Bast strutted into the Academy only to locate the smashed carcass of a noble--but evil--pumpkin. Someone had been here and was fighting evil just as she was. Though fairly certain there weren't any more here, she checked the area, and thank goodness she had! One ripe, orange gourd awaited her, putting off its mysterious waves. It, too, was conscripted before she meandered away.

Ferrah watched as a plethora of other kids came running through the academy in some kind of mad search for what was it pumpkins? She considered it a strange choice and more than likely would have written it off as some kind of wacky goose chase if their hadn't been a public service announcement detailing the whole ordeal. Well whatever they probably need my help dealing with this. I mean it has part of my job description after all. Stretching out her fingers Ferrah felt the tendons move underneath her skin, taking a feel for her body. She had to admit it felt good being back after such a long time and from the feel of it she had been out a long time. Activating her doujutsu Ferrah started her search for her would be culprits by checking the surrounding training yard, assuming none were to be found then she would continue her search in the academy building itself. Ferrah would pick apart the place board by board if it come down to it.
Like rapid dog Ferrah tore through the buildings scrolls and texts without the slight care. She could smell the rotting death that she was all to familiar with hanging in the air nearby. Her labors bearing fruit Ferrah found one of the beastly orange devils stuffed away inside of one of reclining chairs. Ferrah quickly made her exit with her prize to continue her search.
Saiko entered the academy and looked around a bit. He wanted to learn a bit before he spoke with the Kazekage. That way she may possibly think more highly of him. It seemed to him that the best thing to start with would be some chakra training to increase his control of chakra. So, the boy walked around the academy and found a quiet place that he could work on his chakra control. Saiko found a scroll containing the different hand seals and how to properly control your chakra. It would make his training a little easier having this in front of him. The scroll would be unfurled and placed on the ground as Saiko sat in a crisscross fashion. Saiko’s eye would then begin to scan over the scroll as he studied the document. Occasionally he would move the scroll to be in a better place for his one eye to be able to see it. His focus was reading the chakra control section as he already knew the different hand seals.
As the boy read, his hands slowly started to mimic the hand seals on the scroll from which he was reading. Saiko already knew the hand seals like the back of his hand but, it wouldn’t be bad to practice the seals so that he could perform them faster than he previously could. His eye continued to scan over the scroll, reading about chakra control and the benefits of mastering it. Saiko’s hands would fumble occasionally as he worked on getting faster but, it was okay. Mastering something took time and practice.
At this point Saiko wanted to start to use the hand seals to control his chakra like the scroll had outlined. Saiko took a deep breath as performed a snake seal. With this seal the boy started to move the chakra around in his system. It took him a moment to really focus completely on the task at hand to get his chakra moving. However, as it started to move he could feel it moving how he wished it. The academy had taught some about this but, Saiko always knew that there was more to learn. The boy continued to focus on moving his chakra around his chakra system and through the various tenketsu. The boy managed to smile slightly as he trained.
The scroll had pretty much been completely read at this point. The only parts that weren’t read had to do with how to perform hand seals but, Saiko already knew how to do that so there wouldn’t be much point in reading that specific section. Saiko signed softly as he changed his hand seal to that of the Ox and pushed his chakra out in all directions before pulling it back to his center. The next part of the training was settling his chakra. With the same hand seal, Saiko pushed his chakra in different directions. The chakra then would be left alone to slowly settle itself in Saiko’s chakra system.
Once again Saiko switched hand seals and this time went with the Tiger hand seal. Saiko wanted to bring his reading and training all together now and hopefully have results. A deep breath would be drawn by Saiko as he concentrated on once again brining up his chakra then, moving it around in his system. The chakra would continue to be pushed around for a moment. As soon as the boy had enough chakra moving around, he would slowly lay off it. His chakra would then slowly start to settle in the different places in the chakra system until it was completely set. Saiko decided that his next training would be best done outside as he wanted to train the different bloodlines that he had. So, the boy would stand up, rolling up the scroll he was using as he did. Then with a quick pace he’d walk outside, sliding the scroll back in its slot as he walked past. Saiko decided to work on Mokuton first as he found a place that was somewhat secluded from the main academy. Saiko would move his hands up to in front of his chest and perform a hand seal. ”Alright let’s do this.” With the hand seal set, he would start to pull up the different chakra elements in