Here's my poem. Say what you think about it, but give a reason.
There lies a veil at the front of your mind-
A thin, strange veil which behind
Hides your true self, that which I seek
So tell me the sadness behind your eyes.
A tearful smile, a laughing frown,
Your expressions turn my thoughts upside-down,
But mysterious darkness prevents my knowing,
So tell me the sadness behind your eyes.
My dear friend, please let me find
What you hide from those who seek and pry
So tell me the sadness behind your eyes.
Please tell me the sadness behind your eyes,
For only then will I be satisfied.
