The non-elemental Null Release (i.e. 'Maru' + 'ton') is all about chakra control at its finest. They do not have superiority or weakness over any element.
Jutsu with 'X-Rank' are trained in a similar fashion to those around them. The term applies to how much the jutsu takes in chakra. (ex. An ‘X-Rank' jutsu in the C-Rank section is trained as a C-Rank.) For Maruton, X-Rank jutsu are posted after the ranked techniques.
All E-rank techniques do not take slots to learn.

Bikou Ninjutsu [ Shadowing Stealth Technique ]
Rank: E
Description: The art of covertly following someone. The manner in which the Shinobi shadows their target can differ from the basic hiding under a nearby object to blending in with a crowd, either with or without the assistance of other jutsu. Using this technique makes it more difficult for those of the user’s body rank or lower to find them while they are hiding or blending in, essentially masking them from being noticed as out of place by normal senses. Effectively makes the shinobi less conspicuous, less noticeable, and allows them to blend in for 3 posts per use. Useful when tailing someone.

Bunshin no Jutsu [ Clone Technique ]
Rank: E
Description: Creates up to three intangible copies of the user. Since the clone itself has no physical presence, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy, it is mainly performed in combination with other techniques. The clones will dissipate when they come into contact with almost anything else. Clones are mindless and can only follow tasks given upon creation.

Henge no Jutsu [ Transformation Technique ]
Rank: E
Description: A technique which allows the user to visually transform themselves as any person or object. This allows the user to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. In addition to being able to transform normally, the user can also employ this technique to transform objects in the environment. Normal usage only allows up to person-sized transformations; in order to transform into larger things, the user needs to use Konbi Henge.

Kakuremino no Jutsu [ Magic Cloak of Invisibility Technique ]

Description: A very basic move, the user uses a camouflage cloth to cloak themselves in the background. Attaches any cloth seamlessly to the background at its tips, while absorbing the information necessary to visually camouflage itself.

Karakuri Hakke no Jin [ Mechanical Eight Trigrams Formation ]
Rank: E
Description: The user bangs a giant drum, which sends out a signal over a large distance to activate distant items. If the items require Chakra, Stamina, or some other fuel to be used, that fuel must be supplied somehow. Can trigger up to 8 items in a subforum, provided they are somewhere the sound will reach.

Kawanuke no Jutsu [ Escaping Skill ]
Rank: E
Description: Allows the user to escape from being tied up, or otherwise trapped, as long as doing so is possible without requiring significant altering of the human body to do so and movement is still possible. Using chakra, ropes and other ties can be nudged in ways to loosen them and allow eventual escape. Takes two activations to get through one tie, or one post if used on someone else’s bindings.

Kawarimi no Jutsu [ Substitution Technique ]
Rank: E
Description: When in danger, the user will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the Shinobi to quickly flee and hide while the object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. The substitution technique can only be performed once every 2 posts, plus an additional post per rank of the dodged technique above the user’s body rank. The cooldown cannot decrease under the minimum through any means. The substituted object must be at least the size of the user's torso, capping out at their full size. Other characters (unless willing) cannot be used as a substitute. Spawning random, faceless characters to use as substitutes is not permitted. All clones, with the exception of the standard clone, may be used in substitution.

Kekkai Massatsu no Jutsu [ Barrier Shatter Technique ]
Rank: E
Description: This technique is used to shatter barriers by borrowing chakra from allies. Only affects barriers made and sustained with chakra. Once used, the user's chakra passes through all nearby and willing shinobi that have trained in Korabo with the user, prior to disrupting the barrier, gathering strength. Gains an extra rank of chakra and power for every extra shinobi that it passes through before returning to the user. Shattering occurs at a higher level than the barrier's own, and also causes the source to be unable to create another for 1 of their posts.

Oiroke no Jutsu [ Sexy Technique ]
Rank: E
Description: A variation of the Henge technique that turns the user into a nude person, typically one that’s considered sexually appealing by the intended target. Is super-effective against perverts.

Tanukineiri no Jutsu [ Feigning Sleep Technique ]
Rank: E
Description: The user exerts chakra to induce sleep, typically in themselves. A strong hit will wake them up. Can only be used on oneself or willing targets. Allows for the affected to be put instantly to sleep, thus gaining any regeneration benefits associated with sleep. A firm shake is enough to wake them, or they will wake up naturally after a full sleep cycle, approximately 3 hours.

Rank: E
Description: After performing the handsigns, the user will place their hands upon an object, which will shape into a six inch diameter sieve. Any specialty elements, such as iron sand, crystal, ice, and so on, will need access to said element. The sieve is a permanent transformation.

Jinteki no Mayu [ Human Cocoon Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: The user pushes chakra out of their skin to create a cocoon of hardened chakra around themselves, either for protection from the elements or camouflage. The user can also use the cocoon as a "sleeping bag". The cocoon is waterproof. Requires no hand seals. If used while the user is grabbing or dangling from something, the cocoon will loop around that thing as well, holding with enough force to support the user’s weight.

Juujin Bunshin [ Beast-Man Clone ]
Rank: D
Description: Requires a companion or summon of some sort to use. This technique is performed in conjunction with an animal that has received training as a shinobi. This technique transforms the animal into a clone of the user, while retaining all of its instincts and abilities. While in this form, the animal has access to five of the user’s techniques up to its rank in training.

Kage Shuriken no Jutsu [ Shadow Shuriken Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: A technique typically utilizing a giant Fuuma Shuriken. When throwing the shuriken, the user will also throw a second shuriken to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary shuriken can then approach the target without their being aware. Chakra hides the second shuriken in the shadow of the first. This can be used with up to 3 normal shuriken or 1 Fuuma Shuriken per activation.

Kanashibari no Jutsu [ Temporary Body Paralysis Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: Kanashibari no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an individual or animal. With the person frozen in place, the shinobi can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. Lasts until the end of the target’s next post, but can be ended prematurely if they exert a D-Rank amount of Chakra or Stamina to break free. If the target is two ranks or more lower than the user in body rank, breaking free takes them an action; otherwise, it does not.

Moujourou [ Net-Shaped Prison of the Blue Joro Spider ]

Description: After a short string of hand signs, the user controls spider webs as one would rope. Alternatively, the web can be hardened into short spikes that can be thrown like kunai. Requires a spider companion or summon, or some method of creating web, in order to use.

Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu [ Haze Clone Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: After a few hand signs, the user creates up to 100 clones that fill the area. These clones are not physical, but unlike those created by Bunshin no Jutsu [ Clone Technique ], they don’t disappear when struck, making them great for visual cover.

Shikyaku no Jutsu [ Four-Legged Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: After forming the needed hand seals, chakra begins to emit from the user’s body and they take on a more animal-like appearance, based on their animal companion's features. These body changes give them slightly increased speed and reflexes or one of the pet’s senses. Requires an animal companion or summon to mimic. Lasts for 5 posts.

