As Bleum and Loki followed along behind Yugen she wasn't able to catch his joke because her eyes were drawn to the beauty of the sight before her. Bleum herself had never actually experienced the joy of a snowy winter. The street looked like an unfinished painting. So much of the canvas was still perfectly white, as if waiting for the artists hand to return. Her body wandered forward in an incredulous stupor. Her breath was pale against the numbing air, she blinked thoughtfully as the frost patiently kissed her face, captivated by the soft, dusty illusions of light that sat heavy on her eyelashes. In that moment she decided that she adored the snow, moreso when it was falling.
It was only then that she re-concentrated on Yugen and Loki once more. The two looked excited and full of energy. Bleum held up a fist in determination. " Let's go! It's like we were meant to get our headbands today, so this must just be part of our training, " she exclaimed with an abundance of positivity. Together they raced forward towards their original training destination in search of an anomaly but also enjoying the frigid air that tickled their warm skin and tinted their cheeks cherry hues. Bleum stopped short as they came into contact with what could only be described as snowmen trying to stage an all out siege.
Bleum's brows arched in surprise at the scene. How was such a thing even possible? Yugen devised a plan first, and she nodded in his direction liking his courageous and headstrong thinking. She had no problem letting him take the lead for her. Loki likewise seemed eager to attack the creatures that seemed so odd to him. She followed suit with her partner and pulled two shuriken from her own pouch stationing herself about six feet away from himself with Loki. One after the other she took aim and projected the weapons at the snowmen in hopes that they would meet their mark. She let out a short laugh at Yugen's joke, " Only you could manage a joke that bad at a time like this. "
The boy looked over at Tetsuhiko, feeling something shift in the air. Saiko looked around for a moment. He couldn't see anything but, he could feel the hostility that had suddenly surrounded them. "The snow men. They've just become hostile towards something." The boy could feel how hostile each of the snowmen had become. It felt bad but, he could feel the hostility of others that had recently came into the area. "I'm not sure but, I think some of the other shinobi have attacked the snowmen. And the snowmen seem to be hostile back." Saiko would report. However, he was sure that the Sakkugan user would have a more full report. "Regardless, we need to track down that person and stop them from causing any damage to the village. Will you come with me?" Saiko asked the other two. The boy couldn't stand letting the person get any farther for even a moment more.

He tore through the first couple dozen snowmen like a wrecking ball tears through tissue paper. He was beginning to doubt this was some form of bad joke due to the inadequacy of the foes he faced. He had seen Shin appear as well and only guessed that his student had joined in as well. It was only after a few seconds that the grouping of enemies seemed to even register his attack. At once, the Snowmen all turned to face him. Two of them shot their carrot noses out at him, while a third turned into a giant boulder and hurled himself towards Karuto. Instead of wasting a lot of energy to block all of those attacks simultaneously, he decided to take the path of least resistance. He substituted his position, swapping locations with a straw training dummy that the students used for their Shuriken drills.
Once he had avoided the snowmen's attacks, Karuto watched as two Shuriken embedded themselves in another one. He looked over his shoulder to the source of the attacker and saw two fresh Genin who had recently arrived on the scene. In a blur of motion, Karuto appeared before them in a defensive stance, placing his body between the two of them and the Snowmen...which was easy considering he weighed more than the two of them combined. "Hey, newbies, you better watch out. These things aren't playing around. They go down easily but hit hard so use minimal force to destroy them and conserve your strength" Karuto would shoot out a couple of D Rank Lightning Bolt's out of his fist, just enough to destroy the Snowmen while allowing him to pace himself out for a long fight.

This was so weird. Like a miniature snow army that didn't seem to stop coming? The others, in her sights, were already onto the act of fighting them off and she expected the snowmen who noticed her to come running with its chilly appendages flailing. The snowman ignored her. Is that because I'm not doing anything? Do I have to fight these? Rather than suddenly engage in the brawl, Sadayo took a leap backwards and landed unevenly on what was likely a snow-covered table. The laughing and frowning puppets didn't move too much from their initial spots, however, the hulking samurai puppet was pulled some back with her. Where were they coming from? What is the source?! Aside from the snow and the loud crack that echoed above the ceiling, the question stood on whether there were enough hands on the action already that she could look for some sort of clue. The distance she made between herself, Karuto, and the new genin wasn't too much trouble at first glace. She was long range and did have two puppets ready nearby to act even if it meant prematurely casting herself into the fight. Maybe they'd pick the puppets and not her? Sadayo started to look behind her, above her, along the bottom of the walls, and the windows for anything weird outside of snow. The puppeteer called out: "Don't let this get too out of hand. I want to look into this blizzard without turning my hands purple- or whatever color snow turns hands! The request, or 'order' rather if this was how she would prove herself, was more to the room. "If we want sunshine again, then I'd guess that goes for all of you....

