๑๑๑๑Arriving rather quickly to the academy, Hideo headed for the back open training area. Wasting no time at all, he began a routine of stretches he'd become accustomed to performing every morning before getting a bit of physical training in. Since he didn't exactly know what the Kazekage had in mind for him, he figured it prudent to get himself nice and limber in the event she planned on giving him a physical examination to pass. Still, it could have been anything else under the Suna sun for him to attempt to accomplish, there was just no telling what was in store.
After limbering up, he removed his katana from his back and subsequently the sheath it was usually housed in. Producing a small whet stone from his thigh pouch, Hideo knelt on the ground katana in his lap, methodically sharpening each side while he waited. He wanted to be as prepared as he possibly could, if that was possible depending on the circumstances. Still, the process of sharpening his katana allowed his mind to silence for the time being, a calm he perhaps could find useful son enough.

Saiko would walk into the academy and go to the area that he was training in earlier. He wanted to learn a lot. The boy was witness to how strong some of the genin were in this village and he wanted to make sure that he was just as strong as them. The first thing he wanted to learn was how to make crystal clones as they were considered powerful and durable. So, they would be useful.
The training would start with Saiko creating a crystal mirror with a single hand seal. Once the mirror was made, Saiko formed another series of hand seals. The boy would use his chakra to start to grow crystals out of the mirror. It would be made easier by the fact that the mirror was already made from pure crystal. The crystals would slowly form into a human being the same height and general appearance of Saiko. It wasn’t hard for Saiko as his understanding of chakra and Ninjutsu greatly helped him as he made the crystal. Soon enough three different clones would be standing in front of him. One jutsu done. Several more to do.

Saiko decided the next technique he wanted to learn was one to help him escape from scenarios or just travel faster in general. It was the basic Shunshin. The boy formed the hand seals necessary for the jutsu and started to focus his chakra. The boy would use his chakra to suddenly disappear. When he disappeared, he would use his chakra to bring sand up from the ground in order to cover his disappearance. It was a quick thing to happen as Saiko suddenly appeared about five feet from where he was originally standing. (Shunshin no Jutsuu [ Body Flicker Technique ] D Rank Learned
To continue training, the boy had to become more resistant to flame in order to stop himself from being hurt from the Katon that he was able to produce. Saiko had an idea of how to do this. He knew it was going to hurt but, it was something he had to do. Saiko would raise his right hand up and form a single hand seal. Once this hand seal was made, he would start to spread chakra all over his skin. Once he was completely covered in his chakra, he would start to warm up the chakra. He would continue to increase it until it was at an almost unbearable level. The boy gritted his teeth as the pain washed over his body. It certainly hurt but, it was going to be worth it in the end he was sure. Once he got used to it, he would increase the temperature again. The boy would continue to do this until he was more resistant to most flame.

For the next technique, Saiko would draw his sword in his right hand. Once it was in his hand he would raise up his left hand and start to do hand seals for the next jutsu. The hand seals would help him to start to mold his chakra and start to send it to his sword. The chakra would slowly inch across the blade until it reached the tip of his katana. Once Saiko finished the last hand seal, the blade would suddenly be enveloped in flame. The boy couldn’t use any bukijutsu now but, he knew it would be useful when he started to train in bukijutsu. Or if anyone ever grabbed his blade like the clown had.

Saiko had already learned a shunshin but, he wanted to learn the katon version as well in case he was in a battle scenario where he was corned as he was before. For the most part, the training was almost the same. However, he had to use his chakra to use a burst of flames to hide his escape instead. With that in mind Saiko rose up a tiger hand seal and started to focus his chakra. Soon after he would disappear just like the regular shunshin. Immediately after he disappeared he would use more chakra to cause a burst of flames to expand from where he was before. Then Saiko would then appear about five feet from where he was once again. However, as he appeared another burst of flames would appear.

At this point it was time for Saiko to start to learn more of the advanced techniques for Katon. Saiko sheathed his sword back in its place and prepared for his next jutsu. Saiko raised his right hand up and started to form handseals with it. As he formed the handseals he started to take a large breath. Chakra would start to form in his mouth, holding the air in before bringing it down into his chest. In his chest flames would be formed then suddenly the boy would breathe out the flames into a large ball of flames in front of him. Saiko would then raise his hand up to his mouth to help control the flames as they were expelled from his chest. Saiko would keep blowing the flames out until he was out of chakra and flames. The boy would then take a moment to catch his breath.

