Bast watched as the Genin scampered off toward the Gates with a slight look of disdain. She switched to a look of questioning confusion when she looked at Mamoru, but disappeared without seeking an answer. The shadows in the trees followed shortly thereafter, leaving without a sound.

Appearing in a cloud of dust, San called forth his Iron sand. He was going to practice a little until Six wanted to train him in Maruton again.

San Bowed his head. He knew he needed it. Although he didnt battle physically hard, he knew his mind would need the rest. He had a few ideas he wanted to play around with his magnetic ability, as well as a few expiriments he wanted to run. He had an idea of a rather interesting jutsu that could very well be one just for him. So san spoke up to Six before he ran out.

"Yes sensei, ill go relax for a little. But i wanna learn some more jutsu. My bloodline technique is powerful, but.....what if i run into someone who has the same ability? I need to be better prepared."

San grabbed his things, hoping that Six kept his golem handy so he could grab it and put his incompleted work in his Burden golem. He didnt need it now, but it was on his extensive to do list. Wiping some sweat off his brow, the Satetsu ran off to the hot springs.

Returning once again, the gennin and his drive intent to learn hit the training once again. He had a few ideas to play with his bloodline, and could maybe get a tip or two from anyone watching. The gennin pulled his iron sand from his Burden golem and formed a cloud in front of him. He thought first about starting with a new shape, and would work to his full idea later. One by one, the cloud started to form spikes as well as condense into a orb turning his iron sand into a car sized spiekd wrecking ball. Much like a mideaval mace.

Taking his shape and turning it into a cloud, the gennin instead expanded the orb but made 5 rows of spikes fall to the earth, extending smaller spikes off of the original rows. Although not perfect, San was beggining to see the use of this jutsu.

San pulled the sand back into its original cloudand was going to focus on the speed of the technique rather then the distance. He needed to learn to concentrate and form his idea quickly as to not let his prey escape. The same 5 spikes, though in a different location now, quickly made their way to the ground and the extension spikes expanded rather quickly too. So he learned how to concentrate the move, now it was time to imrpove it.

Slowing the technique down, but greatly increasing its range, San created a three demensional world of spikes. this time it was about 15 pillars of dense sand that formed spikes that rained down and even more extended off of those. Although he formed it rather slowly, it was nearly impossible for something to be near or in this latice that was not harmed by his spikes at all. Not only that, he had anoter idea for this move too...

Now that he had the formation down, now all he had to do was increase its speed. Although it sounded easy, it was much more difficult that that. Like all things, this formation needed to be perfect in order for it not to be a waiste of time, practice, and energy. San practiced just the formation of spike collumms and other spikes for a while, going to could then spikes, cloud then spikes until her felt like he could practice it on the go.

San condensed his iron sand into a cloud again, and was going to get his last stationary time of trying this jutsu. Once in the cloud, the spikes shot down in what looked much like a lightning storm formation in how they fell and formed. It was quite an impressive sight, especially for San to realize what he had just accomplished. Although it was powerful, he needed to see how he could do it in combat.

Pretending like he was fighting at close range, San threw a quick set of punches and round kicks, letting his latice of sand condense once again into its cloud like form. It moved around like a pack of bees, swarming to serve as a "destraction" or doing possible jutsu at this time. Once the gennin visualized his attacker repositioning themselves he made his cloud form over his "target" and his lighnig strike spike latice feel apon him. The distance was easly keeping spikes around the target for at least 10 feet or so, making it an effective attack. Smiling, San moved his sand back into its cloud formation.

San's next idea involved alot of concentration, but was rather simple in idea. In fact, he thought to himself about why he had not thought of it before. His first attempt would be to form his cloud of Iron Sand into a wall of spikes, thinly concentrating them for maximun density, number, and penitration.

One by one, San shot his spikes into the ground trying to make it look like a pin cushion. He was still in the developmental stages of practice this art, and could tell that he needed it.

Once all the needles had fallen, the gennin pulled them up, condensed and made their numbers more, and began to fire them again at a faster rate.

Once again San pulled all the needles out of the ground and formed his cloud. This time however, he also pulled more Iron sand out of the ground. he could feel the pull on his mind, but he would get used to it. Makeing the now numerous spikes bigger, sand quickly fired each on down to the ground trying to be as accurate and percise as he could.
