My best friend is getting married on July 21, 2007...

...And it's not going to happen in a line in front of the local Barnes & Noble. I don't understand it at all, because she actually waited in line for the sixth Harry Potter book and I didn't. Fortunately, I am getting the book shipped to my house the day it's released (not that I'd have skipped out on her wedding if I hadn't preordered the book online), but still...it's hard to believe anyone would schedule a wedding the same day as the last Harry Potter release!

So, I'm curious--what would any of you do if you were in my situation?

I would go to the wedding if I were you. 'Cause that's what friends are for, even though the book comes out...you were probably afraid that they might of probably ran out of books. Also maybe your friend schelduled the the wedding before they annoucned the HP7 book.
