Well, suffice to say, this is a poem I wrote about Grues, the greatest mythical creatures you've never heard of:
They live in the dark
And devour your soul
They'd rip you apart first
... If they didn't eat you whole
They lure you into
The unassuming dark
Then attack more violently
Than a Great White Shark
There are none around
Who've survived an attack
From these creatures that drag you
Down, into the black
Passersby hear in horror
As bones crackle and snap
Your fate was much worse
Than a plain old dirt nap
"Grues"
The blights upon the land
So if I were you
I'd watch where I stand
