anybody know what i'm talking about?
i consider myself to be a 'stylish geek'.
I wear glasses, but the glasses are vogue designer.
and i'm into computers and stuff, but im also into fashion and shopping.
in other words, 'Yeah i can act like a geek, but i look dam good doing it!'
anybody else here with me? can anyone else say that?
if you kinda dont get what i mean, thats ok too. its just sorta like you act like a geek, but you can still act 'cool' and not be a snob.

I think that I am too.
I like the idea of a geek/nerd but can't get really interested in it. Like the people who want to be 'popular'....just the other way around.

I'm kind of a gothy nerd.
You don't have to worry about matching if all your clothes are black =]
Well, blacks don't always match, but the mundanes will never notice so it doesn't really matter.
I think people just assume that it's fashion if it looks weird-but-not-in-a-bad-way you can wear period clothing or subtle cosplays and people will probably think it's just a fashion they haven't seen.
I don't pay much attention to trends though, except to avoid them.

Me too.When I mentioned Dr.Who (cute pic!!!)I got the weirdest looks.They asked me if I was a nerd and I'm like"....yeah." and I swear they wouldn't have been more surprised if I had pulled an elephant out of my pants.

I'm geek chic, all the way. biggrin I make sure that I look good going outside, but I don't spend my time at American Eagle. Catch me with the DKNY jeans and shiny hair in the manga section at Barnes & Nobles, thankyouverymuch!
Plus, what the hell is so fun talking about guys all day long? Someone, please enlighten me!

+Geek =I'm a manga-loving, semi-smart girl who also happens to be an glasses-wearing asian. Geek by default I guess. rolleyes
+Chic = i love fashion (but can't afford couture) and get a lot of compliments at school and on the streets for some cheap outfits i put together.
accessorizing is everything =3
in may, my hair had violet streaks in it (which has sadly faded to light brown).
i HATE a lot of trends out there, and i'd rather wear goth-loli than neon (80s are sooo icky!)
