Captain

Beloved Friend

Previously... gaia_moon
The group had just finished transforming and immediately rushed into battle.

Sailor Uranus was the first to strike!
Quote:
"World... Shaking!"

Both Star Healer and Star Maker took off one after the other, heading in the direction of Kira and Alita.

Seeing Tuxedo Mask turn his attention to Sailor Star Catcher, he spoke:
Quote:
"Sailor Chibi-Moon is right; we need to engage these youma carefully, so as not to harm the humans they now possess. Sailor Moon, if Sailor Star Catcher and I provide a sufficient distraction, do you think you and Sailor Chibi-Moon can heal the youma?"

Sailor Moon nodded and walked up to Tuxedo Mask. "I'll give it a try!" At that moment, Sailor Moon held out her hand to summon her Eternal Tiare

User Image

"Starlight Honey Moon Therapy... KISS!!" But that did nothing to the youmas. "Eh?!"

The wrong move happened and the youma took another hit towards Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, moreso, Tuxedo Mask. Sailor Moon had seen her loved one get hit, his body slamming into the ground with a sickening thud as the massive youma’s clawed limb swept through the air. Her heart stopped for a moment took a few steps forward, but there was no sign of him in the dust and debris.
"Mamo-chan?! Mamo--!!!" she cried out, her voice cracking with worry and panic. Her eyes frantically scanned the area, praying to see him get back on his feet. She was about to rush toward him when another vicious attack from the youma sent a violent lash of its arm straight at her.
With a sharp intake of breath, she dove to the side, barely avoiding the strike. Her body hit the ground hard, crashing into a nearby bush. "Nnnngh!" she gasped as the impact knocked the wind out of her. Her limbs ached as she struggled to get up, her breath coming in shallow gasps.
Shaking off the branches that clung to her, Sailor Moon pushed herself upright and looked back toward the battle. The youma towered over them, its strength seeming to grow with every attack it absorbed. Her heart pounded in her chest as the reality of the situation settled in.
"How on earth are we supposed to beat this thing?!" she thought, her mind racing. Every attack they’d thrown at it had done nothing, and now it was only growing stronger. Her limbs felt heavy, and the weight of the battle threatened to crush her spirit.
She gritted her teeth, trying to shake off the fear gnawing at her. She couldn’t afford to lose hope—not when so many were relying on her. But doubt crept in with every passing second, and Sailor Moon felt the terrifying sense that this fight might be one they couldn’t win.

Luna darted out into the open and shouted "Sailor Moon!!"

"Dammit," Star Catcher muttered to herself, throwing her attack toward the youma, hoping to distract it. She bit her lower lip, her thoughts racing back to what Tuxedo Mask had said.
"Okay, let's at least try to move them away from the area!"
With that, Star Catcher jumped into the air, hovering as she summoned small, tennis ball-sized spheres that surrounded her body, spinning rapidly. To activate her attack, she called out,

User Image

"Star... Comet Shower!" Raising both hands into the air, she managed to swim a large number of spheres, then directed her arms toward the youma, which was Kira's teacher. Each energy ball struck the youma, creating a wall of smoke, as though an explosion had gone off. Star Catcher could see the figure in the smoke. "What?! How is it not taking damage?!" she cried out in frustration.

Watching the others attack made Star Catcher wonder if there was something she wasn't seeing. It didn't feel like a typical victory when she attacked; something seemed really wrong, and she couldn't shake the feeling of foreboding.

Sailor Venus watched in frustration as the youma grew larger with each attack. "This isn’t working
they’re getting bigger every time we hit them!"

User Image

"Jupiter! Oak... Evolution!!" Sailor Jupiter shouted, spinning into action. Leaves like razor-sharp daggers flew off her body, slamming into the youma with a force that made them stagger—but the monsters only grew larger with each strike.
"Jupiter, it’s only making them stronger! We need to do something different!" Venus yelled over the chaos of the battle.
"Yeah? Like what? You got a better idea?" Jupiter scoffed.

User Image

"Silver Moon... Crystal Power!!!" Sailor Moon flew toward the youma. But again, the youma only grew larger, their power feeding off the attacks, especially from Sailor Moon.

User Image

"Sailor Moon!" Chibi-Moon cried out.
Each blow, each strike, only seemed to make them stronger. It was like their efforts were futile—each hit only pushed the youma further beyond their control.
"This is impossible! The more we hit them, the bigger they get!" Venus clenched her fists in frustration.

User Image

"We need a new strategy, now!"
Sailor Mercury, scanning the situation quickly, replied, "There must be a weakness. If we can find their core, we might have a chance."
Venus whipped out her Love Chain, determination flashing in her eyes."Alright, let’s try something else," she said, swinging the chain toward one of the youma.

User Image

"Venus... Love Me Chain!" The chain wrapped around the creature’s limb, but it only seemed to feed off the energy, causing it to keep growing. "Ugh, this isn’t working!" Venus growled.

"Jupiter...Coconut Cyclone!"
User Image

Sailor Jupiter called out in alarm, "We need to stop them before they get any stronger! We can’t let them keep growing!"
Venus gritted her teeth. "I know, Jupiter! Just keep them busy—I’ll figure something out!" Her eyes narrowed as she focused on the youma, trying to think of a way to bring them down. "Come on
there's gotta be something we can---" Pausing, she was cut off by Sailor Moon's voice.

User Image

"EVERYONE! The youma's are disappearing! We did it!!" Sailor Moon cried out, hugging Sailor Jupiter. Both youmas started to sink into the ground slowly.
But... that seemed too easy, right?

The Eternal Senshi was happy it was over, but she wanted to find Tuxedo Mask, he was still nowhere to be seen. "Mamo-chan?!" She called out again.

Sailor Venus felt something lightly touch the tip of her nose as Sailor Moon called out to everyone. She glanced down and noticed a pink cherry blossom petal floating gently to the ground. "A... cherry blossom?"
"AH! Look! Look!" Eternal Sailor Moon pointed up into the sky. Sailor Venus looked up, and it felt like time suddenly stopped. Reaching up, Sailor Venus wanted to catch one of the petals as it drifted down toward her hand---

These were the cherry blossom petals from Alita's hair . . .

Kira nodded. "That's correct." She looked out the window on her side for a moment, gathering her thoughts, then turned back to Star Healer. "Like I said... we... we need to have a long chat."

Kira's expression grew pensive as she spoke again. She didn’t want to leave Star Healer hanging. "Princess Nova... she didn’t have anyone special. But me, in this life... I do. I mean, we’re already different people. This whole destiny, future, and past self stuff... I can’t reflect or project myself the way people want me to. Luna showed me some pretty horrific images when she tried to give me my memory back, and I just... I don’t know. I freaked out, I guess, and ran away. Deep down, I knew who I was, but I just wanted to ignore it. I guess I can't, huh?" Kira frowned and shook her head. "But, in saying that, I have a better understanding of what things really are..."

Quote:
"Let me get this straight... you have no recollection of recent events? Nothing at all?"

Turning back to answer Star Healer’s question, Kira gave some reassurance. "Don't worry, I still vividly remember our interactions. It just felt more like a dream, you know...like...meeting an idol, falling in love with them, and everything seemed hazy. It's not now, I'm not confused anymore, and..." Her expression shifted to one of determination. "I know now what I want to do with my life."

User Image

She hoped that would clear up any lingering questions Star Healer might have had.

The timing was perfect. After hearing that the Three Lights weren't going to split up, Alita smiled and gave Star Maker some space as she slid into the car, taking the seat behind Kira on the passenger side, while Star Maker sat behind Star Healer. Star Healer asked Kira where they were going, but there was no immediate answer—Kira didn’t get around to responding.

As all the car doors shut, Star Maker leaned forward a little, her body angled diagonally from Kira. "So... where did you both plan to go?"

Kira turned slightly toward her but still kept her body front-facing. "Anywhere but here. We were planning on just... driving until we hear from Liara, to be honest."
Alita nodded in agreement and exchanged a glance with Star Maker. Kira raised an eyebrow for a moment, then paused as she thought to herself. "Wait, why are there two Starlights here? Can’t they fly?" She seemed perplexed about having them in the car. "Uh...so... why are you both here anyway? Shouldn’t you be with the others helping them?"
"They wanted to protect us," Alita whispered, smiling. "Ooooh? Is that so?" Kira questioned, turning back to face the front. "Well..." she said, reaching for the radio. "I guess we could play some music for our little road trip?" Kira asked, pressing some buttons to turn the radio on.

User Image

"That's right! They changed form! The Three Lights are—"

"Nope." Kira cut off the broadcast, switching radio stations and making it clear she didn’t want to listen to the news report about her friends.

"Havoc in the city center! Currently, the Sailor Senshi are fighting—speaking of which, did you see the Three Lights—"

Kira sighed and turned off the radio entirely before slumping back in her seat with a pout. "Okay, well, let's not listen to that. Silence it is," she muttered under her breath as she reversed out of the parking space and began driving down the motorway.

User Image

Her speed picked up as she glanced into the rearview mirror and saw the large youma in the distance—towering as tall as the archery building. "Anyways... speaking of... what were you guys thinking?! You transformed in front of a mass amount of people! How are you going to fix this? People can't know who you really are! Sheesh.." Annoyed, Kira huffed in disappointment while Star Maker tried to laugh it off.

User Image

"Don't worry, that's the least of our worries and we'll figure something out, right Healer?" Trying to reassure Kira.

Alita was focused on her phone, tracking something on the app she used to keep tabs on any youma activity.

Kira was focused on driving—well, mostly. Every now and then, she glanced at Star Healer just shifting her eyes, checking on her every now and then. Meanwhile, Alita, being a bit more energetic, had a brilliantly dangerous idea and pressed the button to roll down her side window, unbuckling her safetybelt. She poked her head out, squinting into the distance to see if she could spot the youma. Placing her phone in the middle of the seat, she propped herself up with both hands on the window ledge, half of her body hanging out the window as the wind whipped her hair. Her bun started to loosen from the speed as she took the risk to get a better view.

"Hm?--Hey! What are you—be careful!" Star Maker called out in alarm, reaching for Alita’s arm to pull her back inside or at least offer some support. Kira’s eyes darted from the road to the rearview mirror when she heard the window roll down behind her. "Alita! Get back in! That's dangerous!" Kira shouted.

But Alita ignored the warnings. She dug her fingertips into the rubber edges of the window ledge as her hair blew in all directions. Three cherry blossom flowers she had tucked into her hair flew up into the air, scattering in the wind as she tried to catch them, but they quickly disappeared into the sky. A gasp escaped her as she tried to control her wild hair with one hand, still holding onto the window with the other.
"Alita!!" Maker yelled, trying to pull her back inside. Alita looked up at the sky until she couldn’t see the flowers anymore, then pulled herself back into the car. As soon as she was back inside, she was met with a lecture. "Why did you do that?!" Star Maker exclaimed, her voice full of concern. Kira chimed in, equally worried. "Ali! You could’ve fallen out! Don’t do that again!" Kira quickly flicked the switch to roll the window back up on Alita’s side.

"Sorry, sorry!" Alita said in a hushed carefree tone, running her fingers through her hair to try to untangle the mess. "I just wanted to see where the youma was, but now it's out of sight and it’s off the radar on my app."

Kira furrowed her brow and turned glanced at Alita. "What?" she asked abruptly, trying to grasp what Alita had just said. Meanwhile, Star Maker had already picked up the phone and was checking for herself. She gasped when she noticed that there was no red dot—no signs of the youma in the area they had left that Alita had pinned, it was gone.
"What are you saying—" Star Maker started to ask, but her words were cut short when she looked up and saw Kira’s eyes were off the road for just a split second as Kira just asked 'What'.

And then, it happened. The youma had appeared right in front of them.

"KIRA! YOUMA!"" Star Maker shouted, pointing toward the front.