Shunshin no Jutsu [ Body Flicker Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: The user covers a large distance in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement, the user will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. This movement is not particularly stealthy, however, and typically alerts those very close to the route of the movement. Has a maximum range of 1 kilometer. Can only be used once every two posts; if used evasively, this cooldown is increased by 2 posts per rank of the dodged technique above the user’s body rank. The cooldown cannot decrease under the minimum through any means. This technique only works in regards to transporting oneself from one place to another. This technique cannot be used to speed up attacks.

Touhatsu Kubikirikorosu [ Long Strangling Hairs Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: The user manipulates their hair and strengthens it with Chakra. The hairs can then manipulated to wrap and tighten around a target. This technique is treated as one rank higher in strength if the user is of the Tenkei Clan.

Oiroke no Jutsu: Onna no Ko Doushi & Otoko no Ko Doushi [ Sexy Technique: Girl Companions & Guy Companions ]

Base Technique: Oiroke no Jutsu [ Sexy Technique ].
Description: Transforms the user and a clone into nude people. This is typically followed by the two of them acting seductively toward each other, with the goal of distracting an onlooker. Is super-effective against perverts. Requires knowing some form of solid clone (such as Kage Bunshin no Jutsu).

Gamayudan [ Toad Oil Projectile ]
Rank: C
Description: After gathering oil in their mouth, the user spits it at a target. The consistency of the oil can then hinder the movement of some materials, such as paper. Oil fires cannot be extinguished with water.

Hiden Jutsu: Kuchi no In no Jutsu [ Secret Technique: Mouth Seal Technique ]
Rank: C
Description: This technique causes the opponent to become mute until the technique is dispelled. The user will form the specific technique seal and then ask the target a question. If the opponent answers, the technique is then immediately invoked, causing the person to lose the use of their voice. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to continue after the first post. The victim regains their voice once the technique is released.

Jagei Jubaku [ Snake Authority Spell ]

Description: Releases large snakes from the user’s sleeves which can be used to bind opponents. Can be used in conjunction with Kanashibari no Jutsu to paralyze opponents while the snakes bind them.

Jouro Senbon [ Sprinkling Needles ]
Rank: C
Description: After hurling one or more umbrellas into the air, the user will form a hand sign and unleash a torrent of needles from within the umbrella(s). Using their Chakra, they can guide these needles towards their opponent. Controls up to 100 needles for up to 3 posts. Needles must be moved as a group and cannot be controlled independently.

Kaeru Kaeru no Jutsu [ Frog Conversion Technique ]
Rank: C
Description: The user forms a few hand seals and touches a target’s forehead, turning them into a frog. The transformation can be ended by a Kai directed at the transformed person, or automatically after 3 posts. The victim retains self-awareness and can move around freely unless otherwise restrained.

Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu [ Crow Clone Technique ]
Rank: C
Description: A solid clone composed of crows. If the user remains still, they may project their consciousness into the clone, allowing it to speak and react even if the crows are scattered.

Kozumikku Jigyou no Jutsu [ Astral Projection Skill ]
Rank: C
Description: A technique that is used to send an intangible astral projection of the user to another place they have been to before. The astral projection can lend Chakra but cannot physically fight. Chakra may only be given in the form of Korabo Ninjutsu. Often used as a form of communication. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to continue after the first post.

Kumoryuu Mikazukigiri [ Cloud Style Crescent Moon Slash ]
Rank: C
Description: The user kneads Chakra into their weapon and lets it leak out slowly, creating a trail of Chakra from the weapon's tip through the air. The trail retains any cutting properties of the weapon and extends from the starting point of the technique to wherever the user’s next attack ends. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to continue after the first post. Requires no hand signs.

Kumoryuu Omotegiri [ Cloud Style Front Slash ]
Rank: C
Description: The user draws their weapon and immediately swings it, enhancing the strike with Chakra. The next weapon attack’s strength is increased moderately. The attack is capable of breaking light armor. Requires no hand signs.

Kumoryuu Uragiri [ Cloud Style Reverse Slash ]
Rank: C
Description: The user jumps into the air and then sends out a burst of Chakra to spin around in a direction of choice. Increases the next weapon attack speed moderately. Doesn't need hand signs.

Kyoumeisen [ Vibrating Sound Drill ]
Rank: C
Description: A technique which amplifies the sound waves created by an attack to disrupt a person’s inner ear. After the amplification of the sound waves, the user can guide them directly into the inner ear of an opponent, disrupting balance and causing vomiting. Even if the target’s ears are plugged, these sound waves can pass through their body just as well. Requires a sound amplifier.

Description: The user kneads Chakra into a long, thick strand in their mouth. This strand can then be controlled freely to use like a whip. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to maintain after the first post.

Nadeshiko-Ryuu Shinku Enbu [ Nadeshiko-Style Deep Crimson Dance Performance ]
Rank: C
Description: The user launches a large barrage of kunai with deadly accuracy. Chakra is used increase the attack’s accuracy to 100% if the target is stationary. If used alongside a thrown weapon technique, the technique’s speed is increased moderately.

Sanzengarasu no Jutsu [ Scattering One Thousand Crows Technique ]
Rank: C
Description: The user will call upon a murder of crows to fly around the target, causing confusion with their dark forms and quick movement. A comrade can move within the flock wearing dark clothes and wielding a dark weapon almost undetected. With the target distracted by the crows, the shinobi can strike more easily. Also the mass of crows can obscure any retreating shinobi. When no longer needed, the murder of crows will simply puff away in smoke. For an upkeep of half the original cost, the technique can be continued past the first post.

Senei Jashu [ Hidden Shadow Snake Hands ]

Description: Senei Jashu is a Ninjutsu technique that manifests a snake which extends from the sleeve. The user can extend these snakes to attack a target. Once extended the snake can bite into the target to hold and bind them.

Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi [ Sharingan Windmill Triple Blade ]
Rank: C
Description: A shuriken-based Ninjutsu technique utilized primarily by the Uchiha clan. The user hurls up to three Fuuma Shuriken that have wire attached to them. While they are in the air, the clan member can manipulate wire to make the blades circle the target, which results in the wire binding them. If there is nothing to grab, the shuriken can be made to spin around a point the user specifies for 2 posts. Can also be used with other thrown projectiles of comparable size.

Shikomi Shindan [ Prepared Needle Projectile ]
Rank: C
Description: A technique used to enhance projectile launchers by priming and firing them. The user sends Chakra to the desired launcher, causing it to ready itself and fire at any time the user wills it within the next 4 posts. If the user has any hazards on their person that can be applied to the ammunition, this technique will automatically do so.

