The sound of bodies shuffling could be hear from Hikaru's field of vision - being nothing but the floor. "Y-Yoshi! Are you okay!?" Knowing her friend's courage, Yoshi was likely putting a major beat down on that manly monster right now. Though his laughing was not convincing of that fact. Hikaru peeked out from her totally (not) protective shell to witness Yoshi in action. She too was very brave, her very actions a contradiction to the claims she made only mere moments ago. Yes, Yoshi-chan! Beat that manly monster. Show him the error of his ways! The young Hakemoto watched on, awestruck and inspired by Yoshi's display of courage and tenacity. Until the manly monster pulled a fast on her. W-wah!? A situation that appeared to be in Yoshi's favor was easily maneuvered around by the much larger, manly monster, reversing the entire situation.
"YOU WILL NOT TOUCH YOSHI-CHAN!" These words came out of Hikaru quicker than she had realized she was up and out of her protective ball, running towards the two wielding... a wooden spoon? It is unknown whether the inspiration from Yoshi's actions caused this, or the sight of her friend being in 'danger', but it was quite uncharacteristic of her in its entirety. "Let. Her. Go! Let. Her. Go! Let-her-go-you-meanie-manly-monster! Hyaaaaah!"Tonk! Tonk! Tonk! Tonk! Tonk-tonk-tonk-tonk-tonk! Her spoon-arm swatted away at the manly monster's shoulder with incredible speed, bearing very insignificant strength behind each blow. He may have felt something if she managed to get multiple hits in the same spot, but it was unlikely given the unfocused, frantic nature of the action. "Messing with people by scaring them!? What is wrong with you, mean, manly monster!? That's not very nice at all!" The light, repetitive 'tonking' sound of the wooden spoon had not ceased, and was now accompanied with her sobbing. "T-that wasn't very nice of you... ba-huh." The flailing of the spoon began to slow to a stop, as Hikaru looked dead at the ground, full of gloom, embarrassment, and a near-heart attack. A sniffle, followed by a sigh, the Hakemoto admitted defeat.

Yoshi grimaced as she felt that arm slid, at the same time, her right hand reached to kunai the moment that hand was at the back of her neck and she attempted to stab him by moving her right arm to his right side but he was slick and quick, moving her around easily like it was nothing and she was extremely uncomfortable. His laugh was unnerving but it wasn't a cold laugh... could he be a psychopath? Maybe schizopath.. Damn it. Yoshi knew she needed to pay attention during medical classes but it didn't interest her at the time. Now would've been rather handy. Yoshi heard Hikaru scream after him, "Hikaru, don't-" Too late. She could hear the clanging of the wooden spoon hitting his armor echoing down the hallway, it almost sounded like someone was hitting pots and pans but not as hollow. The noise stopped and she could feel the man's slow relaxation on her arm as she was less uncomfortable.
He released her as she was spun around to face him, facing a heavily hooded male, he was pale enough that she can almost see his features and the unmistakably white hair. Her lips curved into a frown. She was... sensing something but she didn't know what. This caused her to be flabbergasted. In frustration, she tucked the kunai back into her leg strap. Whatever she was sensing was something new and different and it was frustrating her. Remembered that she was asked for her name, she glared at him for a moment, still a bit upset as she turned her head to check on her friend when she heard a sniffle. "Hikaru. You surprised me. Perhaps there is a flame inside you that just needed to be shown." She gently placed her hand on Hikaru's arm in a reassurance way as she smiled towards her. With a cold glare at the hooded man before her, she removed her hand before crossing her arms, closing herself off to him. "I'm Yoshi Noroi. Recent graduate and was heading to the crevice to meet Lady Kazekage. We're getting our headbands. Why are you so oddly familiar?"
She didn't question about the dead body comment. Or why this man decided to torment her poor friend. No. What was on her mind that she excelled with high marks of sensory and was on her way to be one of the best sensor nin Sunagakure had ever seen and here it was, a man before her, with something ... 'off' that infuriated her.

