Costume of the 16th century as worn by Anne Boleyn, one of the wives of Henry VIII. It consists of a full-length robe, with a long-sleeved, fitted bodice cut in a low, square neckline, and a bell-shaped skirt open from the waist to show a panel in front; a girdle with long ends hanging in front; loose oversleeves of fur; and a gable headdress.
