Sunagakure Village Information
Suna Country's Background:
The Wind country is marked by deserts and dry mountain ranges. The Wind Country is one of the larger ninja countries in the Naruto world, though it only borders Rain, River and several unnamed countries. Its western most borders are currently unrevealed.
Sunagakure no Sato no Canon's Background:
Hidden Sand is one of the most powerful ninja villages in the world. The village was founded approximately 60 years before the start of the series. In recent years the country Daimyo sought to reduce the power of the ninja village. This caused the Sand leadership to join Orochimaru in attacking Konoha. Sand was double-crossed and eventually signed a peace treaty with Konoha. Suna has had what could be called bad luck with its Kages, with the Third disappearing under mysterious circumstances, the Fourth being killed by Orochimaru and the Fifth falling in battle to Akatsuki member Deidara.

Many previous Kazekages had existed, but the annals of history has forgotten them. Now we begin anew!

Rules of The Village
1. Everyone starts as Genin unless the Kage deems them worthy.
2. No Genin is allowed outside the village without a higher ranking shinobi, or Kage's permission, or an escort.
Time periods for outside traveling:
3. Everyone must follow every rule. Failure to do so will result in punishments being handed out.
4. Failing a mission will resort into punishment due to rank of mission. Ex: Fail an S-Rank mission and you will pay an S-Rank punishment.
5. Respect superior shinobi. This works the other way, too. Everyone must, essentially, respect each other.

Information: The Village Newspaper, “The Evening Scroll”, is in need of articles! It is willing to pay handsomely for interviews, general news, and special events stories, but that’s not all: they also need photographs for their stories, and are willing to pay for those as well! Mission is considered completed as soon as the Shinobi collects three photographs for various stories, or writes a 50-100 word article.

Information: The mail system has always been a testing ground for young Shinobi hopefuls: providing swift, timely delivery of parcels, avoiding evil pets, and carrying a large amount of mail all at once put great strain on the Shinobi. As such, the pay is very nice, but only if the mail makes it to the destinations in one piece.

Information: Chakra-draining fish have invaded the aqueducts carrying water from the ocean to Sunagakure, and they must be exterminated at all costs. The Shinobi charged with this task must dive in to the aqueducts and slay the fish, and clean up the mess afterward, including dung.
