I've been doin sit up's and they work for me, but some people say it just doesn't cut for them. Some say that they still have a lil flubber even after (doing them) ha ha. 4 ever

That's probably because they still have that little layer of fat that is covering their abs. First, they gotta get rid of that layer of fat by running or some type of cardio. After that, their abs will show if they have toned muscles. Sit ups will work then =] Sit up's are bad for my lower back so I do crunches for upper abs and leg raises for lower abs.

Typically, situps are alright, but they've been considered harmful to your lower back and can eventually give you problems if you do them frequently. Bicycles and crunches are usually the better alternative to situps, because they work potentially the same thing, give you better core strength and results, and they require very little use of your back.
