I'd love to go to Germany. There's actually a scholarship program in the United States that pays for a couple of high school or college students to go to Germany and study there for a year. They pay for airfare, a language camp, and I think, school costs, but I'm not sure about that. I applied for it last year, but I didn't get it, so I'm gonna keep trying.

I spent 3 weeks in Germany with my German teacher and some friends 2 years ago. It was great. We stayed in Berlin for 2 weeks and traveled around Germany the last week, but we didn't go to Frankfurt.

I have never been in Frankfurt, but there are other plcaes which are cool too^^ eg: Berlin or Leipzig there are many things you can visit, monuments, museums,... and there is a special day in leipzig, where you can buy a lot of books of all over the world...

Frankfurt it self does not have a lot to see and it does not in any way represent the greatness of Germany and all it beauty and history! so if you can GET AWAY FORM FRANKFURT! go and see Wissenburg, Wurzburg, Nurmburg, Dachau. they are beautiful places. and their not that far just a few hours for each really. and each had its own beauty and history important to Germany.
for instance Wurzburg has the Residence (its the royal palace of united Germany) with one of the most amazing ceiling fresco's ever created!
Nurmburg had Hitlers Colosseum (which has been transformed in to a museum of everythign Hitler ever did and i mean EVERYTHING in full detail which has only actually been FULLY released in the past four or five years so it is a MUST SEE) and then there are other really cool things there too!
and Dachau has the Dachau concentration camp if you are interested in seeing World War Two history up close and personal (its very well preserved and also the camp was the second worst next to Auschwitz)
these are just a few of the places that i have been that have great history, art, architecture and just true Germany beauty and heritage! so go there and stay away from the most of Frankfurt...its really nothing like Germany at all!!! If you want more info on Germany just message me! keep up the faith Cleopatra LV Tempus