his system. Specifically, Doton and Suiton, the components of Mokuton. The boy would then start to mix the two elements to form the mokuton chakra. The chakra would then be pushed towards Saiko’s hands, using the chakra to form a wooden spear in his hand. The boy would then take the spear and throw it at a dummy. For the next technique Saiko would need a dummy. So, he walked over to a few of them and put one in a knelt position. The boy would then take a few steps away from the dummy, so he was about five feet away from it. Saiko then brought his hands back up and performed another hand seal. The chakra in his system would once again be mixed to make the mokuton chakra just as he had done before. However, this time he pushed the chakra through his feet and into the ground where he would control it and use the chakra to cause wood to start to grow out of the ground. It would raise up in a straight pillar then move into a semi-circle around the dummy’s head. Spikes would come from the pillar directed at the dummy’s head. Another jutsu completed. The next Jutsu that Saiko decided to try would likely be slightly more useful to him in the future. Another hand seal would be flashed as the boy thought on how exactly to try the jutsu as it could potentially be difficult. At least harder than the previous jutsu he was doing. The boy used the hand seal to once again mix his chakras and make the mokuton chakra that he needed. He would then direct this chakra to his right shoulder. ’Is this gonna hurt?’ The boy asked himself as he used his chakra to change his own very cells in his shoulder into wood that would grow outward and into a human shaped body with the same dimensions as himself. Saiko looked over at the clone of himself as the wood finished growing and it was a perfect clone of himself. He would then raise his right hand up to the clone and grip it, using his chakra to change its shape into a seed that he’d put into his pocket. Saiko was on a roll and he didn’t wanna stop. He could already feel himself getting stronger. The boy performed a hand seal with his left hand as he moved his right hand forward. His chakra would start to flow to his right hand as he focused. It was Mokuton Chakra like he had been practicing and becoming more adept at this point. As it hit his hand it would slowly grow out of his hand and into a triangular type shape. Once it was grown out, Saiko would flick his wrist. It would show that the triangular shape was an interlocking shield that he had grown out. Saiko smiled as he looked at it. The Next justu that Saiko was going to try to attempt would require more concentration as he had to use his chakra to envelope roots instead. So, the boy knelt on one knee and performed a hand seal with his left hand. His right hand would move to the ground in front of him. With the hand seal he would start to focus his mokuton chakra towards his right hand. The chakra would then be forced into the ground as it went to the nearest large root that he could find. Saiko took a deep breath as he used his chakra to envelope the root. As soon as he was ready his right hand would go into the dirt beneath him and grab the root. He would then pull it directly out of the ground in front of him. However, he would quickly put it back as to not a destroyed area to work with. Saiko was happy about his progress so far. It seemed like he was making a lot of it as he continued forward. However, he wasn’t done yet. He wanted to learn a lot more before he introduced himself to the Kazekage. The boy took a breather for a moment and wiped away his sweat. He would the same hand seal that he had been. ”A C-Rank. Hopefully this is just as easy.” He’d say to himself as he pulled his chakra together. Then, he would send it to his feet, pushing into the ground and around him. The boy would then use the chakra to start to grow wood pillars around him, each growing to be about his height. The boy would then use his chakra to control the wooden pillars, moving them around a bunch to see how much he could move them. It seemed they had free movement but, didn’t go very far. The Jutsu that Saiko had just performed would transfer well into the next one he wanted to try as it had the same rudimentary concepts. Saiko would hold the same hand seal and start to focus his chakra once again. He would build up the same amount of Mokuton chakra as his last jutsu. Then he would force it through his feet and into the ground in front of him. However, this time the chakra would start to grow roots out of the ground. The roots would move so that they wrapped around each other. This would continue as Saiko focused on building the wall that the roots were becoming. Saiko would get up from his knelt position in order to get ready for his next justu. A hand seal would be flashed as Saiko concentrated his chakra. The mixing of the chakra was important as he had to make sure the ratio of doton to suiton was perfect to make Mokuton instead of Shoton like he was capable of. However, he was pretty good at it. As soon as he had enough chakra built up he would move it to his right arm. He would use the chakra to change the cell composition in his entire arm. This would cause his arm to turn into a small tree. The boy would then use the chakra that he had to grow out branches from the tree, sending the branches flying forward to wrap around a dummy and pick it up then drop it. The branches would come back to the tree as his arm slowly returned to normal. ”Better be careful around fire with that.”