Theo would hear the panicked girl yell before he felt soft thuds off his armor under his robe. Feeling Yoshi move to do something, he’d glance down and see the kunai, turning and pulling her off balance to force the attempted strike to fall short of hitting him. He didn’t want to have to get his robe mended if he could avoid it.chuckling to himself the whole time, he understood why Sanshi had had always messed with him as a genin, it was kind of fun to play around with the new blood.
Once he had let Yoshi go and the other girl stopped hitting his armor with that damn wooden spoon, Theo would push his hood back before crossing his arms over his broad chest inside the sleeves of his robe. Giving Yoshi a slight smile and a nodding kind of quick bow, Theo would actually talk normally for the first time since surprising the pair. “Nice to meet you, Yoshi.you could still use plenty of training, of course, but you got pretty decent fighting instinct for a rookie. As for you,” Theo would turn to the sniveling girl with the spoon, “haven’t gotten your name yet, but glad at least the thought of your friend in danger snapped you out of that panic and into some kind of defensive action..... a more ... effective weapon would probably be a good idea, though... I heard the impacts from that spoon against my armor way more than I felt them...” Theo would uncross his arms, brushing his robe open to reveal the sheer extent of armor he wore, as well as the pair of large swords on his hips.
At the question of who he was and why apparently he seemed familiar to the white haired girl, Theo chuckled slightly, “Well, I’m one of the main instructors for ninjutsu at the academy for genin and higher rankSuna shinobi, if that helps... name’s Theodin, Theodin Poe... I’m also a jounin of the village, if that helps any.” Theo would look the girl in the eyes, his heterochromic blue and green eyes staring into her blue (I think?) ones couldn’t help thinking she was cute when she was mad. “And ah, you’re looking to get your headbands? Well mom -“ he slapped himself on the forehead, a small clinking sound coming from the metal in his arm guard bumping the plate in his head and showing himself as a Suna shinobi himself. “Err... the Kazekage is out at the Crevice playing with Daichi, her partner. It’s been quiet around lately, so the big furball needs his exercise.” Theo would chuckle slightly and smile, “ I’ll walk with you to go see her, not sure how far past the gates she went this time, so it should make it easier to not have to deal with the guards.”

The skin on the inside of his forearms, if visible, is covered in small seals. Over all his armor, generally hiding it,he wears a baggy sleeved black robe with dark blue trim and a black armored cowl hood.

Yoshi's words cut through Hikaru's gloomy mood like sun rays breaking through dark clouds in the sky. "H-huh?" She looked to her friend, a mix of confusion and shock plastered on her face that did nothing to hide the light shade of pink upon her cheeks. Yoshi was capable of saying nice things - Hikaru wanted to believe that, even though most of what she had said to Hikaru since they've met was blunt, or contained criticism. This however, was something the aspiring chef was not expecting. That's the nicest thing she's ever said to me... She shook her head immediately after the thought. She was not deserving of such praise, she felt. Not from Yoshi. Whatever flame Yoshi thought she was seeing didn't exist. Hikaru was not a shinobi. Not like them. "Ayaya... I-I... It was nothing. I just didn't want to see you hurt. No flame, or anything. You're my friend. That's all." Her eyes settled on the floor once more, hands clutching the wooden spoon tightly, her body twisting back and forth in apparent nervousness where she stood.
The mean, manly monster gave praise to Yoshi for her reaction, while suggesting to Hikaru that she'd use an 'effective weapon' should a similar scenario arise. Well, the joke was on him: Hikaru didn't carry any 'actual weapons' on her person, but rather some basic kitchen utensils that were very special to her, as they were passed down from her father shortly before being sent to enroll into the Academy here. "A chef should always be prepared to improvise. Use what you have on hand, use your creativity, and make it work. Recipes are simply a guideline, not necessarily strict rules." She responded to the Jonin, reciting a lesson taught by her father without realizing it. Somehow this applied to what Theodin what saying, though the connection might've been lost to Yoshi and the Jonin both. "E-err... My name's Hikaru. I would have smacked you in the head with my wok, but I'd need a stepladder for that... Oh!" She gasped and nearly dropped her spoon when Theo revealed his sturdy armor and swords beneath his cloak. Hikaru doubted that she or Yoshi would stand a chance if he were really out to hurt them.
Theodin mentioned that he was a teacher for ninjutsu - something Hikaru struggled heavily with in class, like everything else. She was not looking forward to relearning the basics. He'd be better of teaching Yoshi and some of the other Genin who were more proficient at learning such things. As soon as Theodin mentioned the Kazekage having a dog (she assumed), Hikaru's eyes lit up. "A big furball, huh? Well we should get going, I'd like to meet the fluffy guy!"

