How can you stand that?
whenever my gold gets low I go on these selling frenzies, selling off the extra items for slightly cheaper than normally or buying a donation letter and selling it.
I just can't stand having no gold.
I do wish that I had bought my coco AFTER the prices went down though.
*le tear*
so terrible....

You know, the hard part about getting all the good stuff is that all those people getting the Angelic Staffs and CoCO Kitties are buying them for $2.50 from Gaia. They just chill out pocket change to watch up go item-hungry and spen a million gold trying to get them. If there was a way were you could get items like the Monthly collectibles without having to spend money on Gaia, THAT could stop the recession all together.

I'm not totally sure stopping the deflation is a good idea. I am getting tired of users who bought three things in 2003 leaving and coming back four years later richer than anybody else. I think you should be on the site and participating to become rich. Hyper-inflation means hoarding it the only necessary strategy. (boring)

I kinda favor Gaia deleting any unused accounts if they have been completely dormant for over two years.

Since I hit 0 gold, I have recovered and I rarely go below a million gold.

yeah, I agree..

but wauw, how do you get so many money?? - do you buy items with your credit card?? (because I don't want to do that.. but I need a damn lot and very expensive things for my house - and clothes for me)

I agree. If an account hasn't been active for two years or more I think they should clear it out of the system. It would probably free up some space on the servers as well. Some people would be pissed though.

Did you do the new users quest yet?
PostPosted: Wed May 02, 2007 8:06 am

Am i to believe theres actually people on gaia that are trying to "deflate" the prices?

What the hell is the logic to that, they wouldn't be earning as much gold as they could AND they make it harder for people who do know how to play the market to earn gold.

Can you actually still buy coco kitties for 2.50? Christ, if you could do that i'd totally up and buy 10 of those and make shitloads of money.

LOL, I'm with you on that one. If I could still buy old MCs for 2.50 real cash, I'd stock a ton of a few choice items.

On the down side, that means everyone else would be able to do that too, so online market value would deflate. Catch 22 rolleyes

Indeed.
I have yet to reach more than...30k at one time.
Marketplace hasnt been going so well for me.
Ah well.
My gold hits 0 every time I get one of my quest items anymore.
*sigh*
Ah well.