The tree arm went back to his normal arm. As soon as it was back to normal he wanted to go onto the next technique in his list. It was a henge jutsu something he was used to but, it was known to be a better version. So, Saiko used a hand seal with his left hand, building up the chakra that he had in his system. As he built up the chakra he’d use some of it to start to build wood around his body. He had his father in mind when making the wooden suit around his body as it was someone he was familiar with. The wood would completely cover him as it makes a perfect replica of his father. As this was happening he’d use some chakra to make a puff of smoke to cover him while the transformation happened. There was only one other part of the jutsu he had to try. ”Hello… Hello… Hello…” He would repeat over and over as he used chakra to adjust his voice to try and fit that of his father’s eventually getting it. ”Go to your room Saiko! No ramen for you!” He’d mock, giggling slightly before opening the wooden costume and leaving it.

Saiko decided that it was time to move onto to one of his other elements that he can produce. After a moment of thinking he decided to work on his Ranton. Saiko would be able to use his mokuton for the first one. The boy would make a hand seal and start to form a wooden clone from himself. However, as the clone was produced from his body he would add a film of Ranton chakra on top of it. The clone would move in front of Saiko when he was done making it. Saiko would then control the film of chakra on the clone to affect the light waves that were hitting it. With some fine tuning he would make the clone look as it if were bigger than it was. When he was done he allowed the clone to return to normal wood and dissipate.

The next jutsu would likely be good if he needed to make a distraction or get the attention of people in a room. Saiko brought his left hand up to his chest and used it to start to focus chakra in his right hand. The chakra would specifically be focused in his palm, making a bubble of condensed air. He would walk forward and slap the clone he was using for his previous jutsu with his right hand. As the bubbled contacted the clone it would burst causing a loud thundering noise to be emitted. It would spread far as Saiko pushed it further with his chakra. It would be loud enough to cause the clone to go deaf and for all sound in the area to be overwhelmed by the thunder. However, it would quickly pass.

The boy moved on quickly as he knew there was something going on in the village and wished to help but, he couldn’t without knowledge of basic jutsus. The boy used his left hand as always to start to focus chakra. As he did this his right hand would move up in front of him. His hand fashioned in a way that it looked as if he was holding a small ball with his fingertips. In between his fingertips, where the “ball” would be, a small cloud started to form as he focused his chakra. Saiko would then slowly pull his hand back much like you would for a sling. Once his arm was bent in about a nighty degree angle, he would open his fingertips. Once his fingertips opened, the cloud ball would shoot forward, however it wasn’t alone as four of the clouds went flying forward to hit a tree. A few moments would pass before each of the balls expanded, covering the tree in a cloud that conducted electricity to it.

Saiko used the same concept for his next jutsu. The boy pulled his left hand up and formed a hand seal. The boy would then focus chakra in front of him. At first it would take a moment to mix the chakra the way it needed to be to produce the desired effect. In front of him a cloud would start to form. It started out small but, as Saiko focused it would grow larger to the size of himself. Once it was his size he would continue to focus chakra to send electricity through the cloud. The moment it had a current running through it, he would move his right hand up to it. His hand would press against almost as it were solid then he would push the cloud, moving it forward a slow pace.

His right hand would fall back to his side as he kept the hand seal ready with his left hand. The boy would use the hand seal to start to focus chakra to his chest area. As he focused, a film of chakra would spread around his chest. The film would grow thicker until it was about a half an inch thick. For good measure, Saiko pulled out one of his kunai with his right hand and attempted to pierce the chakra barrier. However, as soon as the kunai hit it, it would be stopped. However, Saiko wasn’t finished with this jutsu. He used his hand seal to focus his chakra further, spreading the barrier all over his body. This would be useful against a variety of things.

The next justu would require a different set of focus as it was to change the weather around him. The boy went on to focus his chakra, sending it out into the area surrounding him. It wasn’t a large area but, it was the most that he could manage. With the chakra in the air, he would start to use it to condense the very little moisture in the air. As the chakra condensed the moisture, it would cause clouds to start to form high up in the air. Time would pass as Saiko continued to force the chakra into the air and condensed more of the moisture. It would take some time as there was very little moisture in this arid desert. However, eventually he would have a good over cast that were a dark grey. Minutes would pass before the clouds started to drop heavy droplets of rain on the academy. Saiko didn’t mind the rain and wouldn’t allow it to stop him from training. After all, he was the one that caused it to happen. The area had visibly darkened but, Saiko was ready to make it darker. Both is hands would raise in front of him. As soon as they were up, Saiko immediately started to focus chakra towards his palms. The chakra would build and mix for a moment as he concentrated. However, soon after black clouds would start to form and spread from both of his hands. His continued concentration was key to the jutsu as the clouds spread rapidly. They were a pitch-black color and made it so that it was extremely hard for anyone to see through his clouds, except for him of course. The area that Saiko was in would soon be covered completely in the black clouds. However, he was far enough from the academy that it wouldn’t bother the people there.