(it's still daylight, but the car does this)
User Image

Turning back, Kira’s eyes widened as she realized they were about to crash head-on into the youma. In a split second, she swerved the car, gripping the steering wheel tightly as she shouted, "HANG ON!!!" The car spun out of control, performing a sharp, dizzying 'donut' maneuver. The youma was dangerously close, and Star Maker’s first reaction was to reach over with one arm to unbuckle herself, seeing Alita had done so prior when she hung herself out the window moments ago. Star Maker tackled Alita, holding her with one arm around her waist, pushing her toward the car door. With her other hand, she flung the door open in an attempt to get them both out. It happened so swiftly. "HEALER!!!" she shouted, hoping Star Healer would do the same for Kira.

It was lucky both Starlights were there; Star Maker was able to glide further away from the youma and land, still holding onto Alita. It happened so fast, but Star Maker managed to speak in a worried tone. "Are you okay?" she asked Alita, who was in a state of shock, but she managed to nod a few times while looking at the youma in disbelief.

User Image

Meanwhile, Kira and Star Healer landed together, facing the youma, which looked as if it had increased in size. "How on earth did it find us?!" Kira cried out, trying to fathom the situation.

"It looks as if both youmas have merged into one. If that app is correct, there is no youma back at the archery stadium."
"So, it followed us?!"
"It seems so. I'll try and contact the others." Star Maker said letting go of Alita, and pressing her headset. Alita looked even more worried than before, as her eyes shifted to Kira. "No..." she whispered to herself, then turned to Kira. As the youma inched closer towards them, Alita ran up to Kira. "The youma... it's after you, your power. No matter where we go, it will follow us. We have to defeat it here."
"But... what?! What do you mean 'after my power?!' How does it even know?!" Kira cried out.
Alita shook her head, unsure how to answer that. Alita seemed to know more than she let on, but time was running out for her to give Kira an answer. Star Maker returned to them during this.
"Comms are broken, I can't reach anyone, not even Star Fighter."
"They will come shortly, trust me." Alita whispered, her whisper inching towards being vocal as she got louder. "They will sense something is wrong, and they will come. We have to protect Kira." Alita was right, Sailor Mars would be the first to sense it almost instantly.
Star Maker frowned. What could they do about it? Nothing. They just had to do what they could until help arrived.
"...Take care of Kira, let's go, Healer." Star Maker said, and took off towards the youma. Kira opened her mouth, but nothing came out except for, "B-Becareful, Healer, please." Kira uttered, holding both her hands and placing them towards her chest as she looked worried.
Once both Starlights had gone towards the youma, Alita watched them depart and looked back at Kira, as she contemplated her thoughts on how she could help, even if it was just a little bit.

User Image

Star Maker landed and looked up at the youma, pressing her headset again; all she heard was static. Still nothing. "Dammit!" she sharply said in a frustrated tone, then got into her attack stance.

User Image

"Star Gentle... Uterus!" Her attack hit the youma, but it wasn't enough—not even a scratch. Seeing that her attack actually made the youma angrier, the youma swung its arm, attempting to strike them, causing Star Maker to jump back and block whatever attack the youma was about to dish out.
Standing nearby, Alita and Kira watched; already Alita seemed on edge as she watched.

User Image

Alita looked at Kira, who was watching Healer and Maker fight the youma. She gripped both her hands into fists and walked in front of Kira to get her to look at her.
"...This is my fault... Ali... this is just going to keep happening, isn't it?" Kira said in a quiet voice only Alita could hear. "Is this punishment for refusing to transform? All because of that?... what a horrible person I am. Why am I so selfish?" Kira said, almost in a mumble but loud enough for Alita to hear her.

User Image

Seeing the hurt displayed on Kira's face made Alita feel sad. "You are the Celestial Princess.. remember? We all support you and your choices. You will do what you feel is right," She whispered. Placing both hands on either side of Kira's shoulders, she continued, "Just... like I have to... do what is right too." With her left arm, Alita pulled Kira into a hug and closed her eyes. Her whisper was so quiet and with her right hand she took something from her pocket nonchalantly and held onto the object, putting her hand around Kira's waist. "Forgive me..."
Alita's hands and the object she held had a faint pink glow to them. As she held Kira still, there was a barrier that lifted from the ground, and what appeared to be a half-crystal, see-through dome encased both girls inside. It happened rather quickly, enough for Kira to pull away and react with a gasp, but it was too late for her to now do anything.
"What... what the hell is this?!" Kira asked, looking around, then noticed the object Alita was holding, recognizing it almost instantly. "Alita..." Kira said quietly in shock. "What the hell...?"

User Image

User Image

The outside noises seemed to mute around them, and vice versa. Any noise inside the dome was muted from the outside too.
Alita smiled pensively; she looked rather sad to answer Kira and turned around, taking a few steps towards the edge of the dome and placing one hand on the dome itself about to leave.
"Where are you going?! Alita!!" Kira's voice and words seemed confused, uncertain and panicked. Alita stopped, turned her body slightly to look at Kira, and answered. However, when she answered... she wasn't whispering, she spoke words. SPOKE with a voice.

"I have to..."

User Image

"...protect my Princess."

Alita's voice was quite feminine, but soft and gentle as she spoke. A glow from her forehead flickered. That moment passed by, letting those words sink in. Turning back, Alita's hand pushed through the crystal dome, and she stepped out. Kira stood there, completely stunned and full of shock! What just happened?! "ALITA!!!!" Kira ran towards the dome, placing both hands on it then attempted to punch it several times, trying to get out. Her mouth moved calling her name, but no voice came out; you couldn't hear anything from inside the dome.
Alita continued to walk carefully. Star Maker and Star Healer were both busy attacking the youma to notice what Alita did, until Star Maker noticed Alita standing next to her as if she just 'appeared' out of nowhere. Her eyes widened as she was about to ask where Kira was, then turned around to glance at Kira who was trapped inside a half sphere. "Where's K--?!!! What happened to her??" Star Maker's voice said loudly, not expecting the next thing to happen.

User Image

"I have to protect my Princess," Alita answered, repeating her sentence from before with not even a hint of the whisper, not even looking at either of them. Her focus was on the youma as she extended both arms towards her front and held onto her henshin wand.

User ImageUser Image

Star Maker was already shocked, but even more so when Alita's body slowly started to glow. A thick pink glowing aura emitted from her body around her and the henshin wand as Alita was focusing all her energy in that. As she did so, almost instantly a symbol appeared on her forehead, which also captured Star Maker's attention. "Your..." Star Maker murmured, realizing that Alita was in fact, a Sailor Senshi.

User Image

Seconds later, the youma struck all three of them, but just in time for Alita to use her powers. Another crystal-like wall came up from the ground, but this was an open, straight wall that separated the youma from them and deflected the youma's attack, making it bounce off the crystal see-through wall.
If it wasn't for Alita's defense, they would have been hit.

Meanwhile ~ ~ ~

User Image

--- Sailor Venus had been looking up, noting something floating down towards her as she extended her hand to capture the cherry blossom petal that floated gently in the sky. As it came down directly to Sailor Venus among others, the moment the petal touched the gloved beauty's hand, she received a vision at the same time Sailor Mars realized where the youma was and in what direction.

User Image
User Image

Sailor Venus's eyes widened as she recalled a memory with a sharp inhale and reacted rather quickly, turning to her Princess, Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon gave the blonde Senshi a worried expression.
"...Venus?"

User Image
User Image

"SAILOR LIBRA!!!" She exclaimed as she had an epiphany, getting the attention of Star Catcher. "Alita! She's in trouble, THEY ALL ARE!" she cried out.

User Image
"What?!" Sailor Moon exclaimed, shocked that Venus had just said that.

Now able to sense the youma's presence again, Star Catcher felt a chilling sensation when Sailor Venus said that sentence and took off like a shooting star in the direction where the youma and the four were.
Feeling a pulling sensation, like Alita was calling her, Venus had never felt so strongly about someone else before, besides Sailor Moon, and deep within her heart, she knew she was needed elsewhere.
"We have to go, NOW!" urgency was in the Senshi's tone, almost sounding demanding.

Luna narrowed her eyes; it was strange that Venus, of all people, would sense something as strongly as Mars would. Without any further notice, Luna shouted at the group. "Everyone! We need to teleport to them!"

User Image

"But what about Mamo-chan?! We can't just leave him behind!" Sailor Moon cried out, her voice cracking with distress. Her heart felt as if it was being torn in two. He had always been there for her—fighting by her side, protecting her. She couldn't just walk away from him now.
"Sailor Moon!" Luna’s voice rang out, firm and resolute. Her eyes flashed with determination. "Artemis and I will look for him. We’ll find him, I promise you. But there’s no time to separate yourself right now. He wouldn’t want you to risk everyone else’s safety for him. You can’t stay here!"

Sailor Moon’s breath hitched in her chest as she looked at Luna, her face filled with both fear and confusion.
The winged Senshi frowned, she hesitated, and reluctantly nodded and joined the rest of the group.

They knew the drill, and to do this, they all formed a circle almost immediately, held hands, and chanted;

"Sailor Planet Teleport!" Their bodies lit up, and they vanished from that location.

User Image

Star Catcher was the first to arrive and witnessed Alita standing next to Star Maker. Star Catcher's eyes widened with disbelief. She couldn't unsee this at all and was quite shocked.
Running beside Alita on the other side, she didn't want to disrupt Alita, but at the same time, she couldn't believe her eyes. "ALITA!! You'll hurt yourself if you continue, STOP!!" Gritting her teeth, Star Catcher tried to take the henshin wand from her grasp, but Alita fought it off as she pulled away. "Let me do this!" Alita said, sounding firm. "Alita! You're going to die if you continue! You have to stop!"
"...Die?!" Star Maker questioned loudly, even more in shock.
Sailor Star Catcher looked at Maker for a moment, knowing this wasn't the time or place, but she needed to vent her worries to the broader Starlights too.

User Image

"Alita.. she's terminally ill and fragile, I don't want her using any source of power because she will die! It's too much for her body to handle! She can't transform because her body is too weak, this is too much already!"

User Image

Pausing Star Catcher pleaded again, turning her attention to Alita "Please! Stop this Ali! The Sailor Senshi are coming now, you can rest!"
"No! I want to help! I have to protect Kira!" Alita argued back, she was stubborn. Where was Kira? Star Catcher didn't see her straight away. "Where is she?!"
"Over there!" Star Maker said, pointing to the enclosed Kira, who looked distressed.
"Kira!" Star Catcher called out. She could see Kira clearly mouthing her name, but she wasn't able to hear her.
"You knew about this?! About Alita?!" Star Maker asked, obviously still trying to comprehend Alita speaking, let alone having Senshi powers and NOW KNOWING she's terminally ill!
"It's not as simple as you think!" Star Catcher answered, and put her arms out slightly as her red sphere balls appeared, and that rapid spinning sound was heard as she was about to attack.
"I'll explain later, I promise! Just help us defeat the youma first, please!"
Star Catcher was about to open her mouth again to object, but the other Sailor Senshi arrived now, and some called out to them. Firstly, Chibi Moon noticed Kira and ran toward the dome, thinking she was in trouble.

User Image

"Kira-chan?!" Placing her gloved hand on the dome, trying to push it, but it was solidly closed off. "Kira-chan!! I'll get you out!!" she cried out again.

User Image

Star Catcher heard Chibi Moon crying out to Kira. "Sailor Chibi Moon! We need everyone to attack together!" Knowing how hard it was to watch Kira in there, it was to protect her without having to worry if she gets caught in the attacks. "But--Kira-chan is stuck!!"
"I put her in there! She'll be fine! Please, hurry and attack! I don't know how long I can hold this barrier up!" Alita cried out, hoping everyone could hear her, her voice was already strained from talking, let alone yelling.
Sailor Venus didn't waste anytime and ran beside Star Catcher.

User Image

"Rolling Heart...VIBRATION!"

Once everyone came together in a line, Alita's defense wall grew, and extended so it covered everyone. Kira watched for a moment, she took out her transformation wand and looked at it, then back at the group that were ahead, fighting the youma.