Yoshi disagreed with Hikaru, "No Hikaru. There's more in you than you think." Now she was curious and she wanted to throw Hikaru in different situations like such as what would she do if a jutsu was hurling towards a citizen of Sunagakure? Yoshi was honestly a bit surprised when the male had smiled towards her and did a quick bow. She gave him a blank stare when he said that she needed more training, "I am a graduate after all, not..." She paused for a moment as if she was analyzing him. "Strong chakra. Maybe Jounin-level unless Lady Kazekage deemed you unworthy meaning possibly high-rank Chuunin. Bloodlines... Hyouton nad Ranton. Elements.. Raiton, Fuuton, and Suiton. It seems you have the ability to know some sealing therefore, maruton. Adept at Taijutsu and Bukijutsu." She started listing almost entirely many things about Theodin. She shook her head, "He's wrong. You can use the wooden spoon as a weapon. Break it in half and use the broken ends to pierce eyes, inside the ears, up the nose, even arteries. Also, you can use the curved of the spoon to stab at the right curve of the eyeball to abe able to scoop out someone's eyeball."Yoshi explained towards Hikaru, not knowing that Hikaru would be disturbed by the mental image of someone's eyeball. In a soup.
The white-haired male listed his name and sure enough, he was a jounin so she was right. She shook her head, "No. It's something else. Something I never sensed before. It's bothering me." She said matter of factly as if she wanted to let him know as if it was his fault that she's confused. He called the Kazekage his mother and she wondered if that was it. Maybe that's what was bothering her? She wasn't sure. Though she stared at him for a while. She was his mother? She didn't know Ayame of course but students had seen her in passing and whatnot. They were similar in ages so there was something else at work here. Hikaru seemed to perk up a bit at the idea of meeting a fluffball as she gazed over to her with a nod. She looked back at Theo, eye contact for a moment before turning and following her friend.

Theo would crook up an eyebrow when Yoshi started basically rattling off his village profile, smirking as she finished up. “A sensor-nin, not bad, kid...” he’d look at the other girl for a second, “she is technically right, Hikaru you could do that stuff using a wooden spoon as a weapon... but speaking from experience in the thick of combat, it’s not exactly easy by any means...maybe something like a meat cleaver or a decent chef’s knife would be more effective in more situations and used more easily.”
When Yoshi said something she sensed from him was bothering her, Theo looked at her confused. “Well, I have no idea there..... hope you can get it sorted out.” He’d say with a slight scoff. When they both mentioned finally getting along to see his mom, Theo nodded and set off with them, bringing up the rear of the small group. [exit with hikaru and yoshi]