For the next technique, Saiko would reach into his projectile pouch and pull out five shuriken. Then with his left hand he would form handseals. This technique functioned much like the jutsu he had just learned. However, in this instance he would be using the flame to hide the projectiles that he threw. Saiko would use the chakra that he was molding to make flame spheres around him that would then start moving forward. As they moved forward he would quickly throw his shuriken into the flames to conceal their movement. The boy would then watch as they hit a wall and the flames went out. Saiko immediately would grab his shuriken and put them back in his pouch.

Once his shuriken were back in his pouch, the boy would raise both of his hands up in front of him. His left hand would then start to form handseals. As the hand seals were formed, Saiko would start to form chakra in both of his hands. Once the hand seals were completed, Saiko would raise his hands both up into the air. The boy continued to mold chakra in his hands until he started to use it to the chakra in his hands to form balls around them. The balls would be made of entirely of flame. There would be about ten of them before Saiko would send them all in the same direction into a pool of water to immediately be put out.

Saiko wanted to learn a defensive jutsu as he knew that there was a lot of Taijutsu users that could easily take him out. The next jutsu he had in mind would prevent people from getting close to him without being burned. Saiko would lower his hands back down to his chest and start to form hand seals. With the hand seals he would start to mold chakra in the air around him. He would then use the chakra to start to move the air in a whirlwind around him. As the air started to turn around him, he would then start to mold fire into the air. Then soon enough he would have a whirlwind of fire protecting him from other sources. The boy would then allow the flames to die down.