The moment the sailor scouts heard Sailor Uranus' attack, "World... Shaking!" The battle had moved from everyone transforming, protecting to actually attacking.

After promising Chibi-Moon that no one would cause harm upon the humans who had been transformed into youmas, Tuxedo Mask stepped into the frey. Hearing the only physical man in the group speak up, made everyone pay heed to what he had to say. Even though his attention was directed towards Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi-Moon and Sailor Star Catcher at this point.

"Sailor Chibi-Moon is right; we need to engage these youma carefully, so as not to harm the humans they now possess. Sailor Moon, if Sailor Star Catcher and I provide a sufficient distraction, do you think you and Sailor Chibi-Moon can heal the youma?"

It was obvious that something was said between Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask at that point. The moment Sailor Moon was in the process of taking the next necessary steps, she called out in her attack!

"Starlight Honey Moon Therapy... KISS!!"

Both Sailor Uranus' and Sailor Moon's attacks hardly placed a dent into the youma! The apparent look of frustration was evident! Sailor Mercury and Sailor Pluto had dropped their walls of protection and moved towards the others. Mercury turned her head to the side and addressed Sailor Mars at that point, "Sailor Mars! I think it's our turn to combine powers, shall we?"

Sailor Mars nodded her head determined, "You don't have to ask me twice! Let's do this!!"

User Image

Without seconds to lose, Sailor Mercury moved her gloved arms into position as blue water energy orbs of water began to swirl and pulsate as she called out, "Mercury Aqua Mist!" Allowing the energy to built up steam power, she released a steam-based-fog-mist attack that was thrown in the direction of the youma, hoping that her power merging with Sailor Mars would allow room for Sailor Pluto to add to their fog/mist - fire sniper assault!

User Image

Holding out her right hand to side, fire ignited within Sailor Mars' grasp! The flames from within her palm began to circulate around surround her forearm before the flames leapt up into the air taking on the shape of a arched, golden recurve bow made of fire. Pulling back on the string, looking straight ahead at her intended target.

As the fog appeared to thicken in the surrounding area and possibly blind the youmas with the mist in the mix. This allowed Sailor Mars to let loose her flaming arrow shouting out her attack! "Mars, FLAME SNIPER!" As the arrow was let loose firing, straight and flying swiftly into the air, the tail of the arrow became alit in flames trailing behind it. The arrow impacted along the surface of the youma causing steam to rise with the mixture of ice and fire combining their power against the intended target.

Wind appeared to whip up in the background behind Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars, as a familiar chant could be heard speaking forth behind a glowing garnet orb. "DEAD SCREAM!"

User Image

The wind increased surrounding a silhouetted figure that slowly emerged from the shadows of her comrades. Power pulsated from the garnet orb, as the light from within brightened outwards. Sailor Pluto could feel the vibrations that flowed throughout the length of her staff, knowing that it was time to release the blast. Gripping the body of the staff firmly as she spun the glowing staff in the direction of the youma. Releasing the power that had been building as seconds ticked by. The light erupted forward, moving swiftly across the field in a violet spherical ball of light; moving past her colleagues and striking the youma with the combination of their powers to help enhance the impacting strike.

As the frozen mist evaporated from the flame sniper strike and dead scream. Their trio attack did nothing! A look of shock was evident between the trio as they turned to see both Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus try one last time.

"EVERYONE! The youma's are disappearing! We did it!!"

Upon hearing Sailor Moon shout out to all of them, that the youmas' were disappearing, Sailor Pluto couldn't help but feel that this was not the end. "I don't believe this is the last that we will see of them." Spoken in a low tone as she traded her glance away from their princess over towards the others. Holding onto her staff securely, as she stared across the way with obvious concern for what lies ahead.

User Image

After none of their attacks combined seemed to do anything, Sailor Mars could not shake the feeling that something was off. The sudden disappearing act for the two youmas to just melt away from the scenery before them really had her on edge. She started to say something, she noticed out of her peripheral vision, Sailor Venus' attention appeared elsewhere. And something was beginning to fall down from the sky. To small to see at first but upon closer observation, it was obvious several pink petals were spiraling down to the ground before all of them.

"AH! Look! Look!"

"What is that?" Sailor Mercury said, reaching up to tap the side of her temple, as she craned her head back so that she could look skyward.

User Image

At first, it was just a few pink petals spiraling down from the sky down towards the gathering. Then it seemed more began to rain downwards. But where they were standing, there were no cherry blossom trees nearby. Sailor Mars stood there watching the falling of the petals before her, and in the process to reaching up to hopefully catch a cherry blossom petal. One petal landed along the space of her and tiara. Leaving Sailor Mars standing there with an expression of something was wrong.

There was a flash of light that blinded Sailor Mars briefly, her reaction was to raise her hand up to shield her eyes. But it wasn't light out the outside. The light was within her mind --- a vision!

Too many images flashed before Sailor Mars' eyes as she was trying to focus on what was being placed on display. The light was reflecting on something causing the images that had once been blurry start to take shape. The other thing, she realized was that she was not alone in this vision. Shifting her gaze off to the side she saw Sailor Venus was there with her. Noticing that Sailor Venus had been in the process of reaching upwards for a petal when it seemed to activate something within Sailor Venus the moment the petal landed upon her gloved hand.

Together, Sailor Venus and Sailor Mars began to see the revelation of the vision together on the astral plane. And at that very moment the vision became clear as day. A spontaneous surprised gasp erupted suddenly from Sailor Mars in reaction to the abrupt shattering of the shared connection as Sailor Venus was the first to severe the connection.

"...Venus?"

"SAILOR LIBRA!!!"

"Alita! She's in trouble, THEY ALL ARE!"

"What?!"

Gathering her senses, Sailor Mars turned towards Sailor Moon, with a serious expression as she backed up Sailor Venus' call to depart immediately. "Venus is absolutely right, we need to leave NOW!"

It did not take too much more convincing of how much danger the others were in as they all watched a shooting star disappear up towards the sky in the blink of an eye.

"We have to go, NOW!"
"Everyone! We need to teleport to them!"

There was no hesitation among any whom were present. One by one, hands connected as their powers combined.

"Sailor Planet Teleport!"

User Image

It did not take their transportation long, as boots and heels touched the ground as they arrived. The first to call out and break away from the ground was Sailor Chibimoon. Her cries could be heard above the sounds of fighting in the distance.

"Kira-chan?! Kira-chan!! I'll get you out!!"
"Sailor Chibi Moon! We need everyone to attack together!"
"But--Kira-chan is stuck!!"
"I put her in there! She'll be fine! Please, hurry and attack! I don't know how long I can hold this barrier up!"

As Sailor Venus moved to stand beside Sailor Star Catcher, she was the first to spring into the fight. Throwing out her post powerful attack!
"Rolling Heart...VIBRATION!"

Sailor Mars bolted past the others to join Sailor Venus on her right side. As she came to a sliding stop, she turned on with her left hand lit in flames as she drew a perfect circle in the air that surrounded her figure. A ring of fire hovered before Sailor Mars as she flexed her arms towards her as she focused on her chi energy to enhance her attacking strike. Several spherical orbs began to glow intensely before her before erupting into balls of fire intensifying with her energy, as she chanted out loud. "Mars Celestial Fire -- SURROUND!!" Pulling her arms together as the palms of her hands cupped forth honing the power of all of the flaming orbs being absorbed by her hands momentarily. Several kanji symbols lit up in the air beside, Sailor Mars as she released her attack! Multiple spinning-flaming-discs were thrown forth by force of her fire, thrown in the direction of the enemy!

User Image

One by one Sailor Senshi stepped up to the plate to defeat the enemy before them and to protect Kira! Just as Alita had erected up a barrier to protect Kira and the others as they all fought the abominations.

"Mercury.. Aqua Rhapsody!!"
The vibrations being played off of Sailor Mercury's water harp as she strummed the strings, several columns of water spiraled up and out shooting towards the enemy, using the tune to overpower and freeze them!

"Chronos Typhoon!"

Winds began to whip wildly surrounding Sailor Pluto as she lifted up her staff before her as she spun in place releasing a strong cyclone-like rush of energy towards the youmas.

TUXEDO LA SMOKING BOMBER! Tuxedo mask cried, thrusting a gloved hand forward as a white-blue beam of energy fired from his palm toward the youma. It collided with one of them in an explosion-- but did nothing. "Tch--!" His blue eyes widened, realizing now what the senshi had all started to slowly discover for themselves; these youma were only growing larger and more powerful each time they absorbed one of their attacks.

Before he could react, Tuxedo would find himself batted aside like he was nothing by the large claw of one of the youma. His long cape billowed as he was sent hurtling into a nearby snack-cart. Tuxedo Mask winced, and grit his teeth, hissing the word "D-damnit--" He then collapsed in a crumpled heap, slipping into unconsciousness.

Tuxedo Mask would come to just in time to watch the senshi and the cats teleport away. He could only assume the Youma were on the move, and the senshi were off to pursue them. Jumping to his feet, Tuxedo Mask would brush the dirt and debris off his sleeve. He wasn't exactly sure where the senshi were headed, but if he got a move on he was certain he would find them eventually. Before he could leave, however, the earth prince felt a presence that made him stop dead in his tracks. It was familiar, but he didn't quite know why. It wasn't one that he could immediately recognize-- and why did it make the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end?

Tuxedo Mask would turn in the direction of the presence, and his eyes would widen with shock. Suddenly, flashbacks of his destruction all those years ago started to run through his mind. His heart thudded hard against his chest, and his entire form felt paralyzed; it was her. "You--", Tuxedo Mask finally mattered to utter, his breath catching in his throat. Sailor Moon had told him about what happened with Sailor Galaxia, how things ended. How she had redeemed herself. It didn't change that the last time they had seen each other, she murdered him. It didn't change how he felt in this moment.

When he at last found his nerve, Tuxedo Mask's fists would tighten and his dark brows would furrow beneath his white domino mask. What was she doing here? Sailor Moon told him that she had changed, but surely it could be no coincidence that this new threat had reared its ugly head, and now here she was? He would approach her, calling out. "What are you doing here?! This is all your doing, isn't it?" Tuxedo Mask's previous fear seemed to make way for righteous fury. He could feel the anger bubbling inside him, and his brow twitched as tears welled in his eyes. He thought these days were well behind them-- that he and Usagi would at last have the happily ever after that had been robbed of them time and time again. And now, he was faced with one of his previous killers once more. Perhaps this was their destiny? Perhaps, they would never find peace. "I need answers, now!" He knew that she could destroy him, but he did not care. His crystal blues would lock with Galaxia's crimson red, a burning determination behind his eyes. With a flourish, he drew his cane and wielded it like it was the sword of Endymion. She did not have the drop on him this time; if she was here to claim him, he wouldn't go down without a fight.

Hazel colored eyes captured a solid glance with a set of dark emerald eyes gazing back in return at the one whom was passing by in a quickened pace. For the first fleeting seconds that ticked by as two sets of eyes made contact with one another. Bianca took a breath. The time frame that took less than a minute to take a breath, she could of sworn she heard the words enter into her ears:

"It's too late! We have to go!"

User Image

The girl who had held their gaze interlocked with her own, never once pursed her lips to form words. So who .. was .. it ..? That made that comment? A rush of wind brushed in between them as the hazel eyed girl was removed from the area in haste. As Bianca blinked and allowed her breath to finally escape past her lips, time seemed to speed up.

"AH!---S-Sorry! --Sorry!"

The echoing words of apologies filled her ears, as she turned her head in the direction of where the hazel eyed girl was being dragged off to.

". . .W-Wh--What just happened?" Said mostly to herself, as she tried to get ahold of reality. Her mind was swimming from whatever encounter she just had. The photographer felt warm and chilled at the sametime. Looking away from where the two girls had run off to, she glanced back to where the chaos was unwinding. "I can either stick around do some investigative work and find out what's going on here.. or I can leave." Something didn't feel right and in the back of her mind, part of her made it to where she was reluctant to leave. And yet, something urged her to depart for her safety. Instead of fighting the suggestion, she agreed and departed. Leaving this place at once.