Obstacles are like wild animals. They are cowards but they will bluff you if they can. If they see you are afraid of them... They are liable to spring upon you; but if you look them squarely in the eye, they will slink out of sight.
Kaori hummed softly as she and Nova strolled into the Kazekage's tower. She knew Ayame wasn't in, she was talking to Theo, and judging by the tone it was not good news; so she hoped her long time partner in crime and friend were both dealing with whatever it was alright. She didn't doubt that they would be alright over time, they were both strong; and not just in the sense of being able to kill with their bare hands. Plus, she would, and could, offer the support of a friend if they wanted or needed it. But that was enough speculation on a situation that didn't really seem to involve her. She wasn't blood after all.
The Leopard-Girl and actual Leopard strode up to the desk, where Sybil always seemed to be, and smiled at the woman, "Sybil! Beautiful and dutiful as always, Lady Ayame sent me here await her return so that I may report on my extended hunt, should I wait here, if you prefer, or head on up to her office? I have some.... gifts for her." Kaori would bare her sharp teeth in a toothy smile at the word 'gifts'. It was a well known fact that most gifts given from Kaori, like several given from Theo, were not for the faint of heart. But then, it was a good thing that their Kazekage could never be accused of such blasphemy.
Kaori blinked, surprised at her own moment of forgetfulness, and reached into her hair to pull out a single blue rose, and hand it Sybil, "I almost forgot I had a gift for you as well!" Kaori had worked hard to get that stupid thing to grow. Who knew blue was such a difficult color to produce in roses? Oh well, it was worth it, especially if she could get Sybil to smile. Nova padded over and flopped next to Sybil's desk, silently demanding pets even while pretending to ignore the woman, as if it were simply a coincidence that she was near her at all. Kaori snorted and rolled her eyes at her partner's antics.

Made her way over to the office, she heard Shukenja's growl in protest. "Because it's morally correct. I do not want to make things worse between Kumogakure and Sungakure." Hakanai spoke towards the snow leopard hybrid. Shukenja glared at her behind her as he let out a whiny grumble kind of groan. Hakanai rolled her eyes and ignored him as they may their way in. The tanned woman's hair went to stand on ends as they were able to smell the presence of another cat. For a brief moment, Hakanai's memory went to the funeral and she remembered seeing a woman there, with flowers and her tiger snow leopard. "Hmm." Hakanai paused, wondering if they would be friendly or if they needed to be cautious. She doesn't know if the woman was geographically angry kind of person or not. "Well-" She turned to look at Shukenja but he was gone.
Her lips curved down into a frown. "What....." Hakanai used her senses to run and find her companion.
Shukenja sniffed in the air and was following the trail. Then, the moment he saw her by the desk and the woman, a sound of the bowstring was struck, 'twinge!' and hearts popped above his head. Cupid's arrow had made the way through the thick fur and muscles, into his heart. Cautiously and not wanting to be maul or startled the giant lady, he lowered himself to the ground and scooted closer and closer towards the magnificent female cat. It was then, he miscalculated how massive his head was and landed faceplant onto the floor but he was smooth in personality [ or so he believes ] as he slid his face down, squeaking noises could be heard against the floor as his body comes in slow contact with the ground. When it does, he rose his head, he crossed his front paws, trying to show her him in all his glory and that he would bring forth wonderous kittens for her, he let out a low "Grrrowl." The hybrid rolled the r's and this was an attempt to get her attention, attempting to shake his mane. He said the actual word, growl, instead of growling.
Hakanai, at the end of the corridor, facepalmed as she was witnessing this. Her hands sticked out in front of her, palms facing towards Kaori and the secretary in relaxing manner, "I-I'm sorry. I never seen him like this..."

Sybil smiled up at Kaori and gave a soft giggle about he gift comment. I'm certain the Lady Kazekage will be pleased with your...gifts. She said before giving a small gasp at the blue rose. Oh my Lady Kaori this is beautiful. How did you even get it to get this bright of a blue!? She said putting her glasses down to take a closer look at the flower. It truly was beautiful. She should be heading back soon and Lady Nova it is of course always a pleasure to see your beautiful self. Sge said with a smile and a light petting on the large snow Leonard's head. When Sybil heard a noise she looked up and proceeded to go straight backed, even as the large hybrid of a cat came gallavanting into ger area to get to Nova. She raised an eyebrow and looked at the woman coming down the corridor, I did not realize you had stuck around after the funeral young woman. Does our Kazekage know you are still here? Ayame of course picked that moment to walk in with Daichi silently moving behind her. My dear Sybil you know me better than that. Kaori, I'm ready for your report whenever you are, though it seems Nova is going to deal with a horny teenage cat. Sybil inclined her head to the much taller woman and Daichi eyeballed Shukenja to make sure his friend wasn't bothered.