Saiko decided that he wanted to take a break from the Katon and learn something that he had heard in the academy. It was the ability to korabo with others and yourself. It was said to make your abilities a lot more powerful. He figured that it would be perfect for himself considering the versatility that he had with ninjutsu. The boy would raise both of his hands in front of his chest. Then he would start to form separate hand seals with both hands. Each hand would be doing hand seals for a different technique. He wanted to start simple by using two e rank jutsus at the same time. So he would mold both Mokuton and Ranton chakra. Then he would start to mix them for the technique. Soon after, a wooden pillar would raise from the ground into the form of a of a ring. Spikes would then come out the ring. Then from the center of the ring a large sound would be emitted that would be used to deafen the person trapped by the wooden ring.
Once again, the boy would start to form hand seals in front of him. The same concept was applied in forming different hand seals for different techniques and molding the chakra separately before mixing them together. The boy was mixing Mokuton and Ranton once again as he had done previously. Then he would start to form wood off his body, the ranton chakra coating it. The wood would slowly expand out of his body forming a clone. The clone looked practically the same as Saiko. However, the Ranton chakra made the clone look as if it was bigger than it was.
This time Saiko wanted to use shoton so he could get some practice doing that as well. The boy went back to doing the hand seals just like how most justu were produced. The boy molded his shoton chakra with his left hand and molded ranton chakra with his right hand. As soon as the hand seals were completed he would hold them to mix the chakra natures together for the final technique. Once they were mixed they would go to his right hand where crystals would start to form, coated in ranton chakra. The crystals would be formed into that of blade and with the ranton chakra it would appear to be smaller than it was to deceive the opponent in the size of the blade. Saiko would then allow the blade to dissipate so he could continue with his training.
Saiko went on and continued to form hand seals. As before he started to mold ranton and shoton chakra. However, this time he was using a lot more ranton chakra for the technique that he was doing. The boy finished the hand seals for each jutsu and placed his hands in front of him. Black clouds would then start to be formed from his hands at an extremely fast pace. It would completely block a person’s view. In the clouds, small bursts of lightning would go around it. However, this was to hide the hidden surprise of crystal shuriken on the outer edges that would shoot both inward and out of the cloud.
The boy was quite happy with his progress in this training however, he wasn’t finished. There was still a lot to try. Saiko would start to form hand seals for the two different techniques that he was going to try. It would be Shoton and Katon this time however. As he molded his chakra he would send both the elements to his right hand. Once again he would start to form a crystal blade from his hand however, the crystals would be ignited in flames. Soon enough he would have a blade made of crystal and fire. It would be useful to attack with he was sure. As before he would dissipate the crystal and the flames to free up his hand.
Saiko went back to forming hand seals. The techniques were both becoming bigger in size and harder to control. However, Saiko knew he could do it as long as he kept focused. The boy molded mokuton and shoton chakra. Then started to mix them together for the final effect. Mokuton would start to form off of his right shoulder into the form of himself. It was another clone. However, the clone would be coated in a crystal armor that would protect it from attacks of fire which was its main weakness. Saiko smiled as he looked at his accomplishment. However, he had to continue.
The next jutsu would have both ranks of D and B. Saiko started back up on his hand seals with both of his hands. They were starting to feel a bit numb from the constant movement but, he had to keep going. As the hand seals were produced he would start to mold shoton and ranton chakra in his body. As the hand seals were completed, he would start to mix the two chakra natures together. The boy would then expel the chakra in front of him where crystals would start to form in the air until it became a large dragon creature. However, the hidden effect was when the creature would open its mouth. It would suddenly expel black clouds from its mouth that covered the area.
The boy would shake out his hands for a little bit before returning to his training. Saiko went to forming hand seals. Once again he would form ranton and shoton chakra. However, he would have them on the outside of his body so that he had a thin layer of both Ranton and Shoton chakra covering his body. As the chakra coated him, it would slowly mix. Saiko focused on both the jutsus then mixing them. Soon enough he had a crystal armor layer covering his body. Not only this but, Ranton would be covering his entire body as well that added extra protection but, was still hidden by the crystals. It would help with protecting his body from outside attacks.
Ranton and Shoton would be used for the next technique. The boy went to forming hand seals. It was a tedious thing at this point but, necessary none the less. Saiko smiled softly as he focused his different chakra natures at the same time and went on to mixing them. The hand seals being completed. As they were, he would raise his left hand up and his right hand in the form of a sling shot type movement. Once he did this, a black cloud would be shot forward at a dummy. Once it hit the dummy it would be electrocuted and completely covered in the black cloud. However, the black cloud would quickly become pink as it became crystal and encased the dummy.
Saiko was prepared for the most difficult training thus far for Korabo. He was going to attempt to mix two B Rank jutsus in order to have a much more powerful effect. Saiko went to forming the necessary hand seals to produce the two different jutsu. However, the chakra would be mixed as he had be doing through the entire process. Before he continued he took a deep breath and started to form another crystal dragon like he had done before. However, this time he focused a different Ranton technique that would cover it in black clouds. Not only this but, the dragon would be covered in spiders consisting of electricity. So that anything that the dragon hit would also electrocute the person.
Once Saiko was finished with his training, he would find a wall in a common area and sit down for a moment. He was exhausted so he wanted to rest for a little bit. As he rested he noticed that Hideo had come into the area. The boy smiled a bit and watched him as he rested. 'Hmm wonder what he's waiting for.' The boy would think as he rested.
Reality or fantasy? This was the question posed to Hanako by the scroll as she continued to study and work on comprehending the full gate and depth of her skills and potentials given to her by her Bloodline Limit ability of the Sakkakugan. The scroll she studied from gave a complete analysis of the basics of genjutsu and how her doujutsu could augment them to a point were breaking them would be difficult. [1]
The Sakkakugan took genjutsu and amplified the sensory range in which most techniques afflicted the body's central nervous system. This made the techniques utilized by people like Hanako seem so real, and even more difficult to tell reality from fiction, thus reducing one's cognitive ability to know when to use Kai to break a genjutsu's hold. It was a truly difficult concept for the genin to wrap her head around, but she continued to study anyway. [2]
This was a path that, once started, there was no going back. You had but one option, to keep going. The scroll continued down in explanation of this skill that was used to strengthen a genjutsu by detailing the chakra manipulation involved. It seemed that it did have it's own costs associated with it's use. Hanako expected as much, and continued to delve more into the subject matter. [3]
The chakra manifestation for this ability seemed to center on the eyes. This made complete sense to the Sunagakure genin, as even a trainee could tell that it was based completely on her doujutsu's sinister abilities to warp genjutsu passed simple illusions into truly terrifying nightmares. It was an advantage that needed to be understood completely, and the costs alongside using it, if any needed to be known. [4]
"Bored...", Hanako remarked softly as she continued to read. She was not normally this sedentary, but her training demanded it of her. The study of the technique, which now had a name, was imperative. "Genni Genjutsu... such a simple name for a powerful technique...", the young enchantress thought to herself as she advanced passed a diagram and down to more information. [5]
The costs associated with the use of this technique were nothing truly devastating, but to a genin, this might be a bit much to ask for. The Strengthen Genjutsu technique required an amplified burst of chakra to be manipulated through the eyes during the casting of a genjutsu. Any deal of chakra manipulation was still a practicing effort for a genin and one Hanako felt she would need to attempt repeatedly. [6]
With the knowledge of the costs, the method, and the purpose of the technique, it was time to begin warming up to try it out. Hanako was prepared and primed already from the learning of the Munashii Bunshin and the Flash of Weakness. Stretching as she stood up from the floor, were she was reading. She took her pose and began to focus her chakra, slowly. There would need to be absolute concentration for this performance. [7]
The chakra, or life energy, flowed through Hanako with greater ease this time. She had a little warm-up as previously mentioned and the force moved up and through her eyes in a circulating manner. This was just the process for activating the doujutsu, as the creepy, red eyes glowed a sinister crimson. She could tell there were more people in the academy, as their life-force was visible to her, plain as day. It was likely going to get busy around here. Though she couldn't afford a distraction as she continued to build up the chakra slowly in practice, preparing herself for the attempt. [8]
Hanako was a prodigy with genjutsu as it stood, and thus this technique was not as difficult as it could have been, as she then exerted the necessary chakra. Her eyes seemed to burn with greater intensity as she expelled the chakra outward. This was the power of her eye, the ability to create powerful manifestations. Now, all she needed to go with this ability were some actual illusions to empower. [9]
Hanako had been training at the academy, but with the entrance exams finished and her rank of Genin bestowed it was time to get her headband and permissions from the Kage to begin further training outside of her Kekkai Genkai. There was a world of illusions to master, and a plethora of minds yet to be enchanted by her will. So with that, she left the academy and proceeded to the Kage's office.
Having traveled back from the Kazekage's office with her permissions set in place as a Genin, Hanako resumed her place of training back at the academy, but not before retrieving a scroll on basic genjutsu techniques one would need to utilize if focused in the field. A little guidance, even from literature of the informative nature, was not out of the question...especially for a novice, even if she was something of a prodigy.
"Kiri no Jutsu...Sounds fun.", Hanako remarked to herself as she read over a scroll detailing a particular technique were she would utilize a phantom clone to create a distraction. It was all part of the art of enchantments, and bringing people under her spell to manipulate them to her whim. Though mostly it was to be an instrumental part of their demise in a realm of imaginary horror. She then activated the Sakkakugan and performed a seal, as if forming a clone, before she then made the illusion of herself dash at the training dummy before her. Upon reaching it, the clone detonated in a shower of sakura petals, until she dispelled the illusion and smiled softly. She seemed to like that one.