Now that Saiko had learned another Ranton technique, he decided he might as well move on to Shoton and learn some of that. The boy thought for a moment and decided to go with something basic to start. He would raise his left hand up to his chest, starting to prepare for the next jutsu. A hand seal would be made, and he would start to focus his chakra. He had to make sure he was making Shoton as it was important to not to make a mistake and have Mokuton. Once he was certain that he had produced that chakra that was necessary he would send it through his feet and into the ground. The chakra would then be moved into a circle around him. With this chakra, he would start to grow crystal out of the ground in a rapid pace. It would grow continuously until it made a dome surrounding him.

The next jutsu would have more of an offensive usage. Saiko held the same hand seal, focusing the chakra around him. As he focused, some of the air around him would start to crystalize. As the crystals formed around him, it would become obvious soon enough that they were becoming shuriken. However, it would take him a minute to get the shape just right as he focused. There would be about six shuriken floating around him once he was finished producing them. With a push from his chakra he would send all the shuriken flying forward with a deadly accuracy. Each one of them would hit the dummy in front of him. ”Hmm could be useful.” He said to himself.

Saiko would allow the dome that surrounded him to break down so that he could leave it. The boy would produce another series of hand seals with his left hand, focusing his chakra with them. Once the series of hand seals was complete, crystals would start to form around him once again. However, this time it would in a circle that started from under his feet and went above him. It would be like a hamster wheel of sorts. The boy would need to test it to make sure that it was strong enough to withstand the pressure of and friction that it would withstand. The boy would walk at first, the wheel starting to spin as he walked. It would quickly start to pick up speed and as it did, so did Saiko. Eventually Saiko would be going at a full out run. Now was time for the true test as he approached a small pond. The circle would hit the pond and would manage to stay above water as planned. This was a massive relief to Saiko as he didn’t want to sink. Once he was across the pond he would step out of the circle.

The next jutsu would be needed mostly for a more advanced technique later one. Saiko decided he might as well try it now so that he wouldn’t have to worry about it later. The boy would slowly start to perform another strain of hand seals. As the hand seals were made, crystal would start to form in front of Saiko. These were of a much more reflective variety than previous times. The crystals would continue to form, slotting into each other. As they were pushed together, Saiko’s reflection would become more and more apparent until his entire form was showing in the snow flake shaped crystal. It acted as a mirror. That much as apparent but, it was a much needed jutsu for later. Not only that but, with some of his chakra he made the mirror turn invisible.

The mirror would become visible once again as Saiko wanted to use it for its reflective nature in his next jutsu. He would go through a series of hand seals with his left hand as he had done so many times previously. However, he would accidently mess up and must start the strain of hand seals once again. As he redid the seals, crystals would start to form on his arm. It would start on his fore arm, slowly building up as he focused his chakra. Eventually it would make a blade that was formed on his fore arm. It was a fairly straight forward jutsu to use as it was mostly just building the crystal in the form of a blade. He’d shrug softly as the blade dissipated since he was done with and no longer needed it.

Saiko’s next justu on his list would be yet another offensive jutsu. Its main purpose was to make thin needles that would be launched forward to puncture a target. Generally thin enough to make sure people wouldn’t be able to see it coming. The boy would go through the hand seals needed for the technique. This time he would make sure to go slightly slower, so he wouldn’t mess up the first time and would get it perfect. As the hand seals were made, he would concentrate his chakra in front of him. In thin air crystals would start to condense. They slowly started to make a long and sharp needle that was easily a foot long. It would take a minute to get the needle to the correct size and shape. However, as soon as he had it to the needed shape and size, he would use his chakra to force it forward. This sent the needle flying at a high speed towards a dummy, tearing through it and landing in a wall behind it. ”Better be more careful.”

