I have 500 gold and nothing to buy....give me some ideas.I know its impossible to get a rare item with 500 gold so suggest something you KNOW i can get for that much gold please and thank you

500 gold! Oh the possibilities! You could practically buy GaiaOnline itself!!
Shop around the NPC shops and look around. Generally most things they sell is 500 or under. Other than that you can probably buy a Mimzy or some other recent event item.

Try vending mimzys and labus.
Then move to watermeats, after that move onto the weaker donation items.

Tokens. If your good at poker, you can play cards. Sell the tickets you earn at 2 gold a piece or more on the MP. Instantly doubled gold.

There's always a good deal on the marketplace, but sometimes you have to wait around for it.

You can almost always pick up a Hockey mask for 100 - 150. The look cool and re-sell for 200 easily.

If I've got 500g to get rid of, I usually just enter 250-350 as the minimum price and 500 as the maximum, set the search option to "Lowest Buy Price" and then hit "Go" when I run a search in the MP. Then I browse through the results and check to see what's a good deal, or if there's something in those results that I just have to have.