The next technique Hanako had in mind to practice was the Dirty Clothes Technique, a jutsu that caused a person's clothing to feel itchy and dirty, as well as incredibly uncomfortable to move around in, slowing them down. This would be useful in slowing her opponent's reflexes so she could unleash a ninjutsu upon them with greater potential for a direct hit. "Fuketsu Koromo no Jutsu!", the enchantress of the Kurama clan called forth as she held an open palm out to the training dummy and caused an illusion of dust and dirt to swirl about it's form. If it were a living person, it would likely be in a world of discomfort at this point. It was another useful skill she would need in her arsenal.
Ayame walked into the academy with her hand on Daichi's side, and a hand on Oroiki keeping him steady as she walked. The academy had a couple genin training in it, she didn't recognize them so she would definitely need to talk to them later. See if there was anything they specifically needed in the village. She walked around the training genin giving them a small wave, "Nice to see you all working hard." Ayame then walked over to Hideo and smiled, "I had unexpected guests at my home please do forgive our lateness." Ayame scratched the snake's chin, "Hideo this big green mass of a snake is Oroiki. He's going to help with your and a couple others exams."
Hanako was likely one of the aforementioned Genin training that Ayame had witnessed, and upon noticing the woman giving her a wave, she simply returned the gesture with a bow of respect before returning back to her genjutsu practice. There probably wasn't much she could offer the superior ranking kunoichi and her side-kick at this point given her own novice level of skill.
This realization of being a novice only drove her to work harder on the next jutsu she had to study and perfect. "Magen : Kokuni Arazu no Jutsu..", she muttered to herself as she looked at the training target and made a hand sign. With a swift motion of her hand outward, she began to sculpt the false landscape technique around her dummy. Those who could perceive the technique would see the academy for what it was, but instead of a wall behind the dummy, it would be a door leading outside. Enchanting the mind and ensnaring the senses were her forte, and this was just one more jutsu to add to her arsenal.
Sadayo followed the lady kazekage's path to the academy. The presence of a snake had her thinking as her leader was roping in the other genin. In time, yes, Sadayo finally learns the identity of this 'Hideo' character. Hideo, she thought, didn't seem like the stoic type. Rather, he had assumed the a state of calm. Was he always calm? But, even the strong man who punched the raging red-haired menace for her couldn't be judged by first glances. She could be in the presence of a man with superb timing, strength, and another with an efficient sense of serenity to summon at will. These two are already her allies. With luck, they would become her comrades.
Sadayo looked concerned at first, puzzled maybe, with the thoughts buzzing about in her head. She pulled her collar and flipped a puffy ponytail with the back of her hand. "Ever worked with a long-range fighter? Karuto appeared at the Academy in a blur of motion. As soon as he saw the snake, he recoiled slightly. He wasn't particularly fond of reptiles, but he quickly composed himself and looked around. Hideo was here, and so was that one girl he helped out with that annoying doll-thing. He knew she used puppets and Hideo the Byakugan. If they had to fight then Karuto held the distinct advantage. "So, Lady Kazekage, what's the sitch?"