Saiko realized more defensive jutsu would be good as well as they can mean the difference between life and death. One of the jutsus that he could learn had to do with placing crystal all over his body. The crystal transparent enough that only those with a Dojutsu would be able to see it. It had the same concept as a ranton jutsu he had learned earlier. The boy brought up his hands and went through the hand seals. This time he would go over them a couple times as to get the muscle memory set, so he could do it faster when needed. Once the hand seals were complete a thin layer of chakra would start to spread all over Saiko’s body. It would take focus to force the chakra to spread all over his body. As it spread, crystal would start to form over his body. It started slow but, as the chakra spread, the crystals would grow faster until it was covering his entire body. The color was slightly off so, he focused his chakra to force the crystals to become transparent.

The armor would stay on Saiko as he continued to his next jutsu. The jutsu was mostly used to form a mass amount of shuriken to use to attack. It was a rather simple concept, so he decided to get started. The boy started by performing the hand seals. He would do it several times in order get them down. Each time he did the hand seals he would go faster and faster. The final time he did the hand seals he would spread chakra into the air around him. The chakra would go out in about a thousand small balls. Each ball would start to become a hexagonal shape, forming shuriken as the air crystalized. Saiko continued to focus, having to manipulate the multiple balls to form the shuriken. Soon enough Saiko was surrounded by thousands of Shuriken. As soon as the last shuriken had been formed, he would send all of them forward into a wall.
Saiko watched as the shuriken implanted themselves into the wall. As he watched them he started to conceptualize the next justu and how to do it. It was somewhat like the blade justu from earlier where he made a blade off his forearm but, here he would be making a spear on his entire arm. The boy went ahead and practiced the hand seals as he thought. Once he had it all planned out, he went through the hand seals. Then, he would start to focus chakra to his arm, covering his arm in it. Then he would start crystalizing the air with the chakra. This would cause his arm to start to become covered in chakra. Eventually his entire arm would be covered but, the air wouldn’t stop crystalizing as it extended from his arm and into a spike off his forearm. Once it was complete, he would shake his arm a bit, breaking away the crystals with his chakra.

The next jutsu was almost exactly like the other shuriken jutsu he had just learned with slight differences. Mainly the shape and that you didn’t produce them all at the same time but, rather as you needed them. The hand seals also changed slightly. So, the boy went over the hand seals slowly, making the alteration in the strain of hand seals to make sure that he didn’t mess up and do the wrong jutsu. Once he was confident enough that he had the correct seals down he would go onto doing the jutsu. The hand seals were made. Once they were finished chakra would spread out into the air all around him. The chakra would condense the air and crystalize it. However, the crystals didn’t form together like the previous jutsu. Instead crystal would float all around him. Then, Saiko would focus his chakra to bring some of the crystals together. The crystals would form a shuriken of the normal size before a push of chakra sent the shuriken forward. Saiko would repeat this process several times, eventually forming multiple shuriken at a time to send them flying towards the wall he was practicing on. The boy continued to do this until he figured he had enough practice with it.

Once again Saiko knew he was gonna need a dummy for the next jutsu. The boy walked over to one and stared at it for a moment. It would be good enough. He focused on it as he went through the different hand seals for the jutsu, practicing them multiple times as he had gotten into the habit of doing. The boy focused hard as this jutsu would require it. Once he had practiced the hand seals enough to get the combination just right he did the hand seals once again. This time he’d spread chakra out towards the dummy. It would quickly envelope the dummy and from the bottom of it, Crystal would start to form. The crystal completely covered the dummy as it the air around it and the inside of the dummy crystalized. Eventually making it all the way to the top of the Dummy’s head. Once at the top, Saiko moved back and quickly kicked the dummy, causing the entire thing to break. The dummy being destroyed in the process.

Once Saiko was done with his training he decided to start searching for pumpkins. The boy searched around the academy for a while until he figured that there was none left to find. Perhaps he could come back later for a better look but, for now he was just going to do a quick sweep over the village. For now he'd leave the academy.

Chances were all the good stuff was taken from the academy but that didn't mean that the eyes of the ever vigilant Kyomei wouldn't be able to find what may have been missed. And this is just what she did! Much to her surprise she found another pumpkin. Perhaps it was her innate attraction to the super natural that aided her quest. Another shakey shake and a shudder ran down her spine. Was hunting these pumpo's really that good of an idea.

