced with a prosethic. With this type of a beginning, it's not hard to see why the trainer and pokemon don't get along, but, will it always remain that way is to be seen only with time.

Bio This pokemon was captured in the Iron Forest. A Kangaskhan that was in exile from it's own kind, and had somehow mistaken Munchlax for it's own baby. Solo saw a lot of himself in this pokemon, and thus, decided that even after he managed to get Munchlax back to capture her. THough, he has no plans of keeping her on the team ...really only time will tell if he does or not.

Her past beyond that, is unknown, other than the fact that her pervious name was not flattering at all. Alto actually gave her a new name during the battle.

Personality: Robert normally stays calm durring most battles. Sometimes, though, once his Bulbasaur has sustained alot of damage, he loses his cool.
Bio Robert was born in Pilot Town, where he began the, for the most part, journey of a life time. When he was younger he hung around the trainers that lived on that island and inside the poke'mon center. He got used to all types of poke'mon and thier abilites and moods. He had gotten used to all types of battle combinations and the differences in the attack styles of many trainers and poke'mon. Finally, after thirteen years of his life, Robert was finally granted admission into a poke'mon academy. Akumu Academy granted his addmisson and he left in a hurry.

The first was when he recieved it and the second was when he decided that his first poke'mon would, for the most part, live outside of it's poke'ball. Personality: Calm cool and collected, she tends to come off as analytical, when in reality, she's just a rather mellow person. She tends to not get worked up over every little thing, and if you happen to get close enough to her, she's a great and reliable friend, even if she doesn't always act it.
Bio Gwen never had a set home, as her father worked in multiple factories, and she was always forced to move with him. finally, she grew tired of it, and moved to her mother's house in Fuchsia, which she stayed in for a grand total of a year, before being scouted by Akumu. She decided to go for it, and left her mother and home behind for the chance at new experiences.
And boy did they come. Within the first few minutes of arrival, Gwen met an interesting person: What was to be her teacher and mentor, and someone she immediately clashed with from the start. After a brutal defeat by the Professor and his Ariados, Chiz and Gwen were sent on a capture mission to Crescent Moon island.
While there, Gwen added three new pokemon to her team, and she also managed to find an egg. Talk about an interesting first day!

After a nasty run in with a Garchomp, Arvit and Gwen had a chance to better connect, and it was because of Arvit that Gwen caught her third pokemon.