Saiko looked around and noticed that the Kazekage had appeared in the academy. The boy quickly walked over to the scrolls and picked one up for a bukijutsu called shigure souen. Saiko would open the scroll up on a nearby table and immediately start to study the first stage. It would work with his Katana for sure. It seemed that this bukijutsu relied heavily on Chakra too so that would help him out with how hard the techniques would be for him. Stage one seemed to be pretty basic. Mostly seemed to be evading techniques and distractions. Saiko read over each of the different techniques in the first stage and nodded a bit as he read. ’Hmm should be easy enough.’ The boy thought to himself as he read through. Once he had studied each of the different techniques to an extent he thought was acceptable, he would draw his katana and prepare to practice each of them. Saiko moved to the left but, then quickly dashed to the right as the first of the techniques had told him too. Then after he had dashed to the right he charged forward with his sword to thrust into a dummy. Once the sword was in the dummy, Saiko would start to focus his chakra. The chakra would go around the blade. The boy would then thrust upward out of the dummy. While he did this there would be an obvious burst of elemental energy around the sword. Once the sword was out of the dummy, he evaded to the right again. The boy would then raise the sword up into the sky and once again focus chakra around the swords blade. He would then swing down at a rapid pace in front of himself, missing the dummy that was in front of him. However, at the same time some mist of all sorts of elements would raise up which would be confusing to most on lookers. Saiko smiled and sheathed his katana, breathing softly as he walked back over to the table.