Kaori beamed, rather proud that Sybil liked her gift so much. At the question about how she got it so bright, Kaori chuckled, "It wasn't easy, let me tell you. That's the first true blue bloom I've managed, and I've been working on this since before I left the village on the mission Lady Ayame sent us on." She motioned to Nova at 'us'. She turned instantly at the sound of the squeak, her claws on her toes making a light 'clickclick' sound as she did so. She saw white hair and a woman a head and then some taller than herself with tan skin and a Kumagakure headband. She vaguely recalled her from Sonyo's funeral. Kaori went to say something, but stopped when the woman's partner literally said 'Grrrowl.' as if he was trying to impress Nova. Kaori had to bite her lip and place a hand over her mouth to avoid laughing outright. When Ayame made her appearance, she turned to her Kage and bowed, her ears and tail twitching happily at being able to present her trophies to her village Leader, "Of course, Lady Ayame, would you prefer it to be in your office?"
Nova stared at the hybrid feline with narrowed eyes. It wasn't that he was a hybrid that had her narrowing her eyes, however. It was that he was so painfully obvious in his desire to breed with her. Nova stood to her full height, towering over the hybrid male, and stared him down for a moment, clearly trying to intimidate him, though her tail and ears were relaxed, letting Daichi and everyone else in the room know that she was not feeling threatened in the least. "And you are?" Her tone was dripping with sarcasm and disdain, making Kaori choke on air. It had been quite some time since she'd seen Nova in such a mood. Kaori stepped forward and put her hand on Nova's furry scruff, "We need to get going, Hakanai, right? I think that's what I heard back then, it was nice to meet you, but I must report to my Kazekage. As for your partner, maybe try and teach him some moves before he tries to hit on Nova agian." Nova looked up at Kaori as if her partner had betrayed her. But Kaori just laughed and followed her Kazekage with a wave at Sybil.

Shukenja's eyes widen as she straighten up and towered over him by two feet. Sadly, it was not dilation of fear but pure admiration. "I am?" He questioned, "I am nothing but a miserable starving tick before your eyes that reminds me of the beauty lone glacier floating in the depths of an ocean after an ice storm..." He purred towards her, "A perfect creature you are, you should say your name first, so it can forever echo and be etched onto my heart. I am, but a humble servant beneath those sharp powerful paws." He bowed towards her and you could sworn you hear can you feel the love tonight in the background.
"Servant? You're lazier than me!" Yelped Hakanai, appalled at Shukenja's actions and she seriously didn't know what to do or how to react after having a bad breakup not too long ago. Her hand was rubbing her forehead as she was mortified for her companion. She heard Sybil as she nodded and bowed, "That's what I wish to speak to Lady Kazekage about." Right on cue, the woman had appeared with Daichi and she was going to meet with the duo before her as Hakanai nodded to show that she understood and shall wait. Shukenja was too love-struck as hearts fluttered about in the air for him to notice Daichi's glare. Hakanai gave Kaori a friendly smile with a nod, "Yes. It is nice to meet you as well, and again I am so sorry for this..." She gestures all of Shukenja, who seemed to snap out of it for a moment and looked offended. "Did you just gesture to all of me?" Hakanai and Shukenja watched them enter the office as Shukenja sighed, felt like his heart had left him as Hakanai suddenly punched him in the shoulder, causing him to yowl. "Think with your head, not your... other one! Or did that mane of yours suck every knowledge and sense you had?!" Shukenja simply flopped onto his side and waited for his lovely glacier to come back to him. Hakanai facepalmed.