Ranging up to Eight feet in diameter. The rings can be freely controlled by the wielder using the staff as a conduit to direct them. (5-Chakra Per Ring. A Total of 40 Chakra For 8: Rings must be sustained whilst in flight.) The rings are then often intended to place a target in their vacant center and contract immediately to restrict the target. A unfathomably powerful blast that could decimate an entire village if fired downward from the sky shoots forward. However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. The option for this technique to cause mass amounts of damage and destruction is possible but is considered Taboo in all accounts and doing so would destroy the weapon and make it's wielder unfit to ever wield another Keihatsu ever again. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. This was only discovered when a former Keihatsu user asking for purity [Shin] to be engraved on the weapon by a blacksmith was accidently replaced with [Shi] the result was labeled in history as [The Black Tragedy]. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.

Noragnir Wolfsttag Genin / Bukijutsu / Worker
Noragnir frowned as he settled into a chair within the Academy setteling his maul next to him frustration on his face. He needed the Kage's permission to start training, but the Kage had not arrived along with the flood of people who had been hunting pumpkins. "I should have perhaps gone after more, but what would I have done if I found the one responsible I only know academy basics." He growled as he sat back closing his eyes deciding to get a bit of rest as he waited for the Kage.
From her visit in the shopping district to collect pumpkins Sadayo had stuck around longer than expected simply because puppets were on her mind again. Some changes came to mind about what to do with her weapons and the only way to go about with said changes was to work.
A total of seven pumpkins and one, mystery bronze key was in her possession. Not much she could do with squash and a key aside from all them to take up bag space.
When Sadayo arrived to the academy to work she began the process of locating space. A plot to work wasn't a hard task but to be in plain sight would give away her mechanisms. I want them to have to find me with x-ray vision or something... In her hand, was a scroll to summon the first puppet she wanted to work on. The red scroll with a simplistic, angry face which was laughably similar to one she saw on a presumable ninja's face who looked pestered by something as she walked by.
Where is everyone? Out jumping about for squash still?

Before they left for the market, Taylor wanted to get some last minute practice in with Horus. The two had no trained together in a while, so it felt relevant to get some ninjutsu training completed. They trained in Korabo, as well as advance blade manipulation for Taylor, and Shadow Clones for Horus.
Taylor readied himself for more chakra training. After all, if he was going to train with Nariomi, then he was going to need all of the energy he could muster. He figured he might as well also bolster up his stamina as well. He was going to need both of them in order to properly keep up with the others.
Taylor swung around his chain scythe first and foremost. It was his most useful weapon. Taylor threw both the bladed end and the weighted end. Both of them were shot around. He had to be worked upon. After he fired a few rounds of them he then went off to wrapping his chain scythe around various targets. Taylor did not stop until he felt himself begin to tire.
It was then that he switched to ninjutsu. Taylor channeled chakra into his weapon which allowed him to mystically levitate kunai from his pouch. He was able to have them spiral around him as they then flew straight into the air. They arced around and then turned until they were parallel to the ground and flying toward Taylor. It was then that Taylor once again molded chakra through his weapon and not his hands in order to make a shield of thunder clouds. The shield blocked the attack and saved him from the assault.
Finally, Taylor practiced everything. Chakra, stamina, both. He was not going to finish the day without being proficient in all styles of combat. As a mixed fighter, it felt important to do so. He needed to be ready for any challenge which confronted him. With each drop of sweat he pushed himself further. Finally, he decided to sit down and take a break. He had enough.
Now that Taylor was resting, however, he needed to meditate. Taylor performed handseals in a rhythmic fashion as he allowed his mind to drift. His body instinctually practiced molding chakra without thought. It didn’t take him much to drift into meditation. He was especially tired after all of the exercise he performed.
Taylor’s mind drifted. His head was clear blackness at first. Nothing was involved in his thought. It was after he drifted for a bit, however, that shapes began to take shape. He found himself standing in the realms of his own mind. Here, he felt at peace.
On the outside, however, his body continued to form handseals. They formed all of the familiar signs and even a few of the ones which were unknown to him all of those months ago. Taylor’s eyes was closed and his body was relaxed. Although he was sitting upright, a feather could knock him over.
His mind started to return to him. His thoughts slowly returned to actual cohesion. He opened his eyes. His handseals ceased. For the moment, he was ready to resume. He had meditated enough.
Taylor resumed his training. He started with techniques which required both chakra and stamina. A nearly endless supply of his chain was generated as the weighted ends flew in all directions. They latched onto various things as Taylor broke the illusion and then pulled up and down on his chain. Chakra flowed through the weapon and caused an explosion at the point of collision.
His weapon flowed through his hands. The chains flew from one arm to the next. In mere moments he was throwing his chain. Then, as he passed the obstacle of his choice, he gave his scythe a hard pull so that the bladed end stuck into the obstacle. Chakra then channeled into his fingers as a bolt of lightning fired off at the target. The explosion allowed him to release his weapon as it flew skillfully back into his hand.
Taylor continued his training. More techniques were used. His formless now was in use. Taylor swung the chains in ways no style ever taught him. He had done this kind of fighting for months now. It was easier to move on his own than have to recall everything he learned all of those moons ago.
Finally, Taylor continued his barrage of ninjutsu. Temporary body paralysis was used to its absolute potential. All of his jutsu were. By the end, he was exhausted. He sat down and took a breath. He felt that his talents have improved.