Saiko would go back to studying the material that he had in front of him. The scroll talked about a technique called Last Minute Rain. It seemed like a simplistic technique. The user had to drop their blade then kick it so that the blade would go flying. It seemed simplistic but, Saiko knew that with how his body wasn’t as coordinated, it would be a little more difficult for him. However, the boy was definitely up for the challenge. He would read over this technique several times, even slowly practicing the kicking position while he read. However, he would quickly move onto the next technique. The next technique required that he synchronize his breathing with an opponent. The boy wasn’t exactly sure how to do this in the middle of a battle. Of course he would read over the technique and look for any advice that the scroll would have for him on how to best succeed in this practice. After he read a bit he looked around the room for someone that he could attempt to mimic. The academy seemed to be full of people at the moment. Saiko focused his eyes on Karuto who had just appeared in the academy. Karuto seemed like a pretty could candidate to practice on considering he was mostly a physical person. Saiko slowly breathed faster as it seemed the boy had just been spooked by something, so his heart rate and his breathing would be elevated. Saiko would continue to breathe until his and Karuto’s were synchronized. ’Oh that wasn’t that difficult.’ The boy thought to himself before pulling his katana out of the sheathe. Saiko would then drop the katana directly down. Saiko would then kick the hilt, getting the blade in the angle between his foot and his leg. This would send the blade flying at a dummy and pierce it in the chest.

Saiko moved back to the table and started to study again. The next stage seemed to be where things started to get tougher. Saiko wasn’t very adept in Bukijutsu so some of the phrasing in the scroll was confusing to him. However, the boy read over it the best he could. There was only three techniques in this stage so, he figured he would be able to learn it quickly. The first technique was another misdirection type technique it seemed. The user would have to drop their blade in the middle of a swing then grab it with the other hand. Saiko looked down at his sword. ’That might be a little hard. I’m definitely gonna have to practice that one a lot.’ Saiko thought to himself as he went back to reading over the technique. There was no chakra involved in this technique so at least he wouldn’t have to worry about trying to focus on that as well. So, that would make it a little easier on himself. Saiko nodded a bit and went to the next technique. This technique sounded like it would especially be useful to him considering he could make an elemental shield to protect against an attack. However, the addition of chakra just meant there was something else for him to focus on while he was swinging his blade. Saiko was still sure that he would be able to do it, he just had to read over the advice given in the scroll. It was like some of the previous techniques where he would mold his chakra around the blade. The technique it seemed to be the most like was the mist technique however, this technique was more substantial and tangible. Saiko would use that sort of thinking when he went to practice the technique. However, his eyes would then shift down to the next technique. Once they did, Saiko realized that it wasn’t really a technique. Instead it was a training to increase ones chakra. It seemed pretty straight forward to him. Especially since chakra strengthening was something that he had done in the past. Saiko read over what the training wished for him to do before he decided to try to practice the different techniques. Saiko drew his Katana once again. Saiko would slash his blade diagonally in front of himself. The boy would then drop the sword mid swing before attempting to grab it with his other hand. However, on his first attempt he dropped the sword. Saiko would sigh softly before picking up the blade again to attempt the technique again. This time he just barely missed the blade. ’Damn.’ Saiko would think to himself. The boy would attempt it again and again until he eventually had the technique done. Saiko would smile at his progress. ’There we go.’ Saiko would then swing his blade in an upward motion. As he did this the boy would mold chakra around the blade and attempt to create a chakra shield with it. The first time, the shield wasn’t very big and for the most part wasn’t very solid. Saiko realized that the reason for that would be that he didn’t use enough chakra. Saiko nodded a bit and once again swung his sword upward, molding his chakra like before. However, this time he added more chakra. This would cause the shield to be more substantial. Saiko would continue to do this over and over again until the shield was much stronger. Saiko would sheathe his sword as he went to do the next training. The boy would course chakra throughout his body. The chakra would continue to go throughout his body. However, the boy would focus his chakra to certain parts of his body. He would bring it to his hands at first and push chakra out from his hands in a burst. Saiko would continue to do this through out his entire body. Saiko would continue to do this until he felt his chakra getting stronger.

