Ozumou Has the worlds largest working sundial. O_o; That definately makes me want to go somewhere. rolleyes That's like saying Spokane, Washington is the methamphetamine capital of the world, or the place where father's day was invented or it has the world's largest steel-framed cloth butterflies.

well ... QLD pwns NSW. *is referring to state of origin*
However, when visiting australia, I suggest people don't just go to the cities but go outback and see the real australia.
Or go to the great barrier reef. Where I live. Ish beautiful. Paradise. Loong, lovely sandy beaches. Warm temperatures, and hardly any highly venomous animals..

In Victoria, a must see is TGOR - The Great Ocean Road and the 7 apostles.
Wineries - Mornington Peninsula, Hickinbothams, Mont Alto then over to Heathcote and MUST see Tahbilk, taste the awesome David Traeger (on main street) and seek out to taste some of the best kept secret wines from Paul Osika, get in your car (if you're able) and drive off to Rutherglenn for some fantastic fortifieds, stock up on the Port to put down for a decade or more and revel in the stickies, tokay to make your heart sing....Hope in a plane and get yourself to the best of the best, McLaren Vale in SA and try everything there....Coriole is a gorgeous vineyard to lunch at and..uhm, not that I'm into wine or anything...nah.
oh and if you still have the capacity, you might give the Hunter Valley NSW Mudgees a try - the huge full mouth feel from winemakers that aren't afraid to make a big, no HUGE wine that stands up to just about any heavy, spicy food you put up against it!
ah, and you can check out the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island in Victoria as well. See, I do other things besides drink!
