... Yugen watched as Karuto shrugged off the yeti's capture and blasted through the snow giant with pure, unadulterated strength. Ah ha... perhaps I've underestimated you. Even if you let yourself fall to intellectual snares, your strength makes up for it. he thought as he studied the taijutsu practitioner. Jun had appeared earlier and Yugen finally gave her the ounce of attention she desired. "Why am I sitting around? I'm examining the situation while replenishing my chakra reserves." he uttered in response, his voice low, quiet and calculated. Shin began to speak shortly thereafter and to flirt with Jun. Yugen watched as the jacket he had thrown caught the poor kunoichi in the face; at that, he allowed a soft chuckle to flee his lips. His arms went from drooping around the bench's back support to intertwining behind his head. His fingers laced to brace his lazy head as it sunk back a little bit; even so it was difficult to get comfortable in this kind of weather!
The creatures of snow soon formed into dragons, but Saiko was on the job in attempt to withhold their wrath. Yugen's eyes widened a little at these new snow formations. They certainly looked like trouble, but he believed in Sunagakure's shinobi with every fiber in his being. Hence the artist continued to take in whatever his gaze could glean of the unfolding scene. In the distance, Ferrah unleashed her wrath upon the snowmen. In the meantime, Loki formed a fiery tail and wielded it as an expert swordsman, flipping through the air and slicing through snow beings like a hot knife through butter. At this, Yugen grinned. He was aware of the potential that Bleum and her companion held, albeit not as certain on their leadership skills; he thought on that matter ever since Karuto assigned her as a backup lead for their squad. Nevertheless, Yugen wasn't one to argue on these matters. Should she lead, I shall follow. And provide her with any knowledge she may lack. he figured, gazing upon her as she too fought the snowmen. The kunoichi turned into a tornado of wind and lightning, summoning her wrath upon the snowmen. It was quite beautiful indeed.
It was then that Yugen turned to Shin. He appeared to change in strength and hue as the boy pleaded for power from his eight inner gates once more. Yugen shook his head in dismay though his subtle simper did not betray his lips. You and the other lad. What're you two doing... you must fight more wisely. Like a match in the wind, you summon your spark for only but a moment, when you could burn longer and brighter as a kindled fire. Perhaps in the end, you'll grow stronger of it, yes... if you live for that long. his emerald hues burned brightly from beyond a narrow, studious gaze; Saiko too looked as if his embers were dying out. Yugen hoped, for their sake, that this event might not hold out much longer. Still, he weighed what he might do on the matter, or what he should do with himself. Maybe joining the fray now was a good idea as everyone else were giving it their all. The creatures might be weakened, physically, and he, Yugen, could weaken them mentally.
By now, Yugen had risen to action, thanks to Bleum's earlier tug on the edge of his armored arm. The strength of which had surprised him, but also made him giggle in sort of a manly way. His body had awakened in the same manner a drunken man's would, betraying his balance as he had fallen face first twixt the valley of her beautiful bosom. From that moment on his senses gradually stirred and his blood warmed in spite of the lack of heat in their environment. "Oh my," he coyly murmured in attempt to free himself from the alluring warmth of her breasts, "Pardon me, I had not expected you to do that. Please," he paused, wrapping a loose hand round the side of her neck, "Do be careful out there. Otherwise you won't be able to ask me if I'd care~" He silently asserted, smiling all the while with a generous curl of his lip, a smirk. His hand had found his hip and he looked her in the eyes, searching for her rebuttal before she slipped out of his grasp. No matter. Yugen knew she'd slay him for it later.
Was is not the support's turn to, well, support! Yugen weaved whatever intricate hand seals came to mind in terms of his knowledge on genjutsu. It was his specialty and what he was cooking up was nothing to be taken lightly by their opponents. [1/3] He had seen the way his illusions could affect the snowmen earlier and devised a plan to set them all, or at least a large quantity of them, up for failure. After weaving his hand seals, Yugen concentrated his chakra onto Karuto, whom would act as his ticking time bomb for the jutsu he prepared. [2/3] During Karuto's next post, all the snowy creatures within 100 yards of the muscular barbarian would fall prey to an illusion of the ground rising up to swallow them whole. The very snow from which they came and the earth below which they stood would rise up to ensnare the snowmen along with every being made of snow that stood within this genjutsu's area of effect. [3/3] After that, they would not have long to survive lest they break free. Yugen was sure his allies would destroy the creatures by that time. He was sure, and yet he hoped. LEARNED - Buried Alive [ Custom Jutsu ]
Embers rained down on the snow and the dragon. It mitigated the overall snow height all around them. Bluem, Ferrah's, and Loki did great work cutting through forces which protected the igloos. This allowed Shin to break two of them. The third one, however, tripled their security as they fired off a slew of carrot noses at the attacking genin. The destroyed based also freed the group of snowmen from the various genjutsu which had been afflicted by the enchanters. Overall, the sky seemed orange for a second as all of the noses came down.