Saiko went back to the table and started to read over the techniques for the next stage. Saiko could tell just from a glance that this was going to be much more difficult than he was used to. The boy somewhat wished that he was more adept at bukijutsu however, he wasn’t. However, this stage like the last stage, only had three techniques so perhaps it wouldn’t be that bad for her. The first technique seemed to be one that would be useful as it made him faster. Saiko thought back to how fast that Karuto was. ’Maybe this type of the technique is why he’s so fast.’ Saiko thought to himself as he read over the technique. It required him to use chakra to increase his speed. Not only this but, coat himself in chakra to hide himself in a sort of mist. It seemed something doable for Saiko. The boy would read over the technique thoroughly like he had been doing with the entire style. Once he figured he had sufficiently read over the jutsu he went down to the next technique. This was another technique to increase your speed. However, that wasn’t the end goal. The end goal was making a thrust of his sword faster so that the opponent had less time to react. With this technique and the first one, the boy would be able to strike out much quicker than most people he figured. For the most part, the thinking would be the same as the previous technique. However, with the added movement of thrusting it might be a little harder for him. However, he would get to that when he practiced it. Saiko read over the technique several times to make sure he had it down in his mind. For the final time, Saiko would shift his eyes down to the next technique. As before it seemed that this was a training instead. However, this training was to feel hostile intent around the user. This would be useful for him later on if he was ever on a mission. The best way for him to do this was likely to extend his chakra out from his body permanently so that he could sense the feelings of people around him. Specifically of people that were looking to hurt others. That seemed to be the best way for him to do the training. With all of the reading that he had done in his mind, he would move onto actually practicing the techniques. Saiko would start by sending chakra down to his feet. The boy would mold the chakra around his feet to create a sort of spring on his feet so that he could run faster. Saiko would take a breath as he started to walk at first, then jog until he was at a full out sprint. The boy noticed a slight improvement to his running speed. However, it wasn’t good enough. Saiko would push more chakra around his feet and strengthen his leg muscles with the chakra to also increase his speed. This seemed to do the trick as Saiko ran incredibly faster than he was ever capable of running before. However, Saiko would course chakra around his body as well to create a thin mist around him. This would cover his body to hide where he was slightly. As he ran Saiko would draw his katana. Saiko would coat his blade in chakra and pulse more chakra down into his legs as he ran. The boy would get even faster. He’d look around for a moment to find a dummy. The boy would then run towards the dummy. As he got close he would thrust the blade and himself forward, striking the dummy in the chest. However, at the same time it would appear as if fire exploded from his body and hit the dummy. Saiko smiled softly and put his sword back into it’s sheathe. Now all he had to do was the training that was mentioned in the scroll. Saiko took a moment to give himself time to take a breath. When he was calmed down the boy would form a handseal and slowly expand his chakra outwards into the air. Once it was throughout much of the air, he would use it to try and scan for any hostile intent. Saiko looked around at the people around him but, for the most part no one here was hostile. Everyone he could see was a shinobi of the sand. Saiko pulsed his chakra out to feel for any sort of emotions that would be related to hostility. The only thing he really picked up was from Karuto and Hideo but, the hostile emotions seemed directed towards their exams that they were supposedly taking from what he had heard previously. Saiko smiled a bit as he finished the training.
As Saiko finished his training, the people outside felt the temperature of the immediate area drop. It wasn't a chill of fear so much as a literal chill. The area became dark as the winds began to swirl around the academy. The inside of the whirlwind was mostly safe, however, as though it were the eye of the storm. From there, a drop of snow fell. From outside of his windows the boy could see snow begin to fall in Sunagakure. Those outside would be caught in the showering of it. First it was in specks, then heavy snow fell. Finally, a layer of snow blanketed the entire academy area. From the snow, snowmen whimsically formed on their own. They looked harmless as they appeared around the academy, although the sheer numbers of them were the start of panic. Despite this, however, they did not attack a single person who was outside of the academy. When about fifty of the snowmen formed, a rock broke through the window Saiko was closest to. It wasn't so much of an attack, as all of the windows of the academy were broken by various rock pellets, including the one closest to Hanako. The purpose was expansion, for with the broken windows the snow was then able to enter. From there it would only be a matter of time a snowman formed right in the rooms those inside were by.
Saiko looked outside the window as he noticed a few specs of snow starting to fall. He had never seen snow before. And it was still relativity warm the last time he went outside. Maybe it was a freak storm? The boy watched as it quickly became a heavy snow. 'What in the...' The boy thought as he continued to watch, noticing the snowmen starting to form. 'Maybe one of the higher ranking shinobi was setting up a winter festival or something.' It seemed all rather strange. However, he was happy to see snow for the first time. That was until the window he was looking out of suddenly shattered, he had been standing far enough away that he wasn't directly hurt by it. Saiko turned his head and looked at a rock that had made its way through the window. Then without warning the rest of the windows started to be broken as well. "Okay well, that can't be good." Saiko quickly formed a few hand seals. Once they were complete two wooden clones would be formed off of his body. The clones each faced a separate wall and completed a series of hand seals. Saiko followed along with the same set of hand seals. All of the hand seals would be completed at the same time and like a choreographed even, each of the Saiko's slammed their palms against the ground. This would cause wooden tendrils to raise up on each wall of the building. These tendrils would wrap together to form a net like wall in front of all of the windows. This would hopefully prevent more of the snow from getting into the building. Saiko would complete the jutsu one more time for the last wall.
As the snow storm centered on the Academy, Hanako was more shocked by the fact that this was the first of the frozen material she had ever personally witnessed in her entire life. Being a Genjutsu specialist, her first instinct was to activate a single hand-sign and attempt to utilize Kai to make sure this was no hallucination. If this was a genjutsu, it was pretty elaborate given the circumstance, so unless it was dispelled from her, she continued to assess the threat and join Saiko..locating him by his life force energy via her Sakakugan's sight. "This cannot be good, indeed. With the Kazekage here, one could assume a foreign entity is attacking.", she muttered under her breath, to nobody in particular, though Saiko would be in ear-shot regardless.
While Saiko was busy trying to stall the snow from further entering the academy, Hanako utilized the Sakakugan's ability to analyze life-force energy by sight to see if these snow constructs were alive or had some form of chakra powering them. Then looking up to the ceiling, in the direction of the sky, or 'eye of the storm', would attempt to see if there was a larger source of chakra or life-force energy that might be the source and if it was human...or at the very least a discernable target.

