Fed, bathed, and freshly oiled, Lailokenth surveyed the Weyrfolk with a considering look. He would visit his mother and father in due time, but for now, he leaned a little firmly at Nemeryn's side to direct him towards the food. It made little sense to go through all the trouble of feeding him only for his rider to not partake as well. All the while, he kept a grudging eye out for one green sister in particular. Though Lailokenth had no intention of sharing easily, he had been reassured that Nemeryn would not consider the other man more important than he was.
It was simply going to take an adjustment on his line of thinking, that was all. As he silently helped himself to the array of foods lined out for everyone, he awkwardly accepted any congratulations and thanks with a curt nod of his head. Fortunately, his face made it obvious that he was still rather stunned rather than deliberately being rude. All the while, his eyes scanned the crowd, searching for Aneirin--and his green dragon, too.