Panicked screams of people darting past her, made the photographer stop dead in her tracks, realizing that upon taking her leave of this place. She was nowhere near the railroad tracks of the local train that she had originally transported in on. Instead, she found that she had been dragged into a parking lot instead. Thinking to herself, "So much for making my ... great escape. Way to go Bee--" Clutching onto her camera bag tightly, she couldn't help but realize she managed to catch up to the two individuals who had passed her earlier. Somehow, whether it was the hands of fate or just the fact that people were moving like a great sea wave to escape the chaos. And in the process, she was directed to them. People were still shouting and running wildly around her, as she also came to a realization once the sea of people moved away from her. She would be exposed to the two brunettes which might make them think that she... followed them! On purpose!

Which was not the case!

With her head on a swivel, the photographer surveyed the landscape before her. And in an instant, she shorthanded a hiding spot away from the escape artists and made a direct beeline straight to a hiding place. Out of sight and out of mind. At least that is what she was hoping. Crouching down close to the ground, looking like a frog readying to leap from one lily pad to the next. She made sure to steady to her breathing pattern so not to give away her position.

The door to the drivers' side was opened as the only brunette that appeared more nervous than the other and began to sink inside and let her hand hang loosely along the interior door panel. The front passenger side door was opened, but the hand that rested along the frame of the door hestated. Casting a glance back.

Afraid to move. .

Afraid to breathe. . .

"Did.. did she see me?"

The photographer stayed as still as she possibly could in the position she placed herself in. She was surrounded by large, wide and tall floral shrubbery.
Staring past her long curly, ginger rows of hair and through several leaves and purple flowers that formed a barrier between herself and the two brunettes that were obviously trying to gather their senses once more and devise of a plan to leave this place. Since the archery grounds were no longer a safe haven.

User Image

Observing as the one brunette lingered at the open door, before finally seeming to relax somewhat and take her seat inside the car. Leaving the door open in her wake; by allowing a gentle breeze to flow throughout the car and cool off the interior.

It was at that moment the photographer finally took a breath to ease the tension that had formed in along her neck and shoulders. From where she sat crouched close to the ground behind the wall of shrubbery and flowers, she came to realize that if she wanted to further investigate these two. She would have to get closer. Much closer.. than she was really comfortable in doing.

Managing movement with her flexibility she managed to creep still at the low height to approach closer towards the car. But not too close to where she could be seen. It was at that very moment, she heard a loud voice boom from the front seat of the vehicles' interior seating. Particularly along the drivers' side, since the door was left open.

"HOLY SHI------ oh my god... That was just crazy! Everything happened so fast I didn't know what to feel!"

Was that a . .? Question? An observation? Or perhaps it was a suggestion said out of anxiety and stress from the situation they managed to escape from?

"I...I can't believe what just happened! You saw the Three Lights publicly transformed too, right?! The media caught EVERYTHING!"

Even with the drivers' side door open, the loud brunette could be heard across the landscape. Due to the photographers' closeness in cover. Not everything could be heard. But when the loud brunette allowed the level of her voice to creep louder, anyone that was nearby could have eavesdropped, like she was doing presently.

When the girl appeared to look in the rearview mirror at herself, it caused the photographer to take pause. Then realized just what the girl was doing. That nagging voice in the back of the photographers' mind, reminded her that at any particular moment she was to complete an assignment. Images of people, in general doing normal activity was to be captured behind the surface of her lense. Perhaps it was perfect timing?

Or the moment as the archer, began to move beyond the threads of her robes, that the captures of pictures began. One by one picture that was taken, it was like a slow motion picture of the woman undressing captured every fluid movement from the woman. The pictures were taken quickly, to where no one would have taken notice of the capture taking place. This was not her old film camera which the shutter would have made noise. This was her digital camera that the images moved at a rapid pace to where no audible sound of each picture shot could be heard.

Honestly? At first it looked like a battle of tug-of-war as the brunette was slightly struggling at first to get off her robes. Using the reflection of the exterior mirror on the drivers' door to get an inside view with her camera, she could see into the car. Getting a really good visual of what those two girls were doing. The revelation of civilian clothing underneath the robes, as the brunette began to strip away of her archery uniform. The photographer couldn't help but feel as though she was invading their 'private moment' together.

Lowering her camera slightly down before her lips, she felt as though she was watching an old silent film in color; staring in between the leaves as two friends chattered among each other. Truly .. invading their space.

Gripping the backing of her digital camera, the photographer began to realize she was wrong in being there. Taking advantage of two people out of everyone, by taking personal pictures without permission. Just as she was about to turn away, a beam of green light flashed across the exterior mirror of the drivers' car door, which caused the photographer to glance up at the exact moment that the light was replaced with a silhouetted figure standing by the door. The drivers' door would not be able to close since the figure was standing purposely with their gloved hand resting along the door handle, "Do you have room .. for one.. more?"

Upon closer inspection, the realization dawned on the photographer then! As to WHO was standing mere feet in front of where she was located by the drivers' door to the vehicle!!

"Sailor Star Healer?!" The passenger of the car, bounded out rapidly and ran to the newcomer, wrapping her arms happily around the idol that went from.. a man to a woman before everyone!! He... she? Erm.. them? They?? Transformed NOT just before the small gathering at the archery tournament but on LIVE TV for the world!! It wasn't just the person before her... ALL THREE IDOLS transformed!!!

Uncertain WHOSE jaw was more slack jawed at the present time, at some point the camera that was lowered began to take pictures at a rapid pace of the scenery before her.

"You came back!"

Watching the brunette in a pink kimono drag and escort the one she called Sailor Star Healer around to the passenger side up front. It was obvious where this was moment was going... right?

"Come! come! Sit here!"

The brunette driver said something but whatever she muttered out was too low for the photographer to hear. Just when the moment started to get warm... the JUICY .. purple haze of light rapidly made its approach. Only to land beside the brunette in pink stood. Surprising her once the person spoke... that voice! THAT WAS THE FIRST IDOL THAT TRANSFORMED!!

' TAIKI!! '

The photographer said to herself! And EVEN in her mind, her own voice sounded LOUD!! The surprise of Taiki's arrival in a slick leather bikini, thigh high boots and straps that lined along her... his? ThEIR body!!

The photographer was definitely going to have some time to reflect on the days events and fully process the men... er women that transformed.

' Get a grip Bee... take pictures now, eavesdrop somewhat and get out of dodge before you are discovered!! ' She said to herself.

"...Has the app found something?"
"Another Starlight?! I'm so happy!" The brunette with the pink kimono embraced Taiki or whatever he called himself now? Then the girl became completely animated, wailing her arms wildly and apologizing profusely towards Taiki.

"Sorry! I---I just realized! S-Sorry! I completely invaded your personal space! I'm so sorry!"
"Well--actually I was the one who--"
"Wow! Purple?! Your attire matches your eyes just like Star Healer's! That's so cool!"

All while everyone was conversing among each other a digital camera, just kept taking shot after shot, like a flip book to animate at a later date. The photographer sat in the bushes in a little bit of shock and awe as to how close she was and how much she was learning in a short amount of time! The details the pink kimono girl pointed out was zoomed in on from time to time, taking note of the designs the two flashy attire that the idols wore.

"Wow, fascinating! You all seem to have your own design...just like..." The brunette in pink stopped talking and darted her eyes off to the side once more! Causing the breath to be held a little longer in an uncomfortable manner. Hoping that she had not been spotted among the sea of leaves and flowers.

User Image

At this point, she knew that she had overstayed her welcome. Even though.. the others were not aware of presence. Perhaps that was a good thing.

If one person is company and two is a crowd.. she got it. It was time to go. Time to depart on their little private social gathering.

Conversation struck up at this point from Taiki responding to the brunette in pink, "Heh, I guess you're right, it's not something I have thought about before. Taking notice of what we all wear so fast to notice they are different? She has amazing attention to detail...Alita... are you... okay?"
"Hm? Y-Yes! S-So why did you follow us? Are you coming too?"

"I think—WE think that would be wise,"
"But... you and Star Healer... you both are... friends again? The Three Lights won't split?"

Just as the photographer thought now was the perfect opportunity to leave. It was something that the brunette in pink said that caused her to take a moment of pause.

"You have nothing to worry about, I promise. I made a mistake; I'd take it all back if I could."

Quirking a high brow, she studied the two individuals talking outside of the car, when she heard a shifting movement from within. Taking advantage of that sound so that she could lower a knee to the ground to help prevent her body from cramping up from the position she had placed herself in a while ago.

"So...Kira? Just where did you and Alita plan to head off to--?"

"...Hey...um...Star Healer... I--...we... need to have a chat... about everything at some point when this is all over with. I... know I haven't been myself; to be honest, I only felt like I just woke up."

"Isn't that what we're... doing now? Chatting."

Craning her head to focus on the driver and front seat passenger, she couldn't help as if she was watching not just a silent film any longer but a live feed soap opera taking place.

"Honestly? I figured that you were just stressed from all that has gone on recently Kira. Attending the concert, being picked out of everyone else in the crowd by Seiya. Asked to sing before mankind and every fan known to man that showed up. I mean you were practically thrown into the skillet, which normally would have fried someone's wits. But not you, you were fantastic! And then.. I.. I mean we, meaning our ... no, no, I, Kira? Look, I... look if I made you uncomfortable at any point and time please ... I know that I overstepped with.. ahem how I approached you. I was living in the moment and not for one minute did I stop to think or consider how you would take... Wait, what?"

"My mind is clear now, but everything in the past is still blurred. I began to feel different the moment I left the stadium the night of the Three Lights concert... the last thing I really remember is passing out from the pain from when I was attacked."

'...the last thing I really remember is passing out from the pain from when I was attacked...'

"So you... are you saying that you honestly don't know what's been going on?"

"It's as if someone has pressed the 'restart button,' and.. here we are... back to the start. I have bits and pieces of my memory as Princess Nova, but I am not her because she died alone."

"That's correct. Like I said... we... we need to have a long chat."

It already felt like these people.. were already in the process of having a long chat. Especially from where she was located at.

I guess I can't, huh? But, in saying that, I have a better understanding of what things really are..."

"Let me get this straight... you have no recollection of recent events? Nothing at all?"

"Don't worry, I still vividly remember our interactions. It just felt more like a dream, you know...like...meeting an idol, falling in love with them, and everything seemed hazy. It's not now, I'm not confused anymore, and...I know now what I want to do with my life."

So much overload of information filled the gingers' mind that she sat there with an obvious overwhelming expression that no one could see. Thank God! The last conversations that she heard from the two occupants up front, left her quiet and uneasy for some odd reason. Mainly what the driver particularly talked about. ' Just who was... this Princess Nova? Who ARE these people that are dressed as Amazonian Warriors in black? What exactly was going on?!'

The gingers' thoughts were silenced at the sound of four car doors shutting closed and the vehicle being placed in reverse and driving off and out of sight. Waiting for what felt like a minute or two, the ginger photographer finally managed to waken her asleep legs, knees and feet and rose up. The flowers and leaves of the shrubbery was still hiding her from plain view of others. Which none remained. The sounds of something horrific could be heard in the distance with the booming activity that could be felt as the trees shook and ground rumbled. So many questions lingered in her mind. With her camera still in her hand, a lost expression. The photographer found herself walking silently among the frightened along the city sidewalks. Somehow managing to make her way to the train station. To the exact platform she arrived on, she stood, motionlessly. Listening to the sobs of passengers who desperately pushed the button along the walls, waiting for the trains to arrive.

User Image

While standing among the sea of distraught people, she realized that her camera was still residing within her hand. Thinking it would be wise to place the camera away in its case. Little did the photographer realize, an uninvited pink cherry blossom petal, fell into her camera case as her camera was slid into its home. Home.. was that the proper word? Standing along the platform in her own thoughts, the ginger haired girl looked up at several tv screens streaming the activity that was happening live. As well as earlier events that unfolded with the idols. How much the media did not know, nor realize that she had more information feed on the events unfolding; more first hand knowledge gained by being the fly on the wall listening to those behind the scene. And pictures captured in the moment, becoming frozen with time.

