In response to the "songs for the sad" thread;
What songs actually make you cry? Whether it's because the song is basically your life summed up, or because the idea of the song is too much for you to handle, everyone has that song that literally brings a tear to their eyes. Not out of extreme hilarity, but because it's sad (there's a difference).
For me, it's "Nothing to Lose" by Billy Talent. Anyone who's heard the song should know why.

I have quite a few because I'm always listening to music. Usually it's because it means something to me. It's something I can relate to. I'll say one of them- 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park. One of my friends really cried when they saw the video.

One day on the ride to school I was listening to some music I had just added to my Ipod, and I find this song and I relate it to my best friend's life and I told her about it and she said it was so true for her. Now she loves the song and cries whenever it is played. I look for meanings in songs and often put them on repeat. Her song is: "What Hurts the Most" by CASCADA....and yes there is one by Rascal Flats, but who likes country. CASCADA has two different versions a techno one, and a simple heart warming one.

Eeeh ouch. I've teared up to a lot of songs. but I think the one I've cried the most to was 10,000 Days (Wings pt.2) - Tool
The lyrics just make me cry, originally it's written about Keenan's mother, but once you picture the song about your own mother, you just break down and start to cry.

i didn't know what it meant when i first heard it, and now that i've read up the translation it's not as powerful (the lyrics are really cliche) but there's this song by DBSK in japanese called 'Lovin' You'

i have never once cried at a song in my LIFE until my friend made up a song, but i didnt know the tune, i like to sing things aloud so i made up a tune and started crying. i freaked out cause it was MY VOICE first off and cause i never cried cause of a song. i figured out that the "goodbye" part of it probably was the cause, cause many a people have never said goodbye before they left. i call that f*cking CRULETY!!!!
