According to Bulbapedia (And you should check it out), Ash is going to catch a Gible (Now I'm confused, with the Kazunari thing), and Gliscor getsa lot of episodes. Seeing at Gible and Gliscor are both part Ground-type, looks like Gliscor will be leaving.
Also, some Pokemon learn some moves. Boring.

that sounds kinda nice. if he gets a gible it'll probably end up growing up to a garchomp and the battle between his and cynthia's would be pretty cool