Alone she waited.

Alone she felt.

Alone in the sea of wailing cries of warriors high and frightened souls whose cries became unheard.

"That's correct." There was a baffled expression written across Star Healers' features then. Looking past the dashboard of the car, her emerald eyes sorta fixated on something in the distance before hearing Kira shift in her seating. The little action, caused Star Healer to blink her eyelids rapidly in thought before turning her head to the side to where at the exact same time, Kira had turned her head to where their eyes met.

"Like I said... we... we need to have a long chat."

Just like herself, Kira also appeared to be involved in her thoughts before body tensed. The tension could be seen along Kira's shoulders when she spoke, "Princess Nova... she didn’t have anyone special. I guess I can't, huh?"

User Image

"So ... you two are living different lives. I mean Princess Nova obviously did before.. never mind. Do you see... any similarities? Or traits that have relation to, that reminds you of her?" Because curious minds would like to know.

"I mean, you are your own self. Your own personal identity which separates you from Princess Nova. You are one of a kind, like she is... er was. The way she lived and how you live now helps shape who you are. Which separates you from Princess Nova and her past." Star Healer sat there a moment and realized for a moment she sorta sounded like Star Maker in analytical terms by trying to make heads and tails of what Kira was talking about.

User Image

The moment Star Healer heard Kira go, "huh?" she fell silent until she felt it was the right opportunity to speak again.

"But, in saying that, I have a better understanding of what things really are..."

She slightly interjected then, "Wait a minute, Kira. What do you me--?" Healer's expression twisted slightly in both confusion and concern, "Luna did what?" Did Luna awaken something in Kira? Something that triggered said events that is... no were already in motion??

"Don't worry, I still vividly remember our interactions. It just felt more like a dream, you know...like...meeting an idol, falling in love with them, and everything seemed hazy. It's not now, I'm not confused anymore, and...I know now what I want to do with my life."

Staring at Kira for what seemed like a good long hot minute before her features appeared to relax from the confused state. She still had questions. Perhaps a later time for just the two of them to speak would be best.

The car vibrated slightly which caused Star Healer to come out of her thoughts, by recognizing the sound, was that of doors behind them now being closed on Kira's ride. A good conversation ender for the road trip. Reaching up and over her right shoulder, she took a hold of her seat belt and buckled herself in. Knowing that everyone did the same at their leisure.

"So... where did you both plan to go?" Shutting her own car door, Star Healer craned her head slightly back to not just hear Star Maker reiterate a question that was stated earlier, but see that she was right behind her.

"Anywhere but here. We were planning on just... driving until we hear from Liara, to be honest. Uh...so... why are you both here anyway? Shouldn’t you be with the others helping them?"

User Image

"I'm certain that Liara would feel a hundred percent better knowing that you two are both safe and in good hands for the road trip." Star Healer added, turning her head a little more to where she could wink towards Alita with a heartfelt smile. While finishing her statement she would turn her head to look towards Kira then. The smile was mutual, between all of them, even though not a word needed to be said in response to that comment.

"They wanted to protect us,"
"Ooooh? Is that so? Well...I guess we could play some music for our little road trip?"

"That's right! They changed form! The Three Lights are—"

"Nope."

Watching Kira out of the corner of her eyes as she reached for the radio button. The blaring out of bulletin reports of their transformation in public on live tv. Something that they would have to deal with. Star Healer did not regret making the decision of transforming, she was quite certain that both Star Maker and Star Fighter was on the same page too.

"Havoc in the city center! Currently, the Sailor Senshi are fighting—speaking of which, did you see the Three Lights—"

Settling her shoulders back squarely against the seat, she knew at some point their media and management team in the music industry would no doubt say it was some new form of technology that they were trying. You know... special effects and the likes. They always seem to come up with some kind of explanation as to what happens.

"Okay, well, let's not listen to that. Silence it is,"

Feeling the car move into reverse and shift into gear as Kira pulled out onto the street, Star Healers' eyes and mind drifted in the silence in the car. It wasn't until Kira spoke up again, that she realized the quiet was nice. What was even nicer was being close to Kira. Something she felt had not happened with recent events.

"Anyways... speaking of... what were you guys thinking?! You transformed in front of a mass amount of people! How are you going to fix this? People can't know who you really are! Sheesh.."

User Image

"Our media guys always seem to come up with a plan to cover spontaneous events such as this... and besides that... anytime people we have people that we care about, that are in danger, we will take the necessary steps to do anything and everything in our power to protect them." Shifting her gaze from the distance and over towards Kira. Knowing full well that Kira couldn't safely take her eyes off the road. That would be a costly distraction. Star Healer was certain that Kira KNEW why they did it. She just wanted to hear the 'why's that they did it'.

Hearing Star Maker behind her burst out into a fit of laughter, did not help the explanation but the point was clear.

"Don't worry, that's the least of our worries and we'll figure something out, right Healer?"

"Correct you are, Maker. I for one am not worried about it. What matters is that you two are safe. That's what matters the most to the both of us."

Taking note of the occasion eye drift from Kira, when she wasn't completely focused on the road ahead. Catching the glances, as she would return her own towards Kira. A sly smile appeared along the corner of her mouth. She had thought about saying something blunt in a humorous manner. Refraining felt like a wise decision based on current events.

The sudden vacuum of air caused Star Healers' ears to react first to the sudden bubble within the car being blown out of an open window. Her emerald eyes shifted to the view before her in alert before casting a glance about the car. It was when the sensation of wind tickled the backside of her neck she realized someone in the back seat had rolled the window down. Glancing over her shoulder, her jaw fell slack when she noticed that Alita was now half in and half out of the car!! 'What in the?!' Was the first phrase that entered her mind at the sight!

"Hm?--Hey! What are you—be careful!"
"Alita! Get back in! That's dangerous!"

While both Maker and Kira shouted in alarm to Alita's adventurous venture then, all she could think of saying was, "Wild-child!" A toothy grin soon followed, as she realized what Liara saw in Alita. At least a small side, "C'mon guys, let Alita live a little. Albeit on some small adventure -- I'm sure she's tired of the sheltered life of being careful every turn of each day."

Certain that she would undoubtedly get an earful from both Maker and Kira later about her 'live a little statement' for Alita's well being.

"Alita!!"

So much for letting Alita enjoy her little adventure! It looked as though Star Maker yanked Alita back into the car in haste! The lecture that soon followed, made her frown as to how Star Maker was bawking at Alita like she was a little child that was unaware of the dangers of doing something risky like that in a vehicle moving at a quickened pace on the road.

"Why did you do that?!"
"Ali! You could’ve fallen out! Don’t do that again!"
"Sorry, sorry! I just wanted to see where the youma was, but now it's out of sight and it’s off the radar on my app."

Star Healers' eyes widened slightly. Shifting her gaze to the background by looking out of the side door rear view mirror.

"What?"
"What are you saying—"

She was enjoying the company of everyone in the car, that she actually let her guard drop. Almost completely forgetting about the danger left behind them in their wake. Ripping herself mentally at the thought of thinking that the danger was nowhere in sight. When they could have actually been followed. Emerald eyes shifted from the mirror to behind them, becoming keenly aware of their boxed in situation rolling down the road.

"KIRA! YOUMA!"

There it was.
That heavy sensation starting to set in the moment Star Maker screamed out in a yell towards the front of the car.

"HANG ON!!!"

Somehow by Kira's driving skills and quick thinking in a limited amount of time, Kira managed to swerve the car before making impact with the youma!! The car spun violently on the asphalt road, as the rubber from the tires gripped along the surface of the road. Leaving the smell of hot, burning rubber as the car came to an abrupt halt. The moment that the equilibrium returned to a normal state, the sound of Star Maker shouting lasted a millisecond!

"HEALER!!!"

She was already aware that the need to get out of the car was long past due. In an instant her seat belt along with Kira's was unbuckled in the blink of an eye. And in that same time frame, Kira was within her grasp, securely holding Kira close to her as the two of them appeared to blink out of the car in an instant and at a good distance. When Star Healer released her secure hold on Kira, she moved at lightning speed to stand before her in a protective manner, no hesitation to her actions whatsoever.

While standing before Kira as a shield, she turned towards Kira looking her quickly head to toe examination, while making sure she had an eye out for the youma. A stoic expression that was filled with worry and concern for Kira at the time, "Are you okay, Kira? Sorry that was kind of a spontaneous departure which did not give you ample amount of time to react." In the back of her mind, all she could think was ... 'So glad I made the decision to follow and make sure that Kira and Alita were going to be alright! I'm also so glad that Tai--Maker decided to come along too!'

Their actions were truly a blessing in disguise!

"Are you okay?"
Star Healer could hear Star Maker addressing Alita when Kira blurted out in fear, anxiety, anger and concern, "How on earth did it find us?!"

"It looks as if both youmas have merged into one. If that app is correct, there is no youma back at the archery stadium."

Star Healer shifted in her stance, placing Kira purposely behind her as she stared at the youma that was uncomfortably close to where they stood.

"So, it followed us?!"
"It seems so. I'll try and contact the others." As Maker moved to reach up and tap her headset, Alita finally seemed to have found her voice again.
"No..."

No? No what? She thought to herself. Seeing out of the corner of her eyes she noticed that Alita ran up to where Kira was behind her. Craning her head back more so that she would be able to hear what was said between the two of them.
"The youma... it's after you, your power. No matter where we go, it will follow us. We have to defeat it here."
"But... what?! What do you mean 'after my power?!' How does it even know?!"

Star Healer's eyes appeared to double in size upon the revelation of the youma knowing where Kira was. What made the situation worse was hearing Alita state that the youma wanted Kira's power. And knowing that wherever they went, the youma would follow.

Biting her lip hard at hearing this, she shifted her gaze over at Star Maker hearing her state, "Comms are broken, I can't reach anyone, not even Star Fighter."

"You know Star Fighter, she will never allow us to have all the fun in defeating the enemy by ourselves! You know.. bragging rights... Besides... we've got a bigger problem, Star Maker. This youma has it's own personal tracking device in homing in on Kira. No matter where she goes, it will follow her. If we had not come.. " She stopped herself from completing what she would have said next.

"They will come shortly, trust me. They will sense something is wrong, and they will come. We have to protect Kira."

"Damn right we have to protect Kira!" spoken between her gritting teeth! Her gloved hands forming fists, feeling as though they were standing on the edge of a cliff just waiting for the ground to give way.

Then ... the voice of reason spoke up, "...Take care of Kira, let's go, Healer." As Star Maker made the decision to fight and took off towards the youma, Healer was all in at that point. Trading a glance towards Alita and Kira then, just before she too bound off, she heard Kira speak the words.
"B-Becareful, Healer, please." Acknowledging Kira's words, she returned the smile to Kira. "You two," trading a look towards Alita and then back at Kira, "please be safe and stay back out of harms way."

Without a second to lose, Star Healer followed in suit after Star Maker to have her back and to help protect the ones that they care about ... and love.

Right after Star Maker threw her attack, she followed in return. The youma however seemed to anger further swatting towards Maker as she lept back away from the attack.

"Star Sensitive Inferno!!"

The youma was not pleased after getting hit not by one person but two. The creature growled in rage swatting back towards Star Healer just missing her in mere seconds as she appeared to blink from one position to the next. Moving quickly to avoid collision with the youmas' reach!

Everything that both she and Maker threw at the youma seemed hopeless, but they never stopped their assault. At some point in the battle, Star Healer noticed movement from their side joining them almost in a casually manner. It wasn't until she SAW who it was, that made her look twice!