Sadayo suddenly felt the ground beneath her become frozen cold the moment she said her final words. It would make her incapable of moving as the snow around her quickly swirled into a cone shape. Once it completely obscured her from sight, those with chakra sensing or seeing capacities would notice that Sadayo's presence disappeared altogether. As she disappeared, the cone also fell to the ground. Once she disappeared, all of the snowmen lost their momentum. This would give Yugen and Bleum the false impression that their shuriken attacks were powerful enough to stop the snowmen they attacked. Meanwhile, the temperature swiftly resumed to the desert heat as the group would be left wondering what occurred.

Shin prepared for the worst, he was on the brink after all. When push came to shove he felt it was time to go above and beyond. Focusing on his chakra points he used the cloud of steam that had been created as a cloud to cover his next level of formation.
There would be another boom of chakra as the fifth gate shot open, and with it came the new wave of pain and focus. He could feel his strength grow even further but he knew it wouldn't be good once it was over. Speaking of over, the steam settled.
No snow men. No enemies. Only desert heat. This sudden realization was enough that it instantly snapped Shin out of the fifth gate. With that drop of power he felt the waves of pain over take his body, which brought an inaudible scream and swear to his lips as he fell to the ground writhing in agony. "Sweet god. I haven't felt this much pain since I pissed off that bunch of groupies" Shin said, more painful memories shooting through his skull. There wasn't much more he could do at this point, outside of sit there and stare at the sky asking why god had forsaken him.
"Bad timing you say? A little snow in the desert sounds like a good time to me, Bleum. Am I right, Loki?" Yugen called out to her fox friend. Bleum's companion yelped merrily in agreement. Yugen turned his head back toward the snowmen just on time to notice someone appear before them in a flash of agility. That was rather quick.. I assume he must be adept to taijutsu. He has a bit of an affinity to raiton as well, I see. thought Yugen, keeping his surprise to himself as the essence of a smirk slipped cross his dry lips. The air was cool, but soon enough, the snowmen appeared to melt as the desert's heat gradually resurfaced upon the grounds.
Soon after Karuto appeared, another Sunagakure nin called out toward the group that had just arrived: Bleum, Loki and Yugen. The latter shinobi glanced toward where he heard Sadayo's voice and allowed her words to sink in as snow seeping into the temperate, desert surface. "Don't worry about us, brawny over here seems to have melted the snowmen just by flexing his hamstrings." Yugen joshed regarding Karuto. Still, the event had climaxed much too soon and he did not trust this simple resolution. Hence he allowed the chakra prodding his gaze to finally make itself manifest. Eyes aglow with energy began to survey the scene enough to notice two odd events or spikes in chakra, off in the distance. Yugen studied the odd energy with a narrowed gaze, noting the growing activity in the direction of Sunagakure's forest along with a separate, private residence. "Hey guys! It looks like the Eternal Forest and Bast's private pad may be under the influence of this winter wonderland phenomenon too...." his velvet voice was clear enough to reach anyone whom might have their ears open now that the blizzard had subsided.
If he would not be interrupted, the artist would proceed to one of the two areas he had mentioned with Bleum and Loki in tow. Probably the forest.
Hanako blinked as she could see more chakra manifestations forming just beyond the academy, but being inside this room left her range of vision extremely limited. "I have a sinking suspicion it is now spreading to other areas of the Village. We need to get out of this eventual death trap and locate the source.", she explained quite firmly, as if the enchantress were resolute in her decision. She had not taken into consideration anyone of higher rank being in the area, but at the same time, her lack of trust in anyone there did nothing to reduce the anxiety the fresh kunoichi was beginning to feel.
