Pandalover263 Okay, SOMEBODY was gonna do it if I hadn't done it first. We're gonna talk about dead people in the series. First of all... the people that have died: Cedric Diggory Sirius Black Albus Dumbledore And, as Lhia_Dunwaith pointed out, Bertha Jorkins Frank Bryce (the Muggle) Barty Crouch Sr. You also forgot Karkaroff. Someone(A member of the Order of the Phoenix, probably Mr. Weasley) mentioned they found him dead.

Honestly, I don't know which of the mains are going to die, but one thing's for certain: Whenever Harry gets particularly close to an adult, that adult dies, so I'm pretty sure that either Lupin, Hagrid, or the Weasley parents (or all of them) are going to kick the bucket.
Whether Harry dies or not...I think it depends predominantly on if he's a Horcrux or if he isn't. I've heard a bunch of theories out there, and I don't really know what to believe. Then again, I'm the kind of person who'd rather just read the book and see for myself. Still, if he's a Horcrux, he's probably going to die, since they all have to be destroyed.
Rowling herself said that she was going to spare a character she'd originally intended to kill, though, and to me the most logical course of action would be to kill Harry in the end. Does that mean Harry's not going to die? Or maybe she'd had something completely different in mind...