Soushuuha [ Manipulate Advancing Blades ]
Rank: C
Description: This technique allows the user to hover multiple projectiles in the air while they approach a target, allowing them to attack much more quickly than if each were thrown individually. Can manipulate up to 10 projectiles at once. For an upkeep of half the original cost, the technique can be continued past the first post.

Tensou no Jutsu [ Heavenly Transmission Technique ]
Rank: C
Description: This technique was originally designed to teleport inanimate objects across far distances at the speed of light. The user needs time to prepare the jutsu and the coordinates of the location which will receive the object. Upon selecting the object(s) to transfer, the user will form the needed hand seal, causing the object to disappear in a bolt of light and land at the designated area. It is possible to send living objects through the jutsu; however, the extreme speed involved rips the entity to shreds. Only those with extremely tough flesh or advanced self-healing powers can survive the transmission. Takes 1 full post of prior concentration to perform, during which the user must be physically adjacent to the entities being sent. Each entity sent--regardless of size--takes a C-Rank amount of Chakra. The user must know the exact location that the entity is being sent to. Living entities sent long-distance outside of the thread take an extra post of concentration, and the victim takes damage as if an S-Rank attack hit them, shredding them. The damage taken can be mitigated by appropriately-ranked defensive and restorative techniques. Speed Release users do not suffer the damage.

Description: The user spins around at high-speeds, appearing like a small twister. While doing so, they will launch a large barrage of kunai to several targets at once.

Doku Kiri [ Poison Mist ]
Rank: B
Description: This technique allows the user to expel poison gas from their body. This can serve as cover to escape and as an offensive technique against an opponent. User must have an immunity to the poison of choice or they take 2 doses upon activation. Can be retrained to add additional poisons up to 3 times, for a maximum of 4 poisons present in the mist.

Gama Daira Kage Ayatsuri no Jutsu [ Toad Flat Shadow Control Technique ]
Rank: B
Description: The user steps on a subdued foe’s shadow and sinks fully into it. They can then fully control the victim from within their shadow, making this a great infiltration technique. Using any other techniques ends the control and ejects the user from the shadow. If victim is conscious, they may attempt to fight for control. A Kai of equal rank or higher will break the technique and force the user out.

Hari Jizou [ Underworld Guardian Spikes ]
Rank: B
Description: After the needed hand seals, the user’s hair will grow in length to envelop their body. In this form it also becomes ridged and spiked, forming a layer of protection from direct strikes and blows. Protects from Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Bukijutsu B-rank and lower. This technique is treated as one rank stronger if the user is of the Tenkei Clan.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Shadow Clone Technique ]
Rank: B
Description: This technique creates up to 3 solid clones of the user. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two decent blows. They can also disperse on their own. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original even by doujutsu. This clone can use any technique the user knows. A clone can have anywhere from 1 Chakra to all but 1 Chakra of the user's pool. The same goes for stamina. Each clone takes 15 Chakra to create. The clone disperses if it receives a hit C-Rank or higher or runs out of Chakra or Stamina. When a clone is dispersed, any knowledge it gained while active is transferred to the original, and any remaining Chakra and Stamina is returned to the user. Shadow clones may not leave the same thread that the user is in. The only exception is that a village leader may use shadow clones to aid them in managing the village, although the clones still cannot leave the village.

Kekkai: Gama Hyourou [ Barrier: Toad Gourd Prison ]
Rank: B
Description: Kekkai: Gama Hyourou is a barrier technique placed inside a gourd or similar container. The user can activate this technique to enter the gourd along with an opponent, who can then be left behind when the user leaves. The inner world of the gourd can be shaped extensively and is typically filled with acid or something similar to harm enemies. The target can escape by hitting the walls of the inner world with an attack A-Rank or higher.

Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Kuu no Tachi [ Sword of Kusanagi: Long Sword of Sky ]
Rank: B
Description: Allows the user to levitate a blade and direct it to strike at and attack an opponent. The sword is controlled by one of the user’s hands, but only follows instructions if the user would like to prevent the blade from attacking everyone within 3 meters of the user. For an upkeep of half the original cost, the technique can be maintained past the first post. Drains Chakra from the user to make each attack, defaulting to C-Rank strikes unless directed otherwise.

Makigai Hou [ Conch Cannon ]

Description: Using hair, fur or an appropriate needle-launcher as a medium, the user shoots out large spikes in every direction at a very rapid pace.

Makyou no Ran [ Disorder of Demonic Haunts ]
Rank: B
Description: After summoning at least one creature, the user will start a performance which causes the summoned creatures to emit an ethereal ghost of Chakra from their mouths. These ghosts are basically Chakra imbued with mental energy; they starve for physical energy and only have a desire to feed on the Chakra of anyone close. Requires a performance of some sort and creates up to 3 ghosts. Drains a B-rank amount of chakra from a target each time they come into contact. For an upkeep of half the original cost, the technique can be continued past the first post. Ends when the user stops performing.

Mandara no Jin [ Myriad Snake Net Formation ]
Rank: B
Description: The user performs the seals for a summoning, bites a finger, and wipes the blood on their tongue. A wave of small summoned creatures will spill forth from their mouth and rush toward a target. A powerful enough Chakra wave can stop the attack and send the creatures back. Each creature can also open its mouth (if any) and extend a blade out of it.

Mateki: Genbusoukyoku [ Magic Flute: Phantasm Warrior Manipulation Melody ]
Rank: B
Description: After summoning at least one creature, the user will start a performance which allows them to direct the summons’ movements. Requires a summoning contract and a performance of some sort. Summons up to two summons of choice to be manipulated. Lasts until the summoned creatures are either defeated or sent away.

Menma's Chakra Enhancing Music [ Unnamed ]
Rank: B
Description: Through the power of musical performance, the user grants one person who hears their melody a boost to their Chakra network. The target gains the 1st Gate's positive effects while the user remains playing. Affects only one target at a time, and an upkeep of half the original rank is required from the user. Requires a musical instrument.

Ranji Shigumi no Jutsu [ Wild Lion's Mane Technique ]
Rank: B
Description: After forming the needed hand seals, the user will lengthen their hair and send it outwards to subdue a foe. If they manage to trap them, they can make the hair harden into spikes for a killing blow. Hair lengthens up to 10 meters. This technique is treated as one rank stronger if the user is of the Tenkei Clan.

Shishi Enjin [ Four Violet Flames Battle Formation ]
Rank: B
Description: After surrounding their target, four barrier specialists will create a rectangular box made of violet flames. Once created, no shinobi will be able to penetrate the barrier without being harmed by the walls of flame. The only way to destroy the barrier is by disrupting the field from the inside. To protect themselves while they are in the box, the users will create another wall near them to completely enclose their body. This allows their opponent and another ally to fight, while they can remain unharmed. Requires four users to form a rectangular box.