It was one of her bigger fears or distempers, placing her trust in another person. More importantly was the trust of loving another, which was the true source of her phobia. These people were strangers, and the only thing that kept her working at their side was the shared allegiance in Sunagakure, otherwise, she would have avoided them entirely in any other circumstance. "...unless anyone else has a better idea?", she added after a couple of moments of personal silence.
__ The Chuunin listened to the input of his comrades. It was obvious staying cornered was not going to work. "No use cowering behind the curtain, time for dress rehearsal!" His voice was triumphant and resolute as he summoned three metal marionettes before him. First was Castor, second Io, and third Caesar. Caesar stood next to Tetsuhiko for protection while Castor and Io stood ahead of him with Castor to Tetsuhiko's left and Io to his right. Indigo chakra threads conjured from his fingers and attached to the metal marionettes. Three were on Castor, three on Io, and four on Caesar. They each played a few tunes of their iron pipe organs from their mouths. Tetsuhiko flexed his fingers in anticipation and stared at the iron sand wall he made. "Shall I lift the curtain? We're going to have to fight our way of here." The Iron Prince felt the intense anicipation of a grand performance on the horizon.
Bleum tossed both a glance of approval and caution at Yugen as another ninja appeared before them. She moved closer to Yugen and signaled Loki to her side. She knew who this ninja was immediately because of his speed and ability to use raiton. A certain Karuto Raiken had recently been rumored to have defeated a Skeleton King and matched the description of this man well. Karuto gave them a few words of caution and Bleum nodded as Yugen made a jest about the male's physical strength having defeated the snowmen.
Bleum looked around as the temperature seemed to return to normal and the snowmen all but disappeared. Something didn't quite seem right about this, and she was sure that the worst wasn't over yet. She also wasn't particularly worried about being injured by the snowmen. They didn't appear to move extremely quickly, so as long as she used long distance attacks she might get out unscathed. As long as they didn't have any surprises in store. However, the truth was that she wanted to start learning some of her bukijutsu. It might have to be at a later time.
" Hey, let's not give him all the glory. I caught a few with my shuriken! " Bleum exclaimed. As she was stating this, though, Yugen's eyes had begun to glow. She watched with awe and excitement, expecting him to say something in his next words. When he did, the three would take action.
Once more going through the lists of ninjutsu Lahlil decided to look through the null element in order to find something that could help round her out. Indeed she found many different jutsu that could help her, but unfortunately she would have to pick up some wire in order to fully utilize it. [1/5] Still if she practiced it now and picked up the basics then she should be able to run to the super dome and be free to use the jutsu how she wished. Since she had no wire on her Lahlil tore a piece of string from her shirt. [2/5] Using the string as her focal point for her chakra Lahlil began running her chakra through it until she was satisfied that the whole thing was full with it. Lahlil then created a simple triangle shape with her hands. [3/5] Now came the actual hard part, Connecting with her chakra running through the string, Lahlil struggled to 'force' it out as a powerful cutting attack. [4/5] It was sort of a odd feeling as she need to treat the string as part of her body in order to fire it out. Eventually tough she was successful, and the chakra sliced through the air and cut through the nearby table like butter. [5/5] Ayametori [ Pattern Links ]
The next jutsu that Lahlil wanted to learn came from the study of spiders which she found was actually really interesting. [1/5] The jutsu themselves were rather easy, but the hard part was getting the right amount of chakra to mix with her body fluids, or rather spit. [2/5] Getting started on her practice Lahlil built up a large amount of spit until her mouth felt full. Next she combined her chakra into and swished it around her mouth like she was cleaning her gums. [3/5] The rest of her body wasn't sitting idle either. All throughout her pores, seat would be pouring out with a mixture of her chakra.[4/5] The result was a golden coloration of chakra that began to harden the moment it made contact with the air and formed an armor of gold around her. The next jutsu was another spider jutsu but one that was uniquely different from the other in that it wasn't a golden one. [1/5] Since the golden thread was made more for it's special hardness that rivaled steel, this jutsu was built for capturing enemies in a sticky web [2/5] Combining her chakra with her spit once again Lahlil focused on a dummy that was in front of her to be her target. Of course if this were a real battle she would probably need to restrain her target beforehand. [3/5] Spitting her chakra infused web at the target, the projectile flashed with a speed that surprised even Lahlil and she could already see a hundred different applications for it. [4/5] The chakra web of course made perfect contact with the dummy and quickly grew to consume the entire wooden creature from head to toe. Walking up to study her handiwork Lahlil wondered about possible amplifying the strength of the jutsu with another spider web. [5/5] Kumomayu [ Spider Cocoon ]
