Well, they said they were tweaking the gold awarding for different activities...
First posting bonus today was 75 gold instead of 50, but what really struck me was the second post earned me 55 gold, where it used to go down to half of that.
What other changes have you noticed?

Total nerf of awarded gold/items from the aquarium. Gold is only given at only multiples of 1 and I've yet to see it break three digits or go higher than 555 yet.

Yeah, that's a big disappointment. Wasn't so long ago you might get a really nice item fairly often, or 1000+ gold. I guess I'm glad I didn't go crazy buying fancy fish!

Surfing is giving out more but polling has decreased ~ or at least to me.

I wonder if they changed gold giving in zOMG, too. I haven't played much lately, but it'd be nice if they upped the faint trickle you get from kicking the crap out of most stuff.
I think the gold from quests is slightly okay, though.

First polling vote gave me 15, I think the next one went to 11.
First post nabbed me 75, then 55... kinda crazy, considering that they took some gold out of the place by having that donation drive thing. Maybe this boost is to counter that.
Ironic. Counter the massive amounts of gold by having a donation drive, then get more back anyway.

In Skittles world there's that wheel you can spin for a prize once a day. One of the options is winning some gold, I'm pretty sure you used to win at least several hundred gold when it landed on that, but today it just gave me 100g.

the aquarium does not give me much any more =[
i was under the impression that if you buy stuff for your aquarium you get better items or more gold
when i didnt have anything in my aquarium (except for the fishand overseer) i was getting items costing 4000-22000
now that i bought stuff for my aquarium ive been mostly getting 200-300 gold
weaksauce emo