Shoushagan no Jutsu [ Vanishing Facial Copy Technique ]
Rank: B
Description: A very effective disguise technique. The user starts by removing someone’s face. By wearing their face and clothing, the user can impersonate the original without others being aware. The face's owner must be deceased. The user may use recorded faces for the technique's cost. The face remains convincing for 5 posts before the technique must be renewed to continue being effective.

Haaremu no Jutsu [ Harem Technique ]

Base Technique: Oiroke no Jutsu [ Sexy Technique ].
Description: Haaremu no Jutsu is a combined variation of Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and Oiroke no Jutsu. The user first creates numerous Kage Bunshin clones, then each individual clone uses the Oiroke no Jutsu technique. The harem can be of any gender. Is super-effective against perverts. Requires knowing Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Shadow Clone Technique ].

Konbi Henge no Jutsu [ Combination Transformation Technique ]

Base Technique: Henge no Jutsu [ Transformation Technique ].
Description: Konbi Henge is a Ninjutsu technique that allows two Shinobi to transform themselves temporarily into another person or thing. While in the form, they can use the physical characteristics of the one they are impersonating. This technique can create much larger transformations than the base technique, up to the size of a bijuu.

Senei Ta Jashu [ Multiple Hidden Shadow Snake Hands ]

Base Technique: Senei Jashu [ Hidden Shadow Snake Hands ].
Description: A technique that manifests a torrent of snakes which erupt from the user’s sleeve. The user can extend these snakes to attack a target. Once extended, the snakes can wrap around and bite into the target to hold and bind them. Once the snakes bind the target, their loyalty to the caster ends.

Description: A trapping technique typically applied as additional protection for seals. When triggered, this technique creates a doppelganger of the entity that triggered it, which then attempts to kill them. The doppelganger can utilize all the same moves as the original, is visually indistinguishable from them, and does not suffer from fatigue. The doppelganger is of equivalent rank to the target and has the same Chakra pool as them, but has an unlimited Stamina pool. It can be defeated with a solid blow of the copied entity’s body rank or higher (capped at this technique’s rank), or if it runs out of chakra. Its body rank in chakra is drained each of its posts, capped at this technique’s rank. Remains dormant for 3 posts after its initial use.

Meisai Gakure no Jutsu [ Camouflage Concealment Technique ]

Description: After forming the needed hand seals, the user becomes invisible and their scent trail is erased. Sensing techniques A-Rank and lower, including unstated versions like Disciplines, cannot detect the user while this technique is active. Doujutsu that see Chakra can see through this technique. This technique can be continued past the first post for half its base cost per post, or once every 2 posts if the user remains still.

Onpa no Jutsu [ Sound Wave Technique ]

Sekka no Ichigeki [ Petrifaction Blow ]

Description: The user channels Chakra into a specially made gauntlet, then touches a target to activate this technique. Any organic matter in the area touched will begin to rapidly petrify. Capable of affecting an entire limb after 1 post, progressing to full petrification after 3 posts. After 10 posts, the afflicted is permanently turned to stone. Luckily, this state is easily recovered from, as any healing technique can be used to treat it, taking the same amount of time to do so. Any progress the petrification makes is halted as soon as healing begins and does not resume if the healing ceases.

Sennou Sousa Jutsu [ Brainwash Manipulated Sand Technique ]

Description: By burying a microscopic needle in a subject’s brain, the user can block and alter a section of a target’s memories. This technique lasts until the user releases it, and can even fool interrogation techniques.

Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Multiple Shadow Clone Technique ]

Description: A mass version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a few clones, it creates a few hundred. This is considered a forbidden jutsu, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user. The user's chakra and stamina is divided equally among every clone, including the original. This technique starts off at a minimum of 100 clones produced, and they can be produced until each has only 1 Chakra/Stamina. Each clone has the same weaknesses and limitations as a regular Kage Bunshin.

Description: This ability allows the user to manifest and materialize their will into a black substance or material, which can be shaped and hardened for different purposes. Creatures in contact with the black substance can be willed to perform actions by the user. Objects can be manipulated telekinetically or used as long-range conductors for the user’s will, making them useful for controlling others at a distance. Requires an S-rank chakra cost every time a new order is given to the object or person controlled by the substance. User must maintain physical contact for 5 posts to take control of a person. Otherwise, it takes 1 full post to manifest these effects.

Nan Kaizou [ Soften Modification ]

Description: A technique that allows the user to make their body very malleable. It was originally developed for spying activities. This technique can only be used after surgery and actual body modification. When used, the user can stretch and twist their body at any angle, allowing them to surprise their opponent. If the user knows the Soft Physical Formless Style, they may pay Chakra to use it. After activation, this technique becomes permanent, reducing the user’s maximum Chakra pool by an S-Rank amount of Chakra. Can be ended if the user gets extensive medical treatment to undo the effects, which ends the Chakra pool reduction.

Description: The user creates a Rasengan-like orb of chakra surrounded by a series of white rings that orbit the main sphere. These rings then align into one disc-like shape around the orb, causing the rings to resemble planetary rings. When it comes into contact with something, it erupts, sending a great deal of rending force through that thing. Requires knowing either the Maruton or Fuuton version of Rasengan, and the technique will reflect whichever element is used.

Tsubako Mandara [ Mandala Box ]

Description: After forming the needed hand seals, the user will form a triangular hand seal and shoot out a pyramid of Chakra to surround and encase a target. Holding the triangle seal, the user can draw their hands together to cause the walls of the pyramid to collapse inwards and crush the opponent to an infinitesimal size. The prison is said to be unbreakable, unless the user ends the Jutsu. However, if another manages to disrupt the seal it will cause the hold of the pyramid to weaken and allow the target to break free. The resulting break will release a huge explosion of energy which can level much of the surrounding area. Must remain still while this Jutsu is active. Requires an upkeep of half the original rank per post. Is able to be broken by Ninjutsu of the same rank, though the victim risks getting caught in their own technique, and Taijutsu techniques of half the rank can hold it off for 8 posts.

Pain's Enma Judgment Technique [ Unnamed ]

Description: A cruel technique used to judge someone's soul. The user conjures an Enma, a ruler of the underworld. Upon grabbing the throats of a target, their soul will extend from their mouth. The Enma will open its mouth and extend hands that will grasp the victim's soul. The user can then ask questions of the victim, and should they lie, Enma will judge them accordingly by removing their soul and ingesting it. As a result the victim will die. A neutral answer will still result in death if the victim is able to give a more certain one. Requires a hand around the victim’s throat to activate. Those without the Rinnegan can only affect one victim per use of the technique, whereas those with it can affect as many as they can physically hold. Learning this technique consumes either 1 Style slot (which is a Rigorous slot, if a physical Style slot is used) or 10 Ninjutsu or Genjutsu slots, before any mirroring effects. This technique can only be used once every 3 posts, with this cooldown restarting if the user activates a technique above A-Rank in that time.

Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique that is typically used to break the effects of a Genjutsu on either themselves or another shinobi. After forming the needed hand seal, a Genjutsu technique loses its hold on the target of this technique. An ally can form the hand seal and physically touch the afflicted to break the technique. This essentially halts, for a brief moment, chakra running through the body, cancelling out foreign chakra within. As such, the technique can also be used to break techniques affecting the chakra directly, such as buffs and debuffs and temporary physical alterations, such as chakra-based paralysis, assuming the user has the ability to make the hand seal. This technique’s rank must be at least the rank of the Genjutsu or other effect to be canceled.

Kinobori no Waza [ Act of Tree Climbing ]

Description: Kinobori no Waza [ Act of Tree Climbing ] serves a dual purpose: it teaches one how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls, but also teaches very precise Chakra control. The training helps the Shinobi learn how to focus just the right amount of Chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master Chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the user will have any Jutsu available to them (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their Chakra as needed. Requires an E-Rank upkeep cost per post of use. From there, the user can utilize the technique to effectively anchor themselves to a surface to prevent losing footing and falling, for an amount of Chakra equivalent to the technique they are anchoring themselves against.

Nunoshibari no Jutsu [ Cloth Bind Technique ]

Description: Users of this technique will carry a binding roll of cloth into battle, and when an enemy is stunned or unable to move, will unfurl the roll and quickly wrap the target in cloth. The user will then cut the cloth and wrap the remainder into the bind. This prevents movement and the forming of hand seals by anyone bound, and can even prevent speech if it covers their mouth. Requires a large bolt of cloth able to fully enclose around an individual, and the victim must be bound manually. Once bound, the target can neither move nor mold any chakra, and is protected from all outside influence. The bindings' chakra lasts for 10 posts, unless otherwise unraveled by an outside force. Using this technique below a target’s body rank decreases the duration by 2 posts per rank of difference. If used with Yuwaeru no Tsukegami Houin [ Binding Tag Seal ], each technique is treated as though it is the higher of their two ranks (i.e. if this technique is a higher rank, they both act as though they’re at this technique’s rank).

Suimen Hokou no Waza [ Act of Water Surface Walking ]

Description: A variation on the Kinobori no Waza [ Act of Tree Climbing ], Suimen Hokou no Waza [ Act of Water Surface Walking ] allows a Shinobi to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of Chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water. Requires an E-Rank upkeep cost per post of use. From there, the user can utilize the technique to effectively anchor themselves to the surface of the water to prevent losing footing and falling, for an amount of chakra equivalent to the technique they are anchoring themselves from.

Description: The user embeds Chakra into wire and then forms a figure out of it, similar to playing Cat’s Cradle or Ayatori (after which the technique is named). They then release this Chakra, sending it flying outward in the shape of the pattern made. This Chakra shears anything it touches along its edge. Travels 3 meters per rank. The user’s hands must be holding either end of the wire for this technique to work.

Bakuretsu Koinu [ Exploding Puppy ]

Description: A technique that allows the user to read another's mind. By subtly weaving signs with their eye, the user can delve into the mind of their target through eye contact without them noticing. Gyorai Shin [ Torpedo Needle ]

Description: A vicious trapping technique designed to delay enemies. The user scatters nails throughout an area, then forms a hand seal. The nails then burrow into the ground and lie dormant until the user forms a second hand seal, which launches them upward. Should the nails pierce someone’s feet, they will hold that person in place. An optional third hand seal will cause the remaining nails to launch at whoever has been skewered. Because these nails stay underground until the moment they pierce someone’s foot, evading this technique is very difficult. Each stage of this technique consumes an activation, but the entire Chakra cost is paid when the trap is set. Targets with a body rank at or below this technique’s rank do not get any reflex bonuses from any Jutsu or stance when attempting to evade. Sensory Jutsu and those naturally gifted with Chakra sensing through bloodlines will be able to sense that the ground isn't safe, but won't be able to track individual nails.

Hansouha no Jutsu [ Wave Transmission Technique ]

Description: The user releases flowers into the air and uses Chakra to mask their presence among the petals, making this an incredibly useful technique both for stealth and getaways. Those with a body rank lower than this technique’s rank cannot visually locate anyone through the flower petals. If used with an airborne hazard that causes hallucinations, that effect is applied to anyone who inhales in the cloud, causing them to continue to see petals for 5 posts. Otherwise, this technique lasts 2 posts. Affects all within an area with a radius of 3 meters per rank, including the user. Does not necessarily need flowers, but it does need a lot of colorful, petal-sized objects that can be thrown in the air.

Kao Utsushi no Jutsu [ Face Copy Technique ]

Description: This technique allows the user to take on the physical form of their target. The user must remain close to the one they want to copy for a short period of time. Their body will then shape and contort to resemble the target. The copy is said to be so good that even family members of the target cannot tell they are a fake. The clan member will even take on the smell of the original. Unfortunately, this technique does not copy the target’s Jutsu, leaving the user with only their original skills. This technique’s rank matches the body rank of the person being copied. Lasts 20 posts, but user may freely switch between appearances until those posts are up.

Kuro Tatsumaki [ Black Tornado ]

Description: The user lifts someone—or even multiple people—onto their shoulders to form a column of people. The user then locks everyone in place with Chakra and begins to spin. The others in the tower can use Taijutsu and Bukijutsu techniques while spinning and even get a slight bonus to the speed of their techniques per rank of this technique. Unfortunately, they also can’t move toward an opponent of their own will, and their own techniques do not grant any descriptive changes to speed. The speed bonus granted by this technique decreases slightly for every two people the user is carrying. The user is blinded while using this technique. Each post, the user can determine how much they want to pay for upkeep, but upkeep must be paid each post or it ends. Alternatively, the user can elect to hurl themselves and the whole column at an enemy, converting the speed bonus to a strength bonus with the same restrictions but also ending the technique afterward.

Narikawari no Jutsu [ Change Technique ]

Description: The user touches a target and creates a clone that takes on the target’s appearance and Chakra signature. This technique’s rank matches the target’s body rank. The clone can take damage up to the rank it is created at, but can only use E-Rank techniques the target knows. Like with normal clones, its Chakra and Stamina pools are taken from the user.

Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu [ Cherry Blossom Snow Storm Technnique ]

Description: The user hurls kunai with explosive pouches attached. When they impact against something, the pouches explode into a flurry of smaller explosive notes. This cloud can be detonated by any explosive or incendiary effect that touches it, causing an explosion with a force matching this technique’s rank and a radius of 1 meter per rank. Requires 5 kunai per rank.

Shizuku Touei no Jutsu [ Water Droplet Reflection Sight ]

Description: By dilating their pupils, the user becomes able to track down enemies via the reflection on tiny water droplets. The user’s visual range and sensitivity increases dozens of times over, to the point where they can see reflections in the surface of a water droplet. Unfortunately the user also becomes extremely sensitive to bright lights, becoming blinded for a post whenever one passes through their vision. Requires no hand signs. Grants a slight reflex bonus per rank against targets the user can see and increases visual range by half a kilometer per rank. After the initial chakra cost, maintaining and manipulating the pupils further only takes an E-Rank cost per post.