Inspired by her spider cocoon technique that she had jutsu learned Lahlil searched for another jutsu that could work with subduing her enemies so that she could make good use of her spider cocoon jutsu. [1/5] It didn't take her very long but that was probably because all the spider jutsu were listed in the same area of the scroll. Just as she had with all the other jutsu Lahlil formed her chakra with the spit in her mouth until it was the perfect consistency. [2/5] Once she had this accomplished Lahlil spat out the ball into her hands and began rolling it up like it was a large piece of dough. kneading it patiently until it yielded the results that she had studied in the book. [3/5] Going back to her dummy that she had used for her earlier training Lahlil chucked the ball outwards. As she did so her creation rapidly expanded as her chakra worked it magic. [4/5] The jutsu grew so much in fact that it easily overtook the entire area that she had been training in. The cobweb shape bent and distorted as the room wasn't large enough to hold it. Satisfied with her coverage into the other elements Lahlil picked her her study into the genjutsu arts. There was just something to be said about their illusionary prowess that constantly drew her in. Not to mention that she didn't have to actually kill anyone with them if she didn't wish to. Picking out the first genjutsu she came across that seemed to work well with her sand theme Lahlil practiced it over until she got it down pat. [1/1] Suna no Akushumi [ Taste of Sand ]
Another sand genjutsu that Lahlil found in the list next to the taste of sand. She began practicing it as well. Though it was lower level it would still be wonderfully useful if she could manage to use it to hide the effects of smaller items or even chain into another genjutsu. The next jutsu was one the played on the opponents mind by creating scorpions to cover their body and attack them. An interesting take on a genjutsu since she would need to create the creations and their mannerisms with just her chakra. [1/2] Thanks to her affinity for genjutsu she was already confident that she could create it no problem. She only needed to study the movements for scorpions in order to create them as convincingly as possible. Taking the manuscripts to their full advantage LAhlil used them to study the beasts of her village. [2/2] Sasori Muragaru [ Scorpion Swarm ]
The next genjutsu was chosen specifically for it's combination purposes with her other genjutsu since it created a freezing effect in the target that would be perfect for mimicking the sandy desert nights. [1/2] Or perhaps a more devious use for if she wished to separate a target. Either way Lahlil set to work memorizing the hand signs and it's use of how best to induce it's full effect into an opponent. [2/2] Samui Sabaku [ Freezing Desert Night ]
Next up was really a simple parlor trick that Lahlil found could work well with her theme. A quick memorization of the hand seals and she would already have it down. Most people would be able to see through it's use of course, but as long as she used it right then perhaps they wouldn't have a reason to see it in the first place. the next jutsu was also simple in it's execution. Using her chakra to manipulate the sound of her voice Lahlil would be able to sound as though she were an animal from the wild or even multiple animals. [1/1] Etainoshirenai no Oto [ Sounding the Unfamiliar ]
For the next genjutsu Lahlil used a piece of paper with writing on it to order to practice. Writing characters down she used her genjutsu to changed what was written on the paper into something else entirely. Though a touch would easily disspell the jutsu/ [1/1] Etainoshirenai no Fugou [ Mark of the Unfamiliar ]
Another jutsu Lahlil found interesting was the ability to change her voice. Sort of similar in her animal changing voice genjutsu, except this one would be ale to make it seem as though her voice were coming from all directions. [1/1] Shihouhapou [ All Directions ]
A wicked prank jutsu Lahlil smiled a little to herself. It was nothing really but the ease with with her should learn it and it being such a small easily memorizable technique had made up her mind on it. The jutsu would make a foe feel as though they had gone through poison ivy. [1/1] Tsutaurushi no Jutsu [ Poison Ivy Technique]
Although not useful with just herself. Perhaps it would began more so later on when Lahlil had more jutsu to use and pick from. The simple genjutu would effect the enemies depth perception. [1/1] Okuyuki Katawa [ Depth Distortion ]
