Has anyone read the dirk Gently novels? My favorite was the long dark tea time of the soul. that was hillarious! No one can do comedy science fiction like Douglas Adams.

I think Adams' Green book was his best non-fiction work...
I think the First Hitchikers is still his best ever!
and that Pratchett is better than Adams (partly coz he is not dead yet)

I love Douglas Adams, and I still make Odin puns all the time after reading that book.