" Alita?! " "What are you doing up he--?!" Said in confusion and panic as she turned her body to look and see where Kira was. "Where's K--?!!! What happened to her??" Seeing that Kira wasn't with them, moving backwards slightly so that she could turn around she noticed some kind of a pink dome behind them. Covering where Kira stood.

"I have to protect my Princess,"

What happened next surprised the both of them! Alita began to glow and the color surrounding her form blossomed. It was when Healer's eyes recognized a symbol along Alita's forehead did she realize that she had seen that emblem before. On a note that had been handed to her. That emblem was actually a zodiac symbol!! Alita IS a senshi warrior!

Talk about a surprise!!

The youma took advantage of their surprise and struck out! It was in that time frame that Alita's powers that emerged forth for them to see, erected up a barrier of sorts shielding them from an oncoming attack! Alita saved the Starlights from the distraction she brought to light!

Another light flashed beside Star Maker and Alita then as a voice soon followed, "ALITA!! You'll hurt yourself if you continue, STOP!!"

It was none other than Sailor Star Catcher!

Arriving at a timely intervention, moving past Star Maker to attempt to take Alita's henshin wand from within her grasp. "Let me do this!"
"Alita! You're going to die if you continue! You have to stop!"

Star Healer gasped loudly at Star Catcher yelling insistently at Alita! Especially what she just revealed about Alita needing to stop. There wasn't any further explanation given but it was more than evident that Alita would be paying a hefty price if she did not stop!

"...Die?!"

"Alita.. she's terminally ill and fragile, I don't want her using any source of power because she will die! It's too much for her body to handle! She can't transform because her body is too weak, this is too much already!"

"WHaT?!" Star Healer was certain that her voice filled with shock was washed out between what was being said between Star Maker and Star Catcher then.

"Please! Stop this Ali! The Sailor Senshi are coming now, you can rest!"
"No! I want to help! I have to protect Kira!"
"Where is she?!"
"Over there!"
"Over there!"
There was no hesitation from either Star Maker or Star Healer to respond to Star Catchers' question. Speaking at the same time they both pointed in the general direction to where Kira was located at!
"Kira!"
"You knew about this?! About Alita?!"
"It's not as simple as you think!"
"I'll explain later, I promise! Just help us defeat the youma first, please!"

Another flashing of rainbow colored lights appeared as both the inner and outer senshi arrived with Eternal Sailor Moon!

"Kira-chan?! Kira-chan!! I'll get you out!!"
"Sailor Chibi Moon! We need everyone to attack together!"
"But--Kira-chan is stuck!!"
"I put her in there! She'll be fine! Please, hurry and attack! I don't know how long I can hold this barrier up!"

A spontaneous blonde, known as Sailor Venus came charging up beside Star Catcher calling out her attack!
"Rolling Heart...VIBRATION!"

Seconds after Sailor Venus released her attack, Sailor Mars followed through with her own assault!
"Mars Celestial Fire -- SURROUND!!"

One by one, each of the sailor senshi stood together attacking the youma simultaneously knowing that at any moment Alita would not be able to hold up the barrier too much longer!

"Mercury.. Aqua Rhapsody!!"

"Chronos Typhoon!"

Star Healer turned towards Star Maker then, "Our turn! Let us combine our powers, join in and help defeat the youma!! Together!!"

With what seemed like a double twirling action, as the light within Sailor Star Healers' grasp appeared to glow brighter she too released her attack once more!

Sailor Star Fighter watched, tense and focused, as Sailor Uranus chanted her first attack. Star Fighter stepped forward, drawing her Sailor Star Yell and calling out, "Star...Serious...Laser!" Her attack threaded through the others, adding to the barrage aimed at the youma. But to her frustration, the youma seemed to absorb every single attack, as if it were no more than a passing breeze.
"Damn it!" she muttered under her breath.

As the combined efforts of the other senshi hit their target, Sailor Star Fighter noticed the youma begin to sink into the ground, retreating from their sight. The attacks had stopped, and there was a brief moment where it seemed like victory was theirs... but something felt wrong. This wasn’t the kind of disappearance she had expected. It didn’t burst into the usual tiny spectacles of defeat. No, this time it simply vanished, like some kind of transition effect.
"That was too easy..." she thought to herself, a sinking suspicion growing inside her. She couldn’t shake the feeling that this was far from the end of the battle.
Just as that thought lingered in her mind, a soft voice—Sailor Moon’s—urged everyone to look up. And then, cherry blossom petals began to fall gently from the sky. It was an odd sight. There were no cherry trees around, just barren land with a few scattered bushes here and there. Cherry blossoms were a seasonal thing; this wasn’t the time for them to be falling.
Sailor Star Fighter instinctively reached out a gloved hand, and one of the petals landed perfectly in her palm. But as she did, she noticed her fiery friend, Sailor Mars, staring at the sky with an expression that was both shocked and intense. Sailor Venus, too, seemed to match her.

Then, suddenly, a vision flooded their minds. Star Fighter couldn’t see it herself, but she could feel the panic in the voice of Venus as she reacted to whatever they were witnessing. "SAILOR LIBRA!!! Alita! She's in trouble, THEY ALL ARE!" Venus cried, her voice tinged with urgency. "We have to go, NOW!"
Sailor Star Fighter’s gaze shifted back to Sailor Mars, trying to piece together what had just happened, but before she could ask her about what she saw, Star Catcher shot off into the sky like a comet, heading straight for where Alita and Kira were. The decision was clear: they needed to leave immediately.
The Senshi grouped together, and without hesitation, Star Fighter followed suit. She didn't have time to ask Mars about her vision, but she knew she’d hear about it later.

In an instant, the Sailor Senshi gathered together and teleported. Star Fighter landed moments before the others. The scene before her came as a shock—Alita was there, and so was the youma. Running up beside Star Healer, who was mid-attack, Star Fighter asked, "The youma ended up here?!" Her gaze flicked to the giant wall barrier that had appeared, dividing them from the youma.
Noticing Alita's hands were extended out in front of her, touching the transparent wall before them, it wasn't long before Star Fighter noticed the symbol on her forehead. "That..." she whispered to herself, and then heard a continuation of Star Catcher's voice: "Alita! You're going to die if you continue! You have to stop!"

What?

Star Fighter had the same expression displayed on her visage as did Star Maker.
"Alita... she's terminally ill and fragile. I don’t want her using any source of power because she will die! It's too much for her body to handle! She can't transform because her body is too weak. This is too much already!"
"No! I want to help! I have to protect Kira!" Alita argued back. She was stubborn. Where was Kira? Star Catcher didn't see her straight away. "Where is she?!"

User Image

There was now talk about where Kira was. Star Fighter turned her upper body slightly, only to catch a glimpse of Kira, who seemed to be trapped in this half-sphere-like thing. Her eyes traveled to Sailor Mars and the rest of the group, knowing they would join up with them to help defeat this youma. Star Catcher was pleading with Alita to stop; this was so much information being thrown at them, and now to hear Alita's voice, it seemed as if her voice was getting strained, as if she had not raised it before.

"You knew about this?! About Alita?!" Star Maker asked, obviously still trying to comprehend Alita speaking, let alone having Senshi powers and NOW KNOWING she's terminally ill!
"It's not as simple as you think!" Star Catcher answered, putting her arms out slightly as her red sphere balls appeared, and that rapid spinning sound was heard as she was about to attack.
"I'll explain later, I promise! Just help us defeat the youma first, please!"
"Kira-chan?!"
"Sailor Chibi Moon! We need everyone to attack together!" Knowing how hard it was to watch Kira in there, it was to protect her without having to worry if she got caught in the attacks. "But--Kira-chan is stuck!!"
"I put her in there! She'll be fine! Please, hurry and attack! I don't know how long I can hold this barrier up!" Alita cried out, hoping everyone could hear her. Her voice was already strained from talking, let alone yelling.

Venus didn't waste any time and ran beside Star Catcher. The movement of her hands formed a heart. Without any hesitation, Sailor Venus jumped into action and chanted her 'Rolling Heart Vibration' attack.
Holding her Sailor Star Yell again, Star Fighter raised her arms and shouted to activate her attack. "Star...Serious...Laser!" aiming it at the youma. Sailor Uranus ran up beside Sailor Venus and also chanted her attack to match at the same time as the Senshi of Love.

"Space... Turbulence!" Tossing her attack towards the youma. Everyone needed to attack this youma, together.

Once they arrived where Star Healer, Star Maker, Alita and Kira were.

Sailor Saturn saw the larger youma had merged with the other phages. She ran and joined the Sailor Starlights. As she ran she summoned her Silence Glaive once again. As she did though. 'I'm going to have to use my more powerful attack if we are to have any chance of defeating the more powerful youma. I'm sorry for this Seto.' She thought to herself as she charged into battle. “You will pay for this youma!” Sailor Saturn yelled as she attacked.
"Silence Glaive Surprise!"

Now, all of the Sailor Senshi stood together. One by one, they joined each other to line up and attack the youma. "Okay! One more time!" Sailor Moon said to herself out loud.

User Image

"Starlight..Honey Moon Therapy... KISS!!"

To finish the long number of attacks, the youma was still able to absorb...

every single one

"Eh?! Why?!" Sailor Moon cried out.

User Image

She happened to gaze around her fellow senshi, but her eyes stopped at Alita. Alita narrowed her gaze at the youma, fixated on it as if she were waiting for something to happen.
"Do we attack it again?" Sailor Venus asked the group, waiting for a response from someone. The air went silent, and the youma roared loudly before its body began to light up, capturing the Sailor Senshi's attention. "s**t, it's going to attack us?!" Sailor Jupiter asked, gritting her teeth and moving her body into a defensive position, which seemed to have everyone else do the same and be on guard.

The youma cried out again, this time with an even more guttural, menacing roar. The air seemed to vibrate with its fury as its body began to glow with an intense, pulsing light. The energy radiating from it was unmistakable - the very attacks it had absorbed from the Sailor Senshi were now fueling it. The once-dominant power of their attacks now pulsed back within the creature, like an ominous warning.

As the light grew stronger, the youma seemed to absorb all the energy it could hold, its body swelling with power. For a moment, there was a heavy silence, and then, with a sudden burst of speed, the youma released that immense energy in a blinding surge. The blast shot forward, a concentrated beam of raw power, tearing through the air with the force of a storm. The blast headed straight for the lined-up Sailor Senshi, intent on wiping them out with overwhelming force.
Alita’s eyes locked onto the oncoming blast. She didn't flinch, but her expression shifted into one of steely determination. She knew the shield she’d placed in front of the group could only hold for so long - too much force, and it could shatter. The tension in the air was palpable as the blast grew closer, but Alita was resolute. She focused every ounce of her strength, knowing that her control over the shield was their only hope at this stage.

Without hesitation, Alita dug her heels into the dirt, feeling the ground beneath her feet anchor her to the earth, the attack came towards them, their hair blew behind them as they felt the force of the attack already. She pressed the palms of her hands firmly against the invisible wall of the shield, her fingers splayed wide, absorbing the shock of the incoming blast as best she could. Every inch the blast came closer, the weight of the energy pressing harder against the barrier, but Alita leaned into it, bracing her body to counter the impact.
Star Catcher stood closely beside her, hands outstretched, placing both palms on either side of Alita’s shoulders, trying to offer some additional stability. She knew how dangerous this moment was, but there was little she could do to change it.

"ALITA! STOP, PLEASE!" Star Catcher’s voice rose above the chaos, desperate and pleading, but the sounds of the blast and the monstrous roar of the youma were deafening. Even though she was shouting, her words were drowned out by the violent noise surrounding them. It was as if the world had fallen into a battle of sound, drowning out everything but the impending destruction.
The shield shuddered under the immense force, but Alita held strong. The blast hit the shield with a deafening roar, and the impact sent a shockwave through her arms, pushing her body back slightly. She gritted her teeth, straining as she pushed forward, her palms pressing harder against the shield as if willing to stay intact. The energy surged against her, pressing on the barrier with brutal force, but she refused to let it break.
Her body trembled from the effort, but her focus never wavered. Her narrowed eyes locked on the blast, every muscle in her body bracing for the moment the energy would either crush her shield or rebound off it. The weight of responsibility was crushing, but she couldn’t afford to lose focus - not when she had the people she admired most watch her.