Another of the higher level genjutsu that Lahlil figured she should get back to learning. This one dealt with enemies who were affect her height genjutsu. [1/2] Practicing the handseals and her manipulation of chakra Lahlil created the effect of a zero gravity area. Of course the sight of seeing the ground would give away this genjtusu it was still useful none the less. [2/2] Mujuuryoku no Jutsu [ Zero Gravity Technique ]
The next genjutsu was picked up mainly due to it's psychological damage it could do. Though Lahlil was loathe to do so, she figured that she could sue it in a different way in order to help convince someone instead of hurting them. [1/2] It was a little tough to use with no one nearby so Lahlil used it on herself. Since she could have no way of knowing a persons mind it would have to be a reflective genjutsu that plays off the users memories. [2/2] Shi kara no Sasayaki [ Whispers from the Dead ]
Finishing up her last of her training Lahlil noticed something quite particular. With her eyes active Lahlil could see the flow of life force chakra dart along the edges of the academy before soaring off through the air. What the..? a worry some fear welled up inside of her, as she set off to investigate only to find a large gathering of nin near the opening of the doors. Immediately she recognized Karuto but everyone else she hadn't the slight clue who or why they were all gathered out here. Hands held up to her face as she covered the lower half of her face with her turtle neck, Lahlil squirmed her way through multitude of bodies in order to follow the mysterious trail of chakra.
Saiko looked over at Tetsuhiko and nodded softly. "Yes if you could let the sand go, then we can find who ever did this. However, it seems the commotion that was going on outside has died down at this point." Saiko would say as most of the hostility that was outside had at this point vanished. "So we can focus on finding the person responsible." At this point Saiko would wait for Tetsuhiko to drop the walls and walk through. If Hanako decided to help them, he would allow her to lead as she was the person be suited to find the person. However, if not he would walk off to search on his own.
In an instant, the swarms of snow enemies became nothing. At the same time, it appeared that the small blonde boy achieved his next stage of transformation as the steam generated masked it. Masato's eyes would not mistake the swell of chakra. He grinned, enjoying the fact that someone else would be on par with his abilities some day. Masato's eyes suddenly twitched, having their attention drawn elsewhere. "We aren't done." he said to himself, taking his first few steps towards the direction of the forest. He turned back to Shin who was suffering the effects of his transformation. " You'd better learn to live with that pain and make the next transformation worth it." True advice that may be taken the wrong way, either way, Masato vanished.
Karuto furrowed his brow at the joke made by the scrawny kid behind him, paired on to the wide eyed doe-like stare the girl gave off. There were two weird kids who were in way over their heads it seemed. Karuto more or less ignored the going on's of the rest of the shinobi here, they could handle themselves, but walked over to Shin and knelt down. He helped the boy up and lifted him in his massive arms "The pain is going to persist unless you are seen to. I would say we should immediately take you to the hospital but until this threat is dealt with nowhere is safe, so for now you will remain with me" Karuto's tone was very different than the jovial one he had used in their last meeting, this time he was all business. Stern and Strong; he wasn't leaving this open for interpretation, it was an order.
Approaching the odd pair who had shown up in time to get roped into this, Karuto noticed them racing off to the Eternal Forest. "God damn it! Get back here you two aren't read- ah, f*ck it!" He called out as he raced after the pair to the forest.

Saiko had confirmed her desire to move along and Hanako nodded to the young man as she gathered her composure and affirmed her resolve by a solid stance as she strode forward, prepared to make the departure and deal with any enemy contact they may be forced to handle on the way. "We need to head toward the area of residential zones, preferably the wealthy homes, as I witnessed a few other life-energy signatures running off that way.", Hanako said as her eerie, crimson eyes glowed. The Sakkakugan was going to be a great aid here in tracking the issues of great importance, and the young Kurama enchantress was doing her best to assist with tactical guidance.
She then pointed in the direction of Bast's residence to emphasize the direction of the chakra signatures she had seen move to. "That way, to be precise...give or take a few walls.", she remarked with a bit of chagrin at the end of her statement. Now it was up to Saiko to take point and lead them onward.