Practically stumbling into the academy Lahlil checked around to see if see could find anyone around, and though it seemed as though there were certainly people around. There was neither lick nor hair of her teammates to be seen anywhere. Lahlil gripped the neck of her her sweater once more, a nervous habit of hers that she often displayed when frightened. Oh marbles.. how long was I out for? And how did I end up in that dirty cave? Very much pretending that everything was well and dandy, Lahlil tentatively shuffled through the building and decided the best course of action was to sit and bury her nose in some reading. After all when you've awoken feeling lost the best thing to do is to go back to where you were previously as that will be the first place others will search right? Gently pulling off some scrolls out of their respectively shelves, Lahlil found the fluffiest chair she could find and began reading. Her diminutive form sinking easily in the chair and was almost consumed by it even.
Halfway through her reading Lahlil had struggled to shift her chair, out of some misplaced fear that perhaps someone wouldn't be able to see her from where they entered. But even after reading through a few new jutsu and a couple of fairy tales no one had came and Lahlil had started to face the reality that no one was looking for her. A sigh fell from her lips and Lahlil picked up another scroll that she had left off earlier. If she was to be alone here she may as well study to pass the time, she did after all have no where else to be. A simple thing Lahlil filled her hand with chakra, an ability that she found was quickly coming in handy. Until at last she could feel it pulsating through her finger tips. [1/2] Finishing the first part of the effect Lahlil figured it was time to test it out. Reaching for a nearby book, Lahlil let loose her chakra so that it would be released into he object in question. For the most part it seemed as though she had completed the technique successfully on her first try. Holding the book in her hand she could feel that it's weight had reduced dramatically. A useful ability considering that she wasn't exactly the most built shinobi out there. [2/2] Keijuugan no Jutsu [ Light Weight Rock Technique ]
Looking out a nearby window Lahlil had found that she had actually been reading for nearly the entire rest of the day. Darkness had began it's claim over the dunes of her village and Lahlil herself found that she really cared for nothing else except sleep at the moment. Pulling her knees up to her chest, the girl found at least a small comfort in her own warmth as she drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

Masato continued to scour the village, finally, his crimson gaze set upon Sadayo. "Yo." he said, calling out to her from behind with a single raised hand for a wave. He wondered if she was still timid towards him after the competition...after shukkaku. He really wasn't overly concerned about it. " Nariomi-Sensei said you need to report to the Kazekage's house" He shifted his Sharingan stare from down upon her back to the dojo in the distance. It was almost time for them to be setting off on their adventure. He needed to prepare himself. His eyes would shift back to their normal hue, having only needed them to seek out her chakra. Without so much as another word he turned, walking towards the house himself. While he had begun this endeavor, he had created a shadow clone to do some of his training before setting off to see Nari.
Masato wanted to begin by practicing his chakra control by practicing the various hand seals. Tiger, dragon, rat, and the others were formed by his hands over and over again. He would control his breathing with calm inhales and exhales at a steady, repetitive pace.
As he practiced the hand signs he moved around his chakra for extra control. He continued his breathing as he did so. He could feel this energy moving throughout his system. Eventually, he would settle his chakra before commencing another round of chakra movement.
His focus increased as he felt himself making progress on his chakra control. This was an area he wasn't so naturally gifted in as a taijutsu user who uses only some ninjutsu, but practice always helps the inexperienced ninja. He formed another round of handsigns as his chakra settled again.
Another round of hand seals were performed as he folded his fingers into the different shapes. He felt the power stirring through him and he found it rather addicting. Once again he settled his chakra, feeling a greater sense of his own power.
Once more he practiced the hand signs and began the movement of chakra through his internal chakra network. As the chakra moved through him he began to sweat a little before he allowed it to settle again. Now he felt a greater sense of control as well as an increased pool of chakra.