Meanwhile, the dragon died. Yep, kind of anti-climatic, but because it was hit with logically more chakra than it could manifest at one point, it had no choice but to die. That means that Karuto and Saiko only have the igloo to assist in.
(B-ranked carrot nosed aimed for everyone except Hideo and Karuto, since this was editted afterward and it wouldn't be fair to make them change)
That...worked? Holy sh*t, he did it! The dragon, flying towards him, crashed to the ground and slid to his feat. Turning to the side, he was about to call back out to his subordinates and Saiko, when he noticed there was still one igloo left. Karuto sighed. He had hoped they would be able to take it out while he handled the big stuff, but it was proving to be a tricky situation. Grabbing the remains of the dragon, Karuto hurled the gigantic beast towards the last igloo, hoping the sheer weight of the corpse would crush the structure
๑๑๑๑Moving into the area rather quickly, despite having his Byakugan activated Hideo didn't need it to see the giant dragons of ice forming from where he was. As he entered the area he noticed the shinobi splintering off to deal with the three igloo he watched form around the perimeter while he made his approach. And while that was certainly good, it left Karuto who he could see rather plainly with less comrades at his side. Before Saiko's body hit the ground, he'd see white sleeves pass around his sides catching him in his descent. Gently putting him on the ground in the snow, Hideo stood to his full height moving in front of Saito as he watched Karuto launch his assault as well. As his attention turned towards the last igloo as Karuto finished the last dragon rather quickly, his eyes lazily following towards what he could already see considering the radius of his vision, Hideo forced a seal with is left hand two fingers upright in front of his chest as he scanned the area visually.
Sighing slightly as the air next to him swirled quickly and compressed to form a rather destructive clone, who wasted no time in jumping and hitching a ride on the large dragon skull Karuto launched after coming back down. "All work and no play for me today it seems," Hideo could be heard muttering to himself slightly annoyed. With how things seemed to be going, he'd missed quite a bit of fun in his absence. As the young Hyuuga took a moment to turn his head towards Saito, as well as Karuto who had just joined them so that his side profile could be seen, he smiled wryly as he spoke. "It seems I was a bit late, huh Karuto, Saiko-kun. I took my time and missed all of the fun."
As Karuto's attack would reach the igloo, the sheer impact would cause Hideo's special clone to explode with the force of three explosive tags causing a devastating blast to be created, with enough fuuton chakra to slice though whatever it came into contact with. He hoped the combustive power of the jutsu along with Karuto's sheer strength would eliminate the problem altogether, but they would just have to see.

Saiko expected to hit the snow and feel cold. Instead he felt warmth envelope him as the white sleeves went around his sides. The boy slowly stood to his full height, coming back to his senses as he did. "Oh thanks Hideo." Saiko would say to the Hyuuga. "There might be more fun left to be had." The boy took a deep breath and slowly drew his katana from it's sheathe. "I don't have much chakra left but, I can at least use this." Saiko said, watching as Karuto and Hideo attacked the igloo. The boy decided to stick back for the moment and conserve his energy. However, it seemed that option wasn't going to be given to him. The boy nosed a carrot coming straight for him. Saiko sighed softly as he reversed his grip on his sword. He would then swing it in front of himself. As he did this he coursed chakra through it, causing a wall of elemental chakra to be placed in front of him. This would effectively stop the carrot. However, Saiko was running dangerously low on chakra.
Hanako had ran from the residential district as fast as she could, but given her lack of physical capability, that was slightly underwhelming, so much so that she seemed to have arrived on the tail end of the encounter from the previous one. Still, it didn't stop her from spotting Saiko's life energy with her Sakkakugan and rushing to be near him. Though she remained at the ready to deploy genjutsu if needed, she stayed silent otherwise until ordered by a superior ranking shinobi to do otherwise. Her role was simply that of support in this instance, not a front line show-boat.