Sailor Moon, watching Alita with awe, felt her heart race. The sheer determination on Alita’s face was unlike anything she’d ever seen before. Alita stood there, her hands the only thing keeping the group safe from certain destruction as they pressed against the shield. Sailor Moon’s breath caught in her throat as she realized what Alita was doing - facing down the full force of the youma's power with nothing but her hands and her willpower.
The youma’s attack continued its relentless journey toward the group, its energy crackling through the air with an overwhelming force. As the blast neared, it collided with the shield Alita had summoned, sending a shockwave through the air. The force of the impact was nearly enough to send her staggering backward, but she held firm, digging her heels deeper into the dirt to ground herself.

With a strained grunt, Alita gritted her teeth harder, feeling the sheer pressure of the attack pushing against her palms, which remained firmly pressed against the shield. Every muscle in her body tensed under the weight of the blast, but she held on, her focus narrowing to a single point - she couldn’t let the shield break. She could feel her energy being drained, but there was no time to falter now. The symbol on her forehead, glowing with a faint but powerful light, flared brighter as she activated her counterattack.

User Image

"Libra... Loving Mirror Barrage!" Alita forced the words out, shouting with all the strength she could summon. The strain in her voice was evident, each syllable causing her discomfort, as though the effort itself tore at her. The words broke through the heavy silence, ringing with an urgency that felt almost desperate.

At the same moment, the blast from the youma collided with the shield, sending an almost palpable vibration through the air. It hit the barrier like a heavy ball slamming into a brick wall, and in an instant, the energy ricocheted off the shield with a forceful rebound. The blast, once aimed at the Sailor Senshi, now reversed course, hurtling back toward the youma with explosive speed, it had everyone's powers combined.
The moment the blast made contact with the youma, a horrific, guttural cry erupted from the creature. The sound was deafening, but it wasn’t an attack - it was the sound of defeat, the anguished scream of the youma as it began to unravel. Its shadowy form, once solid and menacing, began to distort like an old television flickering out of focus. The edges of its body became jagged and warped, twisting in unnatural shapes, before it finally began to disintegrate into tiny, sparkling embers.
The ember-like fragments floated into the air, shimmering in the dim light before scattering like dust in the wind, a final sign of its destruction. The sound of its cry lingered for a moment, sharp and almost mournful, but it quickly faded as the youma was reduced to nothing more than fading specks of light still around them, but harmless.
Sailor Venus, Sailor Chibi Moon, and Sailor Jupiter both placed their hands over their ears, the intensity of the cry still echoing in their minds. The sound had been unbearable - like a shockwave of anguish -- and it was enough to make their heads throb, but thankfully, it didn’t last long. In the blink of an eye, the youma was gone, leaving only the glowing remnants of its defeat behind.

Alita, panting heavily, finally released her hands from the shield and the Star Wand dropped from her grip to the ground. Her arms, which had been braced against the invisible barrier with every ounce of her strength, fell to her sides, weak from the exertion. As she dropped her arms, the shield lifted, dissipating along with the one Kira had been trapped inside. Kira had been desperately hitting the dome, her strikes futile as she tried to break free, but to no avail. Now that the barrier was gone, she stopped midway, her breath catching in her throat as she looked around. Everything seemed to return to normal, and she realized with a sense of relief that she could no longer see the dome of energy that had held her prisoner.

Sighing deeply in relief but still feeling a gnawing worry, Kira didn’t hesitate. She dashed toward the group of Sailor Senshi. "ALITA!" Her voice was urgent, desperate. But to Kira, the others blurred into a swirl of colorful shapes - a rainbow of vibrant fuku reflecting their individual identities, their uniforms flashing in the light. They were there, but all Kira could focus on was Alita. Kira noticed the Star Wand that was still on the ground as she approach her and picked it up. It looked similar to her own one.

Alita, still standing, seemed to be taking deep, labored breaths. Her chest rose and fell as if she had just completed an exhausting marathon, each inhale and exhale strained and ragged. She didn’t seem to notice Kira’s approach at first, her mind still locked on the aftermath of the shield and the energy it had taken to maintain it. Her chest was tight, and she felt like she had used power that she should not have had access to, like a forbidden power.

Then, in an instant, Alita’s breath caught in her throat. She quickly brought her hands to her mouth, her face contorting in pain. Her body seemed to stiffen as she squeezed her eyes shut, as if bracing against some unbearable force that only she could feel. A choked, painful cough escaped her, and she doubled over slightly, her body trembling as she tried to stifle it.

User Image

Star Catcher, noticing the sudden shift, turned fully to face Alita. But before she could reach Alita, the young Libra warrior turned slightly toward her, her face pale and drawn. Through clenched teeth and with a hoarse voice, Alita managed to squeak out an apology to Star Catcher as she had ignored her moments ago. "I’m sorry
I'm so sorry" she whispered, her voice cracking as tears welled up in her eyes. Her hand trembled as she moved it away from her mouth just a fraction, and in that brief moment, a dark red clump of blood dripped from her hand, splattering onto the ground below.

User Image
User Image

Kira’s eyes widened in shock, her heart racing at the sight. She pushed forward, her face a mix of disbelief and deep concern. Star Catcher, too, stood frozen for a moment, her expression mirroring the same horror. The gravity of the situation sank in - Alita had given everything she had, and now her body was paying the price.
“Blood?! But why?!” Star Maker thought to herself, unsure what exactly was happening.
The archer stood there, completely shocked and worried, why was Alita internally bleeding?!

User Image

“Alita-chan?!” Sailor Moon took a step closer, but suddenly stopped. Alita probably felt terrible everyone witnessing such a horrible event, she didn’t need to be crowded.

Alita had overextended herself, and her strength was failing. Still, she fought to keep going, struggling to speak just a few more words.

It hurt, it always hurt when Alita used her voice. She had told people she couldn’t speak--because it was easier that way. She had even gone as far as learning sign language to communicate, along with using a laptop or any other device to make her words heard.
As she whispered an apology, Star Catcher immediately enveloped her in her arms, pulling her close as if to protect her from the world around them. Star Catcher’s own eyes filled with tears; the thought of losing Alita brought an overwhelming surge of panic. "Please, stop talking... save your strength..." she urged gently, her voice barely audible. "We need to get you to a hospital."
Star Maker took a step closer, still standing beside Alita as she thought to herself, "Such power... and she didn’t even transform." Her gaze briefly shifted to Kira. "No wonder the youma is after Kira. If Alita is strong enough to withstand a youma’s energy, then Kira’s power must be even greater." Her eyes returned to Alita, then to Star Catcher. "I’m coming with you."

Star Catcher’s mind was a blur of helplessness, but her arms remained firm, holding Alita as if her grip alone could shield her from the pain. She wished she could take away the suffering Alita was enduring, but she knew all too well that such things were beyond anyone’s control.
Seeing Alita's deteriorating condition, Kira turned and sprinted toward Liara’s car, which wasn’t far away. Her heart raced as she focused solely on retrieving the archery robe, which was stored in the backseat. She yanked open the car door and grabbed the robe, feeling its weight ground her. Without hesitation, she dashed back to the group, praying it would be enough to keep Alita warm.

Meanwhile, Sailor Venus and Sailor Jupiter moved closer to Sailor Moon, huddling together in quiet solidarity. They wanted to step forward, to offer help, but the situation felt too delicate and for them, they felt out of place. They hesitated, aware that crowding Kira, Star Catcher, Star Maker and Alita would only add to the tension. "Alita-chan..." Sailor Moon murmured, her heart heavy with worry.

User Image

Star Catcher held Alita tightly, doing her best to keep her steady, but the weight of exhaustion was clear. Alita’s body trembled, her legs barely holding her up. In a swift motion, Star Catcher adjusted her hold, lifting Alita slightly and cradling her in her arms with a tenderness that seemed to defy the gravity of the moment. Kira arrived back quickly, laying the robe across Alita’s lap to keep her warm. She noticed the blood on Alita’s hands and around her mouth, a deep frown crossing her face. She felt helpless, unsure of how to help.

Alita’s body gave way entirely, but Star Catcher’s arms remained strong and steady. Alita’s head dropped against Star Catcher’s chest, her eyelids fluttering closed, and her body grew limp. Despite her best efforts, Star Catcher couldn’t stop the inevitable. "Alita..." she whispered, her voice full of pain, as she held Alita even closer, hoping the warmth of her embrace might provide some comfort. Watching what seemed like Alita sleeping, Star Catcher spoke loud enough for everyone to hear her. "Alita needs medical attention immediately, we'll be at the hospital."

Kira stood silently, watching the two of them. Her heart ached at the sight of Alita in Star Catcher’s arms, lifeless and drained. She couldn’t stop the tears that welled up in her eyes. Star Catcher’s face, too, was filled with worry, her hands still gently cradling Alita, trembling from exhaustion.
Star Maker made eye contact with Star Fighter and spoke up. "I'll be in touch." She didn’t ask if it was okay, but of course, Star Fighter would understand completely. Just as Star Catcher was about to take off, Alita murmured. "Wait... Liara..." Her voice was little more than a whisper as she opened her eyes slightly.

User Image

Her heart skipped a beat. She truly thought Alita was asleep--or worse--but the young lady managed to speak, almost as if she were drawing everyone a little closer to hear her. "Kira... no, Princess... there's... something I need to tell you... please listen..." Kira was already on the verge of tears, especially after hearing her call her Princess. "Yes, anything you want, I'm here." Kira said, placing her hands on top of Alita's. "The... next Zodiac Senshi..." she whispered, feeling her eyes grow heavy. She tried to power through speaking while she was still conscious. "We passed her earlier... you have to find her..."

User Image

"W-What?" Kira questioned, speaking up again. "What do you mean we passed her?"
"When we exited the archery building... you bumped into her... remember?... you said sorry..."
The pained expression on Kira's face showed her trying to think back, attempting to block out the current situation. Kira focused as hard as she could, trying to recall the moment.
Alita stared at Kira, waiting for her to recall that moment.

Passing by strangers, trying to weave in and out as swiftly as they could, Kira pulled Alita down a small alleyway, a shortcut, and continued to run. There were fewer people, which was good - however, Kira had passed by someone who she managed to bump into, causing Kira to have a magical reaction to said person and the symbol on her forehead flickered for a few seconds, projecting an image to the young lady.

It would have been hard to make out the rest of the words the woman said, everything was distorted and this was due to the lack of Kira's controlled power.

"AH!---S-Sorry! --Sorry!" Kira quickly let out as she tugged at Alita to catch up, completely unaware of the vision she had projected to the person she had bumped into.
Alita was looking ahead, but as they passed by this young female, Alita had to take a glance back at the girl to see who Kira had shouldered into. Her hazel eyes caught a quick glance at the woman as she stood out from the rest of the crowd. There wasn't any time to stop, just a rush of people behind them trying to get out as fast as they were.

"That girl? You mean back then? She had... ginger hair? She was... holding something... uhh... a-a camera? I think?"
Alita faintly nodded. "Yes... find her..." she whispered. "Princess... the time has come..."
As she whispered that sentence, her forehead symbol faintly lit up, causing Alita to close her eyes in pain. She had to bring her hands to her mouth again as another small but violent cough escaped her, sounding like the same one from before.
"Alita, that's enough! Stop talking, please!" Star Catcher said firmly, but Alita shook her head, ignoring the request. Kira's eyes widened; it seemed Alita had coughed at the exact moment the forehead symbol appeared. Were the two actions related somehow?
"You need to go to the hospital now, Alita," Star Maker pleaded, her worry evident.
"There's... one... last thing..."
Alita slowly lifted herself slightly, raising her arm to point at Star Healer for a few seconds before lowering it again. "Star Healer... that promise... the... time is now..."
the celestial young lady said in a quiet voice, keeping her word, her promise to the Starlight.