This technique is broken if the target exerts Stamina at a higher rank to do so, or if hit by a technique of at least its rank from the outside. If shot from the mouth, the web flies up to 6 meters.

Kumonendo [ Spider Sticky Vomit ]

Description: The user spits Chakra-embedded fluid from their mouth that acts as spider web. Once the web comes into contact with something, it will stick strongly and yank the object in whatever direction the user moves their head. Whenever the user moves their head, they can pay Chakra to hurl anything caught by this technique in the same direction. The web stays connected to the user until they bite it off or it gets broken by a technique at least its rank, at which point it becomes inert.

Description: The user quickly forms a large wad of spider web in their mouth by embedding Chakra into their fluids, then spits it out. The web immediately balloons into a large net designed to hamper a large number of foes. Covers an area up to 2 meters in radius per rank. Targets caught by the web can break out by exerting stamina or using techniques two ranks lower than it. Using this technique below C-Rank means that breaking out is free for anyone caught, though doing so still takes them an action. If multiple instances of this technique are affecting a target, they can break free from all of them by paying to escape the highest ranking one or they can take their time to break out one by one.

Description: The user throws a chakra steel or jutsu-created weapon at a target, keeping hold of a wire that runs to the end of the weapon. Chakra then flows into the wound, causing paralysis in the affected area for as long as the Jutsu remains active and slowly draining the target’s Chakra. So long as the weapon remains in the target, any techniques they use cost this technique’s rank of Chakra more than normal. This effect can be bypassed by willingly sending this technique’s rank in Chakra to the user of this technique, which negates the drain and paralysis for the post but also restores their Chakra pool by the same amount. Using another Chakra draining technique of an equal or higher rank on the weapon will change who is in control of this technique, meaning that a careless user will potentially find themselves on the receiving end. Costs half this technique’s original cost per post to maintain. The weapon can be removed by expending Stamina at a rank higher to pull it out. Can only be used once every three posts. If multiple instances of this technique are active on the same person(s), the last one to activate drains all others connected.

Jigyakkou no Jutsu [ Time Regression Technique ]

Description: An interrogation technique used by ANBU to pull out memories that have been sealed away. After forming the needed hand seals, the ANBU will put the target into a trance. After counting back to the day they wish to learn about, they will ask the target to remember incidents they have since forgotten. As those affected by this technique are compelled to comply, this allows the ANBU to gather intel that would otherwise be inaccessible. The target must be held still by either force or their own will and can break out of the trance by expending an amount of chakra 1 rank higher than this technique’s rank. Must be an ANBU: Initiate or higher to learn.

Kage Kagami Shinten no Hou [ Shadow Mirror Body Change Method ]

Description: The user will build a marker on the ground, then form the needed hand seals. They will then be enveloped by ribbon-like material which will change their shape into that of another. Once the user's shape changes, they are unable to return to normal. This jutsu thus allows them to permanently copy their target. Changing into someone they know very well is much easier than changing to their choice of appearance. Cost starts out at E-Rank to change one feature of their appearance (i.e. hair color, skin color, facial features, etc.), increasing by one rank per additional feature to be changed. Assuming the appearance of another person takes an S-Rank amount of Chakra. Requires 1 post of concentration per rank.

Konoha's World Barrier [ Unnamed ]

Description: An invisible barrier that serves to alert the user of the location(s) of anyone and anything passing through it. Should the user be asleep when someone passes through, they are awoken with the knowledge. It is for this reason that the Jutsu can be set up so that it can be maintained by others who occupy a specified location inside the barrier. While others are maintaining it, they receive any alerts instead of the user. Size of barrier is determined by the amount of chakra used. At E-rank the technique covers only a couple meters in radius, but its size increases exponentially until it can cover a village at S-rank. Can be maintained for half of the original cost per post after the first, or a portion equal to the original cost can be taken from the user's chakra to maintain it permanently.

Description: As the name suggests, this technique is simply a very quiet method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. The jutsu acts as a space-time technique which places the user behind a target silently. The user is required to know where the target is. Creatures up to this technique’s rank are unable to perceive the user’s movement through nonvisual, non-Sensor technique means. Must be at least an Oinin: Initiate or and ANBU: Initiate to learn.

Shisha Kuu'utsu [ Deceased Consumed Spirit ]

Description: Using a freshly killed corpse or a willing living subject as raw materials, the user grafts the subject onto themselves, extending their Chakra network and physical form to match. This grants the user full access to the subject’s Jutsu and special abilities, but permanently decreases their sanity as the subject’s memories and personality bleed into their own. This technique’s rank must be at least the body rank of the person to be absorbed. If the area of the fusion is damaged by a Chakra-containing technique of a higher rank, the fusion destabilizes, causing the entities to split apart, splitting their knowledge and memories evenly between them. Known Jutsu are also split at random, though they cannot be used if the part that gets them would not normally be able to do so. Must be used again for each new body added to the fused mass. This technique can also be used with the implantation process when a cadaver is involved, halving the training time to reach higher implant stages. Once Stage 2 of implant training is reached, the body part becomes a natural extension of the user’s body and no longer splits off if hit by a powerful technique.

Shuriken no Jutsu [ Shuriken Technique ]

Description: The user charges a chakra steel item with a jutsu rather than just Chakra. This technique binds that jutsu to the item for up to 3 posts or until the user wills it, at which point the jutsu activates. This technique’s rank matches the bound technique. Techniques activated this way can still be sustained if they would normally allow for it, but the sustain cost is increased by half this technique’s original cost. The technique will hurt the user as much as anyone else if they’re caught in it.

Zesshi Nensan [ Tongue Tooth Sticky Acid ]

Description: The user supercharges an acid they store inside themselves (such as stomach acid) with Chakra and spews it out with great force. This acid can cover up to 3 meters per rank and eats through items and armors with ease, to say nothing of people. The user is affected by this technique as much as anyone else if they touch the acid. Can only be used once per battle if the user does not naturally produce great quantities of acid or have another way to replenish it.

Houshi no Jutsu [ Spore Technique ]

Description: The user spreads specially-prepared spores throughout an area, planting them on anyone who happens to be nearby. After 5 posts of incubation, they begin to grow, slowly draining the Chakra of those afflicted to sustain their growth. This growth phase is delayed on an individual level by 1 post per a target’s body rank. Once growth begins, the spores drain an E-Rank amount of Chakra, increasing by one rank per post up to this technique’s rank. Once 50 Chakra has been absorbed, the spores grow to the point where they are visible masses on those afflicted. Once 100 Chakra has been absorbed, they spread to almost completely cover the afflicted. These masses can break off and transfer their Chakra and memories to anyone they choose that they can touch, which kills them. Once they have drained the user’s body rank in Chakra above the 100 Chakra threshold, they can move around as clones of the user with Chakra and Stamina pools collectively equal to however much Chakra they drained before breaking off. Spores can be removed with Baikin Tekijo [ Bacteria Removal ] equal to two ranks below this technique’s rank or higher. They also die if exposed to flames or acid during their incubation stage, subject to the same rank limitations.