It seems that her jutsu had successfully held the snowmen in place, to which Ferrah let out a sigh of relief at her handiwork work. What's more was it seemed that her teammates were doing a wonderful job of destroying the igloos and in doing so seemingly broke some kind of spell on the snowmen surrounding Ferrah? So that's how her magic works huh? Enslaving the elements.. Whoever is leading this troupe is definitely more than dangerous enough. There's no way I can let her stay around Lahlil. With the igloos being dealt with Ferrah was about to retreat back closer to her teammates when a barrage of carrot noses flew her way from the snowmen that were still enthralled in the snow queens grasp. With a single quick hand seal Ferrah dove underground once more in order to a void the rain of makeshift projectiles. Using this underground passage as a safe means of travelling back to her comrades Ferrah swam out of the ground besides them all. Which turned out to be a smarter move in the long as Karuto threw an entire dragon's body at the remaining igloo.
Is was doubtful that anything the stationary target could survive such an onslaught and indeed it seemed as though her assumption was correct. In one fell swoop Kaurto laid waste to the igloo and presumably freed the snowmen trapped, or more than likely killed as well. Either way Ferrah was glad to have these rotten creatures banished from her sight. She had more than enough snow for the rest of her days. Of course life, as it often does, had other plans for her and Ferrah had someone voice blast inside her own mind. It seemed that whoever was leading these forces had finally made themselves know. Storming off into the direction the telepathic voice had directed her, Ferrah moved as quickly as she could. A glint of pure malice in her eyes was the only tell of the fury that raged within her. Saiko looked around as he heard the voice in his head telling him the snow queen's location. It sounded familiar and after some time picking it apart, Saiko realized that it was the Skeleton King. 'Is this guy on ourside? Or is he just using us to protect him?' The boy thought to himself as he immediately turned direction and started to head the way of the snow queen. It seemed the snow had mostly finished up here and he wanted to help the others. The walk over would hopefully give him some time to regenerate some of his chakra.
๑๑๑๑Without waiting much, Saiko got up and began to head the same way a voice he heard and now assumed they all heard told them to go. The Skeleton King it seemed had his sensory abilities back in action. "Mendou na koto ni naru yo, Saiko!" Hideo said aloud seemingly towards Saiko who either didn't here him and continued going, or did and continued anyway. It was fitting considering what he'd just said as he looked back towards the girl who'd entered the area just recently and reared herself up towards Saiko most recently, however it was difficult to place whether he was talking to her directly or to the group in general until he made that clear in his statement. Taking in everything now, one could tell slight annoyance crept over the boy's face. Things were already getting complicated, and he'd only been here for a minute or two.
"First here, now there. The Skeleton King sure likes leading us around, that's the gist of it at least. Well, newcomer you're with me. As much as I'd like to take my time I'd hate for Saiko to get into any trouble without backup considering his condition. Since you rushed to his aid, I figured you had some interest in staying by his side." His gaze shifted towards Karuto as he continued, knowing full well the taijutsu specialist was quite capable on his own. "We'll scout ahead towards the new area before the dust clears at that last igloo, get a head count and a grasp on the situation. Between the three taijutsu specialists in the village I know of, one could guess Masato is already on the scene as per usual. It's hard to guess if he's already pushed himself to his limit opening gates left and right, and if so we might not be able to rely on upfront brute strength alone. Just as well, if this Snow Queen fights using the same methods she has this entire time, she'll try and separate us at mid to long range before we can get close. Instead of all heading to the forefront, it might be good for one of you to hang back to help deal with the possibility of sheer numbers when it comes to an assault so we aren't caught off guard like we almost were here."
Hideo's eyes and head shifted slowly but surely to each of the areas where igloos and snowmen had appeared, including the last minute barrage of noses that were quite capable of skewering anyone not nimble enough to dodge without outside help. "We cannot all run in hastily like before and shout coordination tactics, things will get messy if we do. If we assault in three waves and move from the back of the battlefield up through it, each squad behind the next will be able to clean up any pesky situations that may arise to flank the one before them from continuing towards the goal of the Queen herself." Cracking his neck from one side to the next, Hideo slipped his left hand in his pocket as he began to walk away, turning to face the rest of the group as he walked backwards for a bit at a slower pace. "Well, that's my observation anyway, do with that what you will. However, if you agree you should split up the forces you have here now between front line and mid line, preferably fastest in front with the most reflexive of the bunch following. Once everyone reaches the rendezvous point, each team can proceed accordingly and adjust for whatever we come up against then, including whatever our own forces may already be dealing with."
