Need ideas

Well, here i am stuck in darkness.
I would like to change my avi into something less dark, but i have no clue as what style to go for now.
So i would appreciate any ideas or suggestions on what to do.

Make something which you like, my avatar, not fancy, and it won't be even when completed, but she's cute and I like her so she's perfect. Choose a look that you'd like you see on an avatar and make it, just to show people it can happen, or do like I did, I knew I wanted a cat girl and I liked only the dark skin and the hair and eyes I have, so I went shopping to see what goes with it and green shows up really nice in a contrast so I got that too.