He felt that he had deepened his knowledge of chakra, but he would continue.
Masato commenced his second round of meditation by beginning his steady breathing exercises. Inhale, exhale, in, out, calmness began to wash over him as the anxiety vanished. He could feel his chakra begin to move a little bit as he performed his breathing.
Once the breathing began he started to stretch his fingers and form all of the hand seals in order in a steady fashion. As his fingers formed the various shapes he felt himself gain a little more control over his chakra. He continued to fold his hands into the hand seals as his chakra movement began to intensify.
Now that his chakra was in full motion and the hand seals allowed him more control he began to sweat. The chakra flowed through his body at various points as he attempted to gain control. Once he could not physically handle more chakra movement he settled it.
With more breathing and hand sign performance he moved his chakra through his body some more. The movement felt much stronger than before and he used all of his concentration to manage it. The chakra finally settled in his core again.
Masato certainly felt a difference after several minutes of meditation, but it felt as though mere seconds passed because he was so tuned it. It was a similar sensation to feeling in flow when designing a new puppet, painting, or performing a song as the time just flew by. He moved his chakra throughout his entire network with much greater precision. After many more moments he exhaled triumphantly as his settled chakra pool grew.

Continuing, he would work on his control during active motions, requiring chakra and stamina to be utilized in motion.
The first technique the sensei from long ago had instructed upon was Shishi Ashi, Lion's Paw. With an open fist and clenched fingers, resembling a paw with ones hand, Masato would thrust his hand outward, rotating it horizontally as it came to its maximum reach. Its swift retraction would cause a whipping sound from the sleeve of his jacket. Upon a flesh target the rotation of the hand in such a manner would be quite painful.

After several dozen repetitions of the technique, Shishi Ashi, the instructor would begin combining this single powerhouse strike into swift combinations, striking multiple times on a single foe. This technique is known as Tora no Kobushi, Tiger Fists. This technique would increase in its volley size for each increased application of stamina one could exert upon it, resulting in a potential onslaught of rapid strikes.
With the completion of these complex techniques, he felt his bodily control grow once more.
Hanako Kurama, a recent graduate of the Sunagakure Academy, and fledgling genin kunoichi found herself on the Academy grounds this particular day. It was the perfect spot for training her skills with genjutsu, but particularly her mastery of the Sakkakugan. The fearsome abilities to see life energy, seal off kekkai genkai, and bring genjutsu to a new realm of ferocity were traits she needed if she were to impress her Kage and be made worthy of further training and mission assignments. The techniques she would develop here would be the foundation, like Senkou no Jaku, the Flash of Weakness.
The Flash of Weakness was a skill that involved using the Sakkakugan's powers to seal down Doujutsu of those who look into it's green flash of light emitted from her gaze. "Hmm, chakra manipulation involving the eyes. First things first, she activated her Sakkakugan, letting the glow of chakra manifest in her eyes as the creepy, red doujutsu manifest itself. Then, by focusing and directing her chakra to her eyes, Hanako let her gaze grow intensely on the stalwart wooden training partner, before a dark green flash of light erupted from her gaze. It would surmise to assume that the Flash of Weakness's performance was a success, and that book learning had given her an edge. The training area of the Academy also proved to be useful, having given her the tools on which to train and perfect her skills with greater ease.

The next technique Hanako would practice was a unique ability, to those who had the Sakkakugan, to create clones that have tenketsu, or chakra networks, making them harder for those who utilize sensory techniques such as the Byakugan to discern reality from illusion. It was not a hard technique for her to master given her prowess with genjutsu as it stood. With a single hand-sign for normal clones, Hanako activated her Sakkakugan's power and created a single copy of herself, but if one were to analyze it further using sensory abilities, a complete chakra network could be seen inside of it. This required a little more effort and practice in and of itself as she dismissed the initial clone, and then made the seal again. There was no excuse to not practice a technique and make sure that it was perfect in every way. Sacred Detainment Does Work on Jinchuuriki but to a lesser extent only being treated as one X-ranked amount less and only stripping them of their [ Demon Techniques and Benefits ] equal to the amount of rings detaining them. Rings can be destroyed by an ability one rank higher than the X-rank of rings used or if there are three strength descriptives or higher when against a similar ranking technique.
Hanako Kurama, a recent graduate of the Sunagakure Academy, and fledgling genin kunoichi found herself on the Academy grounds this particular day.