Ayame chuckled and walked into her office shooing the golems from her as she did. Daichi yawned and padded to his bed behind her desk. Ayame sat and put her hand on Daichi's head when he lay his head on her desk. It is good to finally see you home Kaori. I know Daichi is happy to see his best friend. Ayame grabbed the file to write whatever Kaori had to say. I hope things weren't too crazy out there.

Kaori blinked at the hybrid cat's antics. She was honestly unsure if she should laugh or pity the poor male. At the rate he was going, Nova was going to eat him. In the not fun way. Nova stared at the male, unblinking, as her pupils turned to slits at the oddly poetic praise. She stalked around the maned-idiot and narrowed her eyes before batting at his hind legs, swiping them out from under him to make the massive cat hit the ground in a graceless heap on the ground, making the building seem to jump with the sudden thud. Nova towered over him even more now, eyes still narrowed and all but growling now as her fur stood up slightly, "My name is Nova, I am the Queen of this Jungle, as far as you are concerned, and you will do well to remember that, Cub. The only thing that will be echoing if you keep this up, is the sound of you being thrown from the top of the Suna crevice as I watch from above as you plummet!" Kaori grabbed the back of Nova's headband, wrapped around her neck like a normal pet would have a collar, and all but groaned. Nova considered herself the Queen of the jungle, but had made it clear to herself and even Ayame and Daichi that if Nova was the Queen, Ayame was the Goddess of Suna itself. So Kaori was hoping that Ayame would remember that, and like the gifts enough to not chuck Nova off the top of the Crevice. Not that it would do much, since Nova could fly, but the thought was humiliating. Kaori kind of hurried Nova into the Kazekage's office with an apologetic look towards Hakanai as she went.
Kaori and Nova padded silently into the office and moved to stand in front of the Kazekage's desk. Kaori kept her back straight, though her tail was flicking back and forth in slight nervousness of the consequences of Nova's actions. Nova's fur was settling down now that the amorous male was out of direct line of sight. Kaori still couldn't help but feel like something was off, but she would not question her Kage, no matter how much she wanted to help her friend. At the question, Kaori grinned, showing off her sharp teeth, "Oh no, not too crazy. Nova and I quite enjoyed getting back to nature. I do apologize if my extended silence worried you at all, I felt it best to avoid any and all forms of true civilization to avoid giving our position away. And it was nice being away from people for a while. The targets were slippery, but I caught, and killed, each of them as directed, there is nothing left to trace the deaths back to Sunagakure. I have a few gifts though, in that regard." Kaori reached into the homemade saddle bags that were hanging off of either side of Nova's massive body. Ayame and Daichi's superior hearing would hear the sound of her claws clicking against bone right before she pulled a string of rope from the bags. On the rope hung eight pristinely cleaned skulls, the bone was not bleached, so it was slightly yellow and grey, with little nicks here and there that indicated the flesh had been removed with something course. Like a cat's tongue.
Nova rumbled even as Kaori presented the first gift to her Kage. She had feasted well over the time away, though she was as sleekly muscled as ever. Ayame and Daichi would more than likely notice that Nova's finger necklace, sewn into the cloth of her headband, had quite a few more finger bones added to it since the last time they saw each other. Kaori reached into the other bag and pulled out a bundle of cloth, she had also found a few other struggling lives that she thought deserved a chance, "And for something a little more.... warm and fuzzy." Kaori gently paced the little bundle on the desk, letting some of the cloth fall to the side and reveal three balls of fluff, that almost immediately started to mewl in protest at the sudden light that disrupted their nap. Kaori stood so that Daichi couldn't snatch them up and eat them if he felt a little peckish. She well knew his reputation with normal felines. She then also reached into her hair and pulled out a beautiful blue rose, and then another the exact color of Daichi's good eye, "And last, but not least, these are for you as well. I figured more than one gift was required after so long away from home."

