What I understand, is that there is supposed to be a third Kingdom Hearts.

Your close, but not 100% correct too.
THere are supposed to be 3 new games coming out near the same time, none of them are titled Kingdom Hearts 3 though.

-Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep- Taking place about 10 years before Kingdom Hearts 1 (PSP)

-Kingdom Hearts Coded- A very unique game.... It's for the cell phone and I think it talks about Riku's past.

-Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days- Takes place right after Roxas joins Organization XIII and tells about his daily life in the Organization (DS)

I have kingdom hearts 1, chain of memories, and kingdom hearts 2, i beat all of them, and the awesomething is, even though chain of memories is for gameboy advanced, if you beat the game as sora, there is another option, letting you play as riku in what happened to him XD

so far, i have all three games, but i've only beat kingdom hearts 1 and 2. im still working on chain of memories. i can't wait for the new ones to come out! now if only i had a psp or nintendo ds

I actually sewed a Paopu fruit for my friend ^_^ It's so cute~ haha. I also bought these pink shoe slippers... they remind me of Kingdom Hearts and Kairi's shoes xD