Looking towards the girl he'd asked to come with him initially, he motioned with the swing of his head for her to follow as he raised his free right hand to wave to the group behind him as he turned and walked at first yelling out towards Karuto and the rest, "In the end the choice is up to you, it's of no consequence to me if you change strategies, or use none at all. After all, things may not be so cut and dry once we arrive on the scene, plus who am I to show up and suddenly give directions? This will all be a pain either way. Good luck!" He hadn't even been there long enough to observe much, however between what he saw at the academy, and now here, Hideo who was slow to action quite often revealed perhaps this was because he relied on field strategics more than show of force to turn the tide in his favor.
With that Hideo dashed off after Saiko, however not at his full speed to allow Hanako to follow. If he had to guess, Saiko wasn't foolish enough to outright enter the fray in his state and would likely remain at the rear. This was fine with him, the young Hyuuga had no qualms with staying back and getting a chance to observe further and just as well back up his teammates. Besides, with his new found reflexive ability among other things it was best he remain with those who needed someone with fresh eyes so-to-speak on the situation, and a plethora of chakra to boot. As he moved swiftly, his mind drifted again towards what he'd shouted first earlier. "You're asking for trouble, Saiko. I just hope you haven't found any yet."

Karuto listened to Hideo's instructions and nodded "Let's move out team!" He called out as he followed the Hyuuga to the new location Strength: 12 Speed: 9
Hanako shrugged softy as she listened to the strategy planning by Hideo and then offered a wide grin. "Sounds like a plan. I'm a long-range fighter anyway. Let's just hope everything goes accordingly.", the raven haired genjuist said with confidence in her ally's ability to handle things. She was only a genin, so this was well beyond her paygrade, so to speak, as it was. Though it was still her duty as a member of the Village Hidden in the Sand to face any threat with strategy and poise, regardless of the fact that she lacked the strength to handle it on her own...or even contribute too much in a team right now.
When Hideki darted off and Karuto behind him. She nodded firmly and followed along, moving as fast as she could to keep up with the group. She did not want to be the slacker or be identified as a weak link, even if there was a potential that Hanako, herself, was indeed such. The only way to get stronger was to try.

... A few new faces showed up to witness the dragon's funeral. One of them defended the lot from the final assault these snow beings had attempted. Another had new information to share. Yugen listened in as the shorter boy spoke with Saiko. He took in the knowledge they had to offer before turning towards Karuto whom declared that it was time to head out. Yugen disagreed, "I'll stay back with Bleum. There are injured denizens to tend to. We'll catch up soon as they're treated." he reassured in the end. His hues followed their squad leader as he bound off to the final destination. Hopefully Karuto and the other would be able to take down the snow queen. And if they'd nearly die doing so, at least there might be someone around to heal them. This was Yugen's thinking.
"Bleum," he called out to her, then to Jun whom too seemed to have stayed behind, "Spread out and look for wounded villagers. Round them up and follow me afterwards." Yugen scanned the area and went to where he noticed one helpless individual was hiding. His eyes were great for picking up forms of life that were, well, yet alive. "Hey, everything's alright now. The threat has left this area," Yugen analyzed their form to notice that the man's extremities were severely colorless, "Let me help you up." The fellow allowed him to wrap an arm around their back and assist them to stand. "Watch your step. Don't want you losing an arm on the way to the clinic~" Yugen quietly joshed the poor fellow. There were more of these pitiful souls scattered around Sunagakure. He, Bleum and Jun would have to gather them and heal them as a whole, thought Yugen. It might be the most effective way to treat them. Of course this all depended upon the severity of their injuries too. Those with worse wounds would clearly have to be patched up first and foremost.
Bleum only watched as everything unfolded. Most if not all of their opponents were defeated and even more people showed up than there were before. Albeit a little late perhaps. As everyone announced their leave she turned and looked to Yugen. " I will stay with Yugen. Many are injured by these events, and I want to be of help to them. We believe you can all take down this evil that plagues us. If not, we won't be far behind to help. " she said softly with a bright smile. If anything in these times a hopeful smile, even if fake, was what was needed to erase the deep feeling of sadness at the lives that might be lost.
At Yugen's command Bleum only nodded and looked to Loki who also bowed his head as if knowing what needed to be done. The girl quickly took haste in moving throughout the area to find wounded civilians. She wasn't the strongest of them all, but she believed she could carry one or two people back. Loki could drag someone by the collar. In the end, Bleum and Loki had brought back quite a few people that needed Yugen's help in varying degrees. One thing was sure. They all looked scared, especially the younger children. Loki sat by her side as she looked to the people. There was certainly something that she could do to help here even though she had no idea how to physically heal them. What she brought was a healing of the mind and soul.