Kaz feeling pretty good about the day managed to make his way into the Kazekages tower. Approaching Sybill he couldn't help but notice a single blue rose on the desk. He fought to keep the smirk on his face from showing but it did anyway. Simply addressing Sybil with a respectful bow as he spoke his business for being at the tower. "I am back from training with my Sensei we were gone for a bit on a mission but was reporting in for any additional services required." When he made his way to the desk he could catch the faint scent of Kaori floral aroma. It was easy to detect when near her but the sense of smell was not Kaz's specialty. But even so he was able to notice that she was recently here, or still here. Upon a quick sense of the building, he did detect a few powerful chakra signatures but as to who they belonged to it was hard to tell. One he assumed was Ayame while the other could have been Kaori, though it did not resemble the same chakra signature that he remembered her by. Enough time had passed for anything to be possible.
Popping back from his internal thoughts he noticed another Shinobi awaiting outside of the office. A quick once-over with his eyes told him that she was not of Sunagakure, Kumogakure in fact if her headband was anything to go by. But considering she had passed easily through the office and Sybil there must be no issue with them being there. It was not his business at all as to why they were there. Though there was no sense in being rude. He gave a smile and a slight bow in respect to her and her large companion. Kaz had started to develop a bit of a thing for cats of all sizes really. Not that he didn't like other species, it might just have been that he was becoming a tiny bit biased. There was no doubt that Kaz was becoming a bit Anxious but on the same note, this kinda sucked. Kaori would be coming out of the door if it was actually her inside the office and he would have to go in. The thought of this made him practically bum himself out. Kaz since he was away with his sensei had developed a bit of a habit of overthinking to himself, to make up for the lack of social interactions. He began his impatient wait to enter while his hand made a nervous tick on his spear attached to his back.

Shukenja was slightly taken by surprise as he crashed onto the floor below, sending out rumblings sound throughout the building. The gorgeous snow leopard hovered over him and her fur stood. Yet, this didn't put a dent in the stubborn thick skull that was thicker than the sand's armor. When she was yanked back, Shukenja sadly chirped as she was inside the office. Then, he got up suddenly, butt up in the air as he started to pounce around, thudding sounds with each step as he wanted to wrestle with the massive Daichi and have fun- that was, until Daichi entered to. With another sad trill, he ploped onto the floor, dust and fur sending everywhere. Hakanai sighed softly. "Shu-" "Did you see that?!" Shukenja exclaimed as Hakanai was taken back by the startlement of his voice. "I.. what?""She touched me," purred Shukenja as hearts were still popping over his head. Hakanai facepalmed and took few deep breaths, remember her anger management technique. She was an angry person for most of her life and because of this, she had her title ripped out and not to mention confined for awhile until she calmed down and took classes.
Hakanai opened her mouth to talk to Shu but it was snapped shut when another had approached, her blue eyes gaze over him as she gave him a once over. Seeing a male caused Hakanai to recoil internally. She turned away from him for a moment and pet Shu's mane. Shukenja, while dense and an idiotic teenager cat, sensed Hakanai's sudden change as he rose his head to meet Hakanai's hand. The bow of respect didn't escape from Shu as he puffed out hair from underneath his nose and his tail didn't twitch, showing that he accepted this stranger at the time. After the funeral, the duo tried to go back home but it was then, the news had reached them, UHV had taken control.
Just like she lost Yukigakure along with Sonyo, she lost Sonyo, and now she lost Kumogakure. Hakanai mindlessly brushed Shukenja's mane with her fingers, lost in thoughts, and attempt to keep her emotions in check. Tick. Tick. She could feel her chest was getting tight and the need to cry, scream and punch was raising. Tick. Tick. If she had cat ears, they would twitch in annoyance but Shukenja was just doing that for her. With a soft inhale and slow exhale out of her mouth, she can't always hate males. It's not this man's fault for having her heartbroken. She should at least be nice. Pushed down the need to cry, she can always do that in private later.
She doesn't have a home anymore.
Turned to face the one she hasn't met, she leaned against Shukenja, as she tilted her head. "Nervous?"