Description: The user merges with the ground and surrounding objects such as rock and trees. This allows them to spy without being detected, as their presence is masked by the environment. The user cannot perform techniques other than sensory techniques while this technique is active. Rank determines how fast the user can move through the ground, as well as how strong of a sensory technique would be required to sense that the user is there. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to maintain past the first post.

Kagerou Ninpou: Utakata [ Ant Lion Ninja Arts: Ephemeral ]

Description: The user exerts all their Chakra, causing them to be completely enveloped in a cocoon of Chakra for 1 post. Upon emerging from this cocoon, they take on a younger, smaller form and gain the benefits of opening the Seventh of the Eight Gates in addition to Chakra wings that let them fly freely at their body rank in speed. This state lasts for 1 post per 100 Chakra and Stamina the user had before its activation, after which the user dies. This technique’s rank matches the user’s body rank. The state can only be ended by an outside party canceling it with a disruption technique of at least its rank, which leaves the user in critical condition in their new form, requiring 10 posts of treatment per post they spent in this state.

Kekkaimon Gofuu Jutsu • Hachimon Heijou [ Barrier Gate Five Seal Technique • Eight Gate Lock-up ]

Description: A complicated barrier technique that requires the use of a map as a catalyst. The user writes special characters on the map at the cardinal directions, then draws an outline of the barrier running between those characters. This process takes two activations. Once this is done, the technique can be started using one more activation, which places the drawn barrier over the region mapped out and raises towering gates at the locations of the special characters on the map. This barrier prevents passage and can be ended by either taking out the user or destroying one of the gates, which can be done with a technique at least this technique’s rank. Destroying the barrier head-on can only be done by a technique of a higher rank. The user must remain inside the thread where they activated the technique or the Jutsu ends. Affects the entire subforum if it is a village. Lasts 3 posts, after which its duration may be renewed by paying the technique’s original cost again. This renewal can be performed any number of times.

Shiki Seppun [ Dead Demon Kiss ]

Description: The user kisses a target and draws out their Chakra. The target cannot move until the kiss ends or they exert this technique’s rank in Stamina to break free. The amount of Chakra drained is equal to this technique’s rank, taking a full post to drain the full amount. This Chakra is not integrated with the user’s pool, but rather can be used separately and does not replenish once used. This Chakra retains any of its elemental affinities, allowing the user to train different elements than they would normally be able to access. The user cannot naturally regenerate Chakra while they have any stolen Chakra remaining. Cannot be used to steal demonic or natural Chakra unless the user is a Jinchuuriki or can control natural Chakra, respectively.

Shiki Tenshin [ Dead Demon Change ]

Description: Creates a vessel to contain Chakra stolen by Shiki Seppun [ Dead Demon Kiss ]. Any stolen Chakra of a certain element can be assigned to a vessel. This vessel can be destroyed by techniques of a higher rank than its own, either by being hit by the technique in question or using one. Once the user has at least one vessel created this way, they can use this technique at S-Rank to transfer their consciousness to any vessel they have, granting them the ability to use techniques of the vessel’s assigned element but sealing access to all other techniques aside from this one and Shiki Seppun. If the main body has no stolen Chakra associated with it, it can regenerate Chakra naturally so long as the user is controlling it. Creating a vessel takes 10 posts of concentration.

Chibaku Tensei [ Bursting Earth Celestial Body ]

Description: The user creates a small, black ball of Chakra that draws other objects toward itself with enough force to rip boulders from the earth. This attractive force does not affect the user, but does affect everyone else in the area. Those who are drawn to the surface of the mini-planet created this way have a difficult time moving, requiring they pay one rank lower than this technique’s rank in Stamina to either stand up or perform hand seals. The technique can be forcibly ended by destroying the black ball at its core. If an entity is buried in this technique, it cannot escape without using a technique at a rank higher than this technique’s rank or entering a full Bijuu manifestation or similarly powerful transformation. Drains half the user’s Chakra pool every post after activation, ending once they fall below 100 Chakra. Technique rises into the sky and becomes a permanent satellite akin to the moon if sustained for more than 20 posts. No external Chakra (such as Bijuu or natural Chakra) can be used to sustain this technique. Consumes all of the user’s activations while it remains active. Can only be used once every 10 posts beginning once the technique ends or becomes permanent. The cooldown resets if the user activates a Chakra-consuming technique above E-Rank. Gedou Rinne Tensei no Jutsu [ Heretical Death and Rebirth Cycle Technique ]

Description: The user summons the head of a demon, which then opens its mouth to return the souls of those who recently died in battle. The souls naturally return to their own body, which resuscitates and recovers from any fatal wounds just enough to remain alive for 3 posts without medical treatment. This technique drains Chakra proportional to the number of souls returned and their relative strength, draining an S-Rank plus the target’s body rank in Chakra per soul restored. The user cannot pick and choose who gets revived; it’s an all-or-nothing deal. If the user doesn’t have enough Chakra to revive everyone, they’re killed due to overexertion after a number of people matching the amount already paid are revived. Only affects those whose bodies have not started decaying. The area affected consists of every thread the user has been in or affected during the current fight, plus any threads affected by those they did combat with. If the user expends more than 200 Chakra this way, they fall comatose afterward and remain that way until they undergo 2 posts of recovery for each soul returned. If the user has the Rinnegan, the base S-Rank drain per soul and the mandatory unconsciousness are negated. Jujutsu: Shijihyouketsu [ Sorcery: Death Controller Possessing Blood ]

Description: Through a contract with Lord Jashin, the user gains a body immune to death. In exchange, the user must ritualistically sacrifice their opponents or lose their immortality. To perform the sacrifice, the user first must ingest their target’s blood, then draw a circle on the ground and step inside it. Upon doing so, their skin becomes black and they gain a white, skeletal pattern on their skin. While inside the circle, any damage they take is also suffered by their target. To fulfill the terms of the sacrifice, they have to ritualistically harm themselves until the opponent dies from the wounds inflicted. The user does not recover from any damage taken, either naturally or through medical techniques, but can move any of their body parts that comes into contact with their head or another part already being controlled. This immortality ends if they don’t sacrifice anyone for 2 weeks. While immortal, the user cannot use any elemental Ninjutsu, natural or demonic Chakra, and must perform at least one religious mission for Jashinism per week. It effectively works like echolocation, giving the user knowledge of the path in which the sound travels for 1 full post. The visual can be maintained at an upkeep of the original cost per post, though this requires a constant sound source, such as music or a metronome.