Hanako could see the briefest of lifeform disappear beyond her scope as the snow storm continued. The snow and this life force would have the same chakra patterns. Furthermore, all of the snow and snowmen would also have the same pattern to their chakra. It was then, however, that a loud bang was heard from the door Hanako came from. One slam became several as the bolts of the door began to give. Furthermore, while a solid defense, the wooden walls Saiko formed slowly began to ice over. The process would take some time, but the man could not hide forever behind these walls if he wanted to be safe. Still though, the beaten door should be the two in the room's first priority, since judging by the sound there must be at least a dozen forces trying to break in. With Hanako's vision, she could clearly see them as a chakra pattern aligned in the same way as the snowmen outside.

__ Tetsuhiko, Sunagakure's newest Chuunin, sauntered towards the academy with a job application in his hands. He was going to apply to become the newest art and theatre elective teacher as well as possibly a general shinobi education teacher. With all of his qualifications gathered together in his application he approached the building. Suddenly Tetsuhiko, a creature of the desert, began to feel a legitimate chill in the air during daytime for the first time in his life. Tetsuhiko hated the feeling of cold air nipping at his skin, but hot air was always so exciting. As he rubbed his goosebumped arms he noticed flurries fill the air as snow covered the desert around him. He held out his tongue and allowed a snowflake to fall onto it. Now, this was an experience nothing like what he had seen before! He took an alternate entrance and doorway into the academy offices where he dropped off his paperwork.
When out on the other side of the academy arouse such a clatter Tetsuhiko lept from the room to see what was the matter. Away to the nearest window he flew like a flash. He tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. "Snowmen!" Then Tetsuhiko ran into another area and found Hanako and Saiko. He noticed the doorknob wiggling as the door was pounded upon. He theatrically spoke up as he unsealed some iron sand and assumed a battle stance. "Ah, distinctly I remember it t'was in the bleak December. And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor." After making his perfect poetic recitation he looked to Hanako and Saiko before speaking. "Room for one more?" Tetsuhiko asked with a wink and a hair flip before refocusing on the door.

Reality or fantasy? This was the question posed to Hanako by the scroll as she continued to study and work on comprehending the full gate and depth of her skills and potentials given to her by her Bloodline Limit ability of the Sakkakugan. The scroll she studied from gave a complete analysis of the basics of genjutsu and how her doujutsu could augment them to a point were breaking them would be difficult. [1]
