Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue~ Release date- Japan: Feb 1995(B?) USA: (G: not released) Sept. 1998 _PF: G

With the first release of Red and Green in Japan, Pokémon started. The games follow a path. You start as a new trainer to catch all 150 Pokémon and collect all the badges. The Pokémon adventure games made an important milestone for Pokémon. Wait... I said Green didn't I? Nope not a mistake! With the first games the fans were disturbed by Pokémon Green's graphics. Red, its counterpart, was much different. A very common mis made graphic was Venusaur. Its trunk was very high. Because of this, within a few months, Green went off the market. Later, it was replaced with Pokémon Blue. Its graphics were just as good as Red's. In 1998 they were released in America. Well, only Red and Blue. Green forgotton, Pokémon learned an important lesson in graphic design. Don't screw up XD.

Pokémon Yellow Special Pikachu Edition~ Release date- Japan: Sept. 1998 USA: Oct. 1999 _PF: GB+GBC

The same time that Pokemon Red and Blue were released to America, Pokémon Yellow stepped up. In order to step up the popularity, Japan made a game that is based off of the Pokémon TV show. Your starter is of course, Pikachu. The game included never before seen features. Your Pokémon, Pikachu will follow you throughout the game on the map! With this Pika-pal, you can check his mood and make him happier. Many of the Pokémon were revamped to look more like the TV show! Also on your journey, you can catch all 3 starters just like Ash Ketchum himself. Because you didn't choose your starter, your rival gets an Eevee. Not only that, but, the maps each have their own color. and then you could catch the legendary Mew by being at a Nintendo event. The game was and still is the most popular and highest ranked Gameboy game ever made.

Pokémon Pinball~ Release date- Japan: Apr. 1999 USA: June 1999 _PF: GBC

Based off of Pokémon Red and Blue, trainers get a chance at catching 151 in a game of pinball. You choose between two different areas. Each one allows you to get certain Pokémon from that region. You can evolve those Pokémon too!

Pokémon Trading Card Game~ Release date- Japan Dec. 1998 USA: Mar 2000 _PF: GB+GBC

Giving people a chance at playing a card game on the Gameboy Color gave people the urge to collect cards more. This game is not as popular as some of the other Pokémon games but still keeps the fun going. Once again, you can catch 151 Pokémon, but this time, on cards.

Pokémon Snap~ Release date- Japan: Mar. 1999 USA: June 1999 _PF: N64

With the new Nintendo 64 on the market, Pokémon had to think up some new ideas! Pokémon Snap is one of them. You start out as a rookie photographer looking for some good shots. There are different levels for different Pokémon. The only disappointment to the fans is that it only featured 63 of the 151 Pokémon at the time.

Pokémon Puzzle League~ Release date: Japan USA: Sept. 2000 _PF: N64

Another game for N64 is Pokémon Puzzle League. This time it gives fans a chance at play Tetris, Pokémon style! You must complete different levels with different rules. The graphics are just like the anime too! this game can get VERY addicting.

Pokémon Stadium~ Release date- Japan: Apr. 1999 USA: Feb 2000 _PF: N64
Finnaly, Pokémon has gone... 3-D! You could then experience the trill of playing Pokémon in 3-D! It includes only 42 Pokémon though. It's a must have for your N64.