Bleum closed her eyes and began to focus chakra into her hand. She wanted to take that energy and mold it into the petals of a specific flower that she had always held near to her own heart; the egret. [1/2] The girl visualized the beautiful white flower that resembled a dove in her mind as the chakra in her hand began to form it. Before everyone knew it one had come into view and then it was two and finally three. [2/2] Most began to watch her hands in awe, but she could tell that this small action wouldn't change anything. Her soft lips parted slightly releasing a small sigh of sorts as she once more closed her eyes and focused on her flowers. Chakra began to well up within her, surrounding her with a lavendar aura that resembled many falling petals. [1/4] A beautiful melody began to leave her soul which she hoped would only begin to change the feeling in the atmosphere as long as her own calm demeanor. Singing always had a positive effect on her own emotions, often freeing her. [2/4] She let the emotions take over her own heart, slowly removing the cold anger that had plagued it moments ago. It was like she was melting the snow within. A lightness filled her, and she grasped at that emotion strongly. [3/4] Bleum projected these feelings of calm and happiness towards everyone around her. Her song became even louder as she outstretched her arms as if inviting them all into a warm embrace. Slowly, her feelings would meet them, bringing small smiles to each and every face. [4/4] She felt so much happier now to see their faces, but still she wanted to reach further into their hearts. Bleum stood and repeated the procedure, projecting her voice and using the flowers as her medium. Happiness was all that she wanted for her people. The girl could feel it now, it was as though Winter had become a beautiful Spring. A small girl walked towards her, limping and injured in multiple places. Bleum kneeled down towards her showing her the egret flowers which she seemed to be trying to reach. Together they smiled at the beauty there in her hands. [1/7] How badly Bleum wanted to relieve the girl of her pain, to have her forget all that she had seen and lived on this day. She continued to sing softly, still channeling her chakra around her. She focused on the girl's emotions. [2/7] She could feel the lingering pain, the strong emotion she had been unable to lift by simply projecting her own feelings unto the girl. Fear was such a strong emotion, a poison, something that gripped the heart and never let go, like a leach. [3/7] Bleum didn't care. She wanted to help this young girl with the blonde curls and the dirty, teary face. She focused on her hidden emotion and began to draw it out with her own chakra. The initial burden of it stung. [4/7] It was like a knife slowly plunging its way into her heart, and her breath hitched. Bleum bit her lip and started singing again with more passion. She had to stay strong and keep drawing it into herself no matter what. [5/7] The knife plunged further into her heart as the feeling of fear tried to overtake her, but Bleum would not let it hinder her. This small girl in front of her needed her to be a great shinobi, better than ever before. [6/7] The girl stared at her blankly as Bluem's method began to work. Bleum had managed to take on all of the emotions of the girl, drawing her away from the world in a sense. She would now be afforded a quicker healing rate, approaching nearly a tripled--but natural--healing rate. [7/7] LEARNED : Naosu Kihaku no Jutsu [ The Art of Healing the Soul ]
Bleum grasped at her chest, taking sharp deep breaths to steady her mind. The young girl's emotions had taken a bit of a toll on Bleum, but she knew that she had done what was right. Loki came to her side, nuzzling his face against her arms and licking at her cheek. She couldn't help but chuckle and lean into him with a smile. He didn't need any abilities to bring her happiness. He was truly a special companion.

Everything seemed to have settled a bit and many of the gathered ninja dispersed to tend to another area.
Jun hoped they might fare well, considering that there were many of them whom appeared to have expended much energy.
She nodded toward her friends and followed Yugen's orders. Jun went and sought out people that hid amid the chaos.
It had died down now, but they were still hidden behind trees or rubble. She gathered them with tender words and gestures. "Come, we have a medic that may tend to your wounds.." she reassured, helping some up and over to Yugen.
Jun even searched other areas (topics) for people that might be injured, gathering them back to their small group at the fountain.
Her active byakugan helped her seek out those in need. The wounded and the scared. The helpless victims of this winter nightmare.
Yoshi stopped by the academy to get her bag back and was relieved to see it was still in the same place she had left it. Headed to the fountain, she sat down on the ground with her back resting against the fountain, the part where people usually sit down but she didn't want to. Pulled some of the scrolls out, she unrolled some of them and frowned a bit. "Hmm.." She pondered as she was measuring the star chart against the map she had of Sunagakure. It seemed she had made a few mistakes, a sigh escaped between her lips. Reached to her water bottle, she opened the cap and drank some as she closed it up and resumed fixing her mistakes. She would have to make a new star chart. Dug into the bag for a moment, she got out a pen and started to make notes on it to what to correct.
