This underground passageway looks as though it has natural cave walls with only minor modifications. It runs from north to south and there is a metal grate blocking a dark opening in the west wall about halfway down the passage. If you stand in front of the grate you can hear strange sounds like faint whispers emanating from a black and twisted tunnel that looks like it leads further underground, there is a strange draft of cold air that seems to flow back and forth from here as though the cave below is breathing. The rest of this passageway is creepy as it is with strange shadows being cast on the walls and random bones lying about. It looks like the north end of this passage turns to the east. Go to the north end and turn eastGo south

I stop and pant, and I remove the eyeball stuck to my boot. I head north.

Mr. If stopped for a moment clutching the bone key. This summoning key would not bring Thralk forth again unless it were placed in a blood spattered skull and left in a raven's nest in a graveyard during a lunar eclipse but Mr. If knew he would never do that. After seeing Thralk in the flesh so to speak he knew this summoning key was too dangerous and should not be used.
Mr. If did not return the key to the key ring but rather put it in a pocket and continued on southward. Unfortunately he didn't notice that this particular pocket in his cloak had a hole in it and the bone key fell to the ground and bounced just beyond the grated passageway where a pale clawed hand reached out from the darkness to collect it.

Zphal ignored the creepy gate and continued down the path with her zombie-head soccer ball.