Irezumi no Ryuu [ Dragon’s Tattoo ]

Description: By focusing on the image of a tattoo design, the user is able to select one person and sense things through that person’s tattoo for as long as the last hand seal of this technique is held. Sensory method is determined by the location of the tattoo relative to the sensory organs: Tattoos on or around the eye let the user see what the target sees, the nose transfers smells, the mouth taste, the ears sound, and any place away from these organs allows the user to feel what the target feels. Works only with the five primary senses, thus the user cannot see or sense chakra the target does. Must have an image of the target's tattoo, and requires an upkeep of half the original cost per post to maintain past the first post.

Kenchiki: Shunshin [ Sensor: Body Flicker ]

Description: Allows the user to jump to anywhere within one kilometer, so long as they can sense the destination. Upon landing at the destination, locational information on everything within 10 meters is automatically transferred to the user.

Ryouken [ Hunting Dog ]

Description: After inscribing a personal rune on something, the user can track the affected object over great distances so long as the rune remains. Each activation gives the user a general direction in which to travel, becoming less useful the farther away the rune is. Being in the same thread will point directly toward the rune, ignoring any obstacles such as walls; being in the same subforum points toward the general location; being in an adjacent subforum (such as in the lands surrounding a Village, or the Village Crossroads) gives the user a vague sense of where to go; and beyond that it points you in which cardinal direction to go. While the rune is permanent, the technique can be maintained permanently by removing this technique’s original cost from the user’s max Chakra pool to keep it active. This lasts until the technique is canceled.

Mitsugo Heki [ Whispering Walls ]

Description: By coming into direct contact with a wall or other major structure in a building, the user is able to get a mental snapshot of the contents of a room the wall is touching. Only shapes are given, not necessarily what individual objects are. Chakra signals can also be seen within the room through this technique.

Monko no Keibou [ Door Guard ]

Description: After performing the needed hand seals, the user touches a nearby object. That object then relays basic information on whoever comes into contact with it to the user, including the relative size of their Chakra pool compared to the user’s. Lasts 6 posts, but can be made permanent by removing this technique’s original cost from the user’s maximum Chakra pool. Can be used on stationary effects such as waterfalls (naturally occurring or otherwise).

Hofuku Kageboushi [ Creeping Silhouette ]

Description: Marks a surface of up to 50 square meters in size for observation. When the first person who is not the user enters that area, the user is notified. The longer that person remains in contact with the surface, the more the user learns about them, starting with the relative size of their Chakra pools and gradually getting more specific. After three posts of contact, the target’s elemental affinities are known; after four posts, bloodline type (if any) and affinity for certain types of Jutsu are assessed (lets the user know if the target specializes in Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, etc.); at six posts, the target’s identity and any seals present on their body are determined; at seven posts, the contents of any of the target’s seals are identified if they have Chakra and the relative strength of that Chakra is gleaned. Does not have an upkeep cost, but the user must focus on the area in question to sustain the flow of information, consuming one activation per post. Ends and must be reused if left unused for 10 posts.

Haiiro no Kiri [ Gray Fog ]

Description: A technique typically used in conjunction with Genjutsu or area-of-effect-type Ninjutsu, this technique allows the user to imbue a launched technique with a thin gray fog. The fog is mostly unnoticeable and cannot be detected as being the product of a technique by anyone but other Sensor Class Shinobi. It conveys to the user information on the physical fitness and the sensitivity of the senses of anyone it touches. Can discern Shinobi who have suppressed Chakra from normal civilians based on the above-mentioned factors unless they’re particularly frail. Lasts as long as any techniques it is used alongside and is confined to the same area. If used alone, covers an area up to 10 meters across in a cloud of whatever fine particulate the user wants (barring poisons and other potentially lethal substances) and lasts for 4 posts before an upkeep of half the original cost must be paid to maintain it.

Kagura Shingan [ Kagura Mind's Eye ]

Description: The user focuses their Chakra while standing still, then takes in information over a very large area. This technique grants the user knowledge of the positions and relative Chakra pool sizes of anyone they choose within 2 kilometers per rank. User must remain still for one full post before technique takes effect. Information gained from technique is fairly vague and limited to location and chakra capacity unless the user has the Resolution discipline, in which case more detailed information such as elemental affinities or bloodline can be determined by concentrating on the subject for 1 post. Technique remains active until the user moves.

Kekkai: Tengai Houjin [ Barrier: Dome Method Formation ]

Description: After clacking their feet together, the user can extend a sensory barrier to detect the movements of a hidden foe. Should the field touch an opponent, the user will know their position immediately. Barrier covers a 20 meter radius, centered on the user. Can be maintained for an upkeep of half the original cost per post.

Ukojizai no Jutsu [ Fierce Raining at Will ]

Description: A technique that blankets a large area with sensory rain. This rain transfers information to the user on the relative Chakra pool and body rank of anyone in the rain. It also provides enough information on positions to let the user know when the rain is being blocked and where. Requires clouds or a storm be present. Has a range of 1 kilometer per rank. At an upkeep of half the original cost per post, the technique can be maintained past the first post. Unlike Kagura Shingan, the user may move around freely.

Zetsu's Sensory Range Technique [ Unnamed ]

Description: The user extends their Chakra through plants to perceive things as if they were at the same location as any other plant in the area. If they have the Source Manipulation Alteration Style, this technique can be used as a source for other sensory techniques. The user must remain still for this to work. Has a range of 20 meters per rank.

Hiru [ Leech ]

Description: During the first post of this technique’s activation, the user gains the ability to spot objects being used as conduits for sensory techniques and subtly gain access to any information they’re transmitting. After 2 posts of concentration, the user can covertly gather information from non-physical sensory methods, such as Kagura Shingan. If a full three posts are spent concentrating, the user can designate one Jutsu with at least one post remaining in its duration and spy through it at will for up to 6 posts. Those using the technique being leeched from are unaware that this technique is being used on them.

Shakou Ichou [ Opaque Curtain ]

Description: The user sends out a wave of Chakra and uses it to read the air, drawing out information on any signals being sent through an area and jamming them. Works on signals not created by Chakra sources, such as radio waves. Enhanced senses view this area as a black box. Affects one thread for 10 posts.

Renriki [ Mind Power ]

Description: For up to 5 posts after activation, any sensory techniques gazing into the area around the user see rapidly-changing nonsense. At the same time, the user is notified of the source of any sensory techniques monitoring the area. This applies to augmented senses as well, whether natural or Jutsu-related. Suppresses any sensory techniques and techniques that affect the senses, and switches any passive bonuses to the senses to whatever sense the user wishes (i.e. moving a smell enhancement to hearing).
