Warforged

The Warforged, a drone program that would never be fully realized. The Program was to create combat drones that had life like attributes, which would allow for the removal of living personnel from active warzones. The program had merit in being able to reduce casualties, but during the initial trials researcher could not successfully replicate the one thing living beings have, a soul, which resulted in the program being terminated by most nations. As a result, the program continued in secret, which after years successfully produce forty-eight prototypes of various designs which would each be a template for eventual mass production once funds were approved and the research material had been presented that the program had indeed succeeded. That was not meant to be, when the collapse occurred which resulted in the program falling into obscurity.
Today those prototypes sleep unaware of the world around them, hidden in research facilities, bunkers, and complexes, awaiting a day when someone with the knowledge awakens them and gives them the chance at a life that was not a part of their original directive though what that directive was would be unclear since the prototypes were not ready for the directives to be implemented into their machine soul.

Strengths
• Greater strength than that of an organic being.
• Improved sight.
• Can learn new things quickly.
Neutral
• Mobility varies between each drone.
• Pace in which they adapt to new experiences dependent on the individual drone, and the time needed to process the new experience.
• Machine Soul has the potential for being magically touched.
Weaknesses
• Electric based attacks will be quite effective if not lethal against them.
• Any damage to the physical form is permanent until repaired manually.
• Much like their organic counterparts they too can feel pain.
• Destruction of the core (where the machine soul is housed) will result in the death of the warforged.