"...Star Healer... everyone deserves a second chance... no matter the circumstances..." Taking hold of Star Healer's gloved hand, she turned it upright so she could place the yellow rose inside the palm of her gloved hand. "Second chances are rare. This will be your moment, your spotlight... this is your time to shine bright like a star." Taking Star Healer's other hand, she placed her other hand over the top of it, causing Star Healer's hands to cup the rose, protecting it from the outside world, and continued to whisper. "To make peace, to be with the ones you love... but most importantly..." She placed her left index finger on Star Healer's star-winged brooch on her chest, on the center of the star where it was raised. "To protect the ones you love, no matter what. You will get your second chance with Kira, and when that time comes, you'll know...." Gazing back into the Starlight's green emerald eyes, she placed her hand on her own chest. "I promise." She ended her whisper and took a step forward, leaning into the side of Star Healer's face that was bruised, closing her eyes, Alita peaked a gentle kiss on her cheek and held it there for a second before moving away and then smiled at Star Healer.

What was Alita referring to? Could Alita somehow see the future? Star Catcher wondered as she glanced at Star Healer, feeling the weight of Alita's presence as she closed her eyes.
As Alita began to close her eyes, she thought to herself. "I... wanted to fight alongside the Sailor Senshi... I wanted to be a part of their battle... I wanted to protect my Princess... I wanted to fight by Lady Venus' side... but I just... wasn’t strong enough..."
Opening her eyes slightly for one last moment, she saw a small, round, yellow firefly-like glow hovering in the distance, her eyes became heavy again. "...Addison...? You're... here?"

But before anyone could look to that same exact spot, the hovering light disappeared. The moment it vanished, Alita fell unconscious, sleeping peacefully in Star Catcher's arms.
Star Catcher noticed the shift in Alita’s weight and glanced at Kira, then at Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Star Healer, and Star Fighter. Scanning each of them one by one, she spoke, "We're going now. I'll be in contact." Her tone was firm and to the point. Jumping into midair, she tightly grasped Alita, and her body transformed into a small red ball of light before shooting off like a shooting star into the distance toward the city.
At the same time, Star Maker looked at Star Healer and Star Fighter, giving a nod before disappearing into a purple ball of light herself, following in the same direction.
"I’m going to visit her too," Sailor Venus said aloud, frustration evident as she wasn’t able to leave as quickly as the two Starlights.

"Oh—*!" Kira exclaimed as she watched it all happen so fast. Looking into the distance, her mind raced. "Alita... she protected me while holding up the shield against the youma...on her own..." Kira thought to herself.
As Kira was lost in thought, Sailor Moon stepped forward, placing a warm, supportive hand on her shoulder. "Kira-chan... I wanted to say---"
Before Sailor Moon could continue, Kira noticed the remnants of the youma’s presence on the ground, hearing murmurs of two individuals waking up. It was her archery teacher and Sailor Saturn’s partner, Seto. Everything seemed to return to normal. Kira looked in that direction.
"Hm?... Ah--" She stepped forward, her expression showing frustration but masking it with a faint smile as she mouthed "I’m sorry" to Sailor Moon before turning to aid her teacher.
"Mmm...?" The woman’s eyes fluttered open, using her elbow to support herself while placing a hand on her head. "What... in the world happened? Ki—Kira...?" she asked, sitting up slowly. "... Where am I?" she added, feeling disoriented.
Kira purposefully positioned herself so that her teacher’s back was facing the Sailor Senshi, hoping she wouldn’t see them standing there.
"W-well... you were attacked by a youma... but the Sailor Senshi helped defeat it. It’s gone now," Kira explained, helping her teacher to her feet. "Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"
"Sailor...Senshi? Oh, I'm not hurt anywhere...but I have a headache." The woman began to turn around, but Kira quickly caught her attention again.
"A-Ah! Um—let’s get you back to the archery tournament building and get checked out, yeah?" Kira said nonchalantly, slipping Alita’s Star Wand into her pocket and giving it a tight squeeze before releasing her grip. She placed her hand on her teacher’s shoulder, guiding her toward Liara’s red car. Before they got inside, Kira helped her teacher in and said, "I’ll be back in just a moment." Trying to act as normally as possible, she masked her emotions and jogged back to the group.

"Hey... um... I... uh... t-thank you, I have so many things I want to say, but—" As Kira began speaking, her phone buzzed with a text message.
Pulling out her phone, her expression shifted to one of focus as she read the message. "It’s from.. Liara... She said Alita has been admitted and will be in the hospital for quite a number of weeks... She doesn’t know all the details yet, but Liara asked me to bring her some things from her home—" Kira paused as she read off the list in her head. Sailor Venus stepped forward. "Can I come with you?"
Kira frowned and looked at Venus, she knew if she said yes then Star Healer would also come, and more questions from her teacher would already be enough as it was. To make it fair, Kira declined. "I... uh... don’t think you should. Um, you see...I don’t want to explain to my teacher why I’m involved with the Sailor Senshi... Why don’t you head to the hospital now, and I’ll meet you there? I just need to stop by Liara’s house on the way after I drop my teacher off." Taking a step back, Kira forced a smile, trying to put on a brave face. "Again, thank you so much. I was able to witness everything from a clearer perspective... I just... I have so many questions, and I don’t know who to ask." She glanced down at her phone again. "I’m just... really worried..."
"Kira-chan... We’re here for you. You don’t have to go through this alone anymore," Sailor Moon said softly.
"I know...and thank you, it’s just... I’m still processing everything, but right now, Alita’s health is the most important thing to me. I need to be by her side."
Sailor Moon nodded. "Of course, we’re here for you. All of us, Kira-chan. If you need anything, please tell us."
Sailor Jupiter stepped forward and added, "I know hospital food really sucks, so I’ll make something for Liara and Alita and bring it over—if that’s okay?"
Kira forced another smile and nodded. "Y-Yeah, that would really help. Thank you... I-I should get going, though."
Time was running out, and Kira needed to get back. Turning to face Star Healer, the archer opened her mouth to say something, but all she could manage was, "I-I... I... um... I’ll see you... um... t-thank you again... for coming along. Don’t worry about me, I’ll be okay from here." Bowing, Kira excused herself and turned to run back to the car.

As Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Jupiter watched Kira drive off, Sailor Moon turned to Tuxedo Mask, her expression filled with uncertainty. There was so much that had happened in such a short time.
As Kira’s car disappeared into the distance, Sailor Moon felt helpless, wanting to do something to help. "Jupiter? Can I help you bake? O-or Mars—should we make lots and lots of good luck charms? What can we do to help...? I know! Why don’t we look for the new Zodiac Senshi?!"
Sailor Chibi Moon looked at Sailor Moon, pausing, then frowned and shook her head. "Hm...I don't think so... I think that would be us interfering too much?"

Luna, having been quietly listening from a distance, waited for the teacher to leave before stepping forward. She had wanted to observe and listen in first, and now that the coast was clear, she spoke up. "Chibi Moon is right, Sailor Moon. Kira should be the one to approach her; these are her people, their Princess. This is Kira’s responsibility and duty. We should focus on helping Alita recover. Perhaps once she’s stronger, she can share the knowledge we need..."

As Venus watched the car grow smaller in the distance, she spoke. "I was the first to awaken, so perhaps fate passed down in the same way, and that's why Alita can remember everything..." she said, her voice uncertain as she looked at Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask.

Questions filled their minds, and only Alita, at this moment, could answer them.

Meanwhile, Both Star Catcher and Star Maker had de-transformed and both landed in front of the hospital, her heels touching the ground. The hospital seemed to know about Alita's condition and admitted her immediately. Liara and Taiki were both asked to wait outside her ward until further notice.

Liara sat on one of the seats outside Alita's ward, with Taiki sitting beside her. Liara had her head resting against the wall, feeling physically drained. She couldn't help but notice the occasional whispering and subtle pointing toward Taiki. Unlike usual, people seemed to avoid the pop star, likely because of the media attention, but it didn't seem to bother Taiki. "Heh...you sure get a lot of attention," Liara commented.
"Doesn't bother me," Taiki replied, dismissing everyone who wasn’t important to her. "I have more important things on my mind."
Liara glanced at Taiki for a moment, then looked back at the ceiling and let out a small snicker. "You sound like someone we both know."
The pop star looked at Liara out of the corner of her eye, almost glaring, as if about to answer back in a sarcastic tone.

A nurse emerged from the ward after attending to Alita's condition with the doctor, holding a clipboard. She addressed Liara and Taiki, "Liara? You may come in now. Alita is stable... but she's sleeping and most likely won't wake up for a while."
The two stood up together and walked into Alita's ward.

This was the first time Liara had witnessed a sight from Alita, usually, she would be so energetic and lively despite her condition... but...

... this time, Alita was laying there in such a state. It was unbearable.

Once everyone had blasted the youma with all their combined powers, Star Fighter held her attack as long as she could before stopping when the other two, Maker and Healer, could no longer continue.

Already feeling fatigued, Star Fighter glanced at the girl who seemed to possess power, despite not having transformed. How was she able to summon not just one, but two shields?
The youma had absorbed their powers again, and almost like it was recharging, it let out another mighty roar before a large beam of their own energy shot back at them.
"s**t!" Fighter muttered before moving into a defensive posture, but luckily, the youma's attack ricocheted off the shield wall and back toward it. The creature had absorbed their attacks back at the archery event, and moments earlier. Everyone's attacks had been scattered back then, but this time, it came back toward the youma in full force. Although Star Fighter was ready to strike again, there was no need.
The youma shrieked in fury as it was struck, its body contorting and stretching as though being torn apart.

It was incredible, absolutely astonishing that the shield had protected all of them. The shield Alita had summoned was incredibly powerful, but Star Fighter’s victory smile faded as she noticed the girl didn’t look well at all. Seeing Kira rush past them, urgently calling Alita’s name, raised further concern.
Alita nearly collapsed, coughing up blood, which was deeply troubling. Star Maker tried to comfort her, alongside Star Catcher and Kira.

Star Fighter exchanged a glance with Sailor Mars before taking a step forward, but Sailor Uranus positioned herself in front of Star Fighter, halting her. "Don’t overcrowd them."
There was hesitation in Uranus’s voice; she wanted to go over too, but understood the need for space. "If she’s unwell... why... did she do this to herself?" Star Fighter murmured, her eyes shifting toward Star Healer. She knew Healer might have felt something and likely understood more about Alita, judging by the concerned expression on her face.

As Star Fighter and Sailor Uranus listened to Alita’s soft mumbles, the rest of the world seemed to blur into the background. All they could do was watch as Alita deteriorated. In the corner of Star Fighter’s vision, she thought she saw something yellow hovering nearby, but it disappeared before she could focus on it. "Hm?"
Star Catcher announced she would take Alita to the hospital, prompting Fighter to glance at Maker. The weight of the situation left them both silent. Star Fighter knew that Alita would find comfort with her new friends, especially Star Maker.
Moments later, the two departed with Sailor Venus, who had also been closely connected to Alita due to their shared past lives. Star Fighter’s gaze then shifted back to Kira, who was staring up at the sky. Sailor Moon spoke up, as her words often provided comfort, softening Star Fighter’s expression. Even Sailor Uranus had been listening in.

In the distance, the two victims who had fallen to the youma’s attack began to regain consciousness, catching the attention of Star Fighter and Sailor Uranus. It didn’t take long for Kira to assist them. She helped her teacher into the car and informed the group she was taking her back to the now-ended archery event.
The red car drove off, but the heavy atmosphere lingered. "Should she be left alone...?" Sailor Uranus asked aloud.

With a hand on her hip, Star Fighter glanced at Star Healer. "Good question; I assume you’re going after her?" she asked as Fighter directed her question to Star Healer, referring to Kira. Though she already knew the answer, she wanted to check in with Star Healer. "If there’s anything I can do..." Fighter added, wanting Healer to know she had her full support in whatever decision she made.
