Olvar and Meandering Minstrel "Mea" have been graced with three beautiful pups. These little trouble makers will be raised primarily by their mother, but also by a few outside sources. Mea travelled through the Veil and into Irithyll while still pregnant, the pups will be born in Irithyll surrounded by their mother (Mea) and their extended family. Maeve, Grandmother and Svafnir, Great Uncle.

While in Irithyll the pups and their mother will be traveling with a small herd of Peryton lead by an Elder named Eowyn. And so they will have seen plenty of Irithyll before they return to Kells. Once in Kells (and possibly fully grown) they will meet their father, Olvar. He primarily resides in the Herbalist Ruins and tends to a community there. It is here they will learn what it is that he does and be taught by himself or their half-siblings.

These pups will be well loved and cared for. It is very unlikely that they would ever know a time where they aren't surrounded by family or close friends. In their adulthood they will have plenty of freedom to wander, but they would be encouraged to learn as much as they could whenever possible - about anything, though it's possible they may focus on plants.

Pictured above is the family, the names are below reading left to right:

Meandering Minstrel "Mea" - Mother - MangoMeow
Sweet Songs of Lavender - Daughter - Ctrl F Greenie
Minuet of Forest - Daughter - MangoMeow
Unnamed - Son - Unknown
Olvar - Father - Ctrl F Greenie

Note: They DO have extended family (more extended then shown here) and when the winner is chosen we would be happy to open up more about this!

Character Name: Somber Solo over Golden Fields
Personality: Good-natured, but a bit of a loner. Introverted and can come off as anti-social, but mostly he struggles to bring himself out of his shell.
Plots: He'll definitely be a wanderer once he grows up, prefering to do ecological studies on his own. I would eventually like him to break out of his shell and make a few close friends that'll encourage and empower him. He'll flit between Irithyll and Kells, and be incredibly close with his family since they are really the only ones he's comfortable around.

Plant Name: Axoriazi
Threat Level: Small
Uses: Known to attract wisps.
Description: A flower that remains in bloom in more tropical climates, but typically wilts in colder temperatures. Small, but numerous, they are not difficult to find, and a favorite of curious young pups. During night, the petals pulsate with bioluminesence and roll with the motions of a wave in a 'dance'. Wisps especially seem to be attracted by this dance, and most often the two are found in conjuction with one another.

Character Name: Timberland Refrain

Personality:
Forthright; Def. Straightforward, Honest, Sincere.
Steadfast; Def. Resolute, Dutiful, Unwavering.
Gallant; Def. Brave, Heroic, Chivalrous.

Plots:
Timerland has a dream to be a successful healer - one that creatures travel to from far and wide to ask for help. He might even take to traveling as an adult, going to places where there is need; for the wounded and the sick.

He'll travel through the veil every time it opens to go hunting for certain types of herbs and to visit friends and family in Irithyll, but his life will be lived primarily in Kells.

He'll be the romantic sort who believes in Love at First Sight and Mating for Life - I'd really like to see him lose a mate to something he couldn't diagnose or treat; something that hardens him to the world a little, makes him grow up and realize that not everything is sunshine and rainbows.

Something that makes him determined to find a cure for what killed her - maybe rabies. (Eventually - I'd like to work in a plot that Timber comes up with a cure for Rabies and/or Parvo) Maybe after they had a litter of puppies - so he has to choose to end her suffering peacefully to protect his young or risk losing them in a vain attempt to save her.

Later he might start to feel something for another wolf, but his history with love and his guilt will make him harder to break through to.

But it will never change that he loves deeply and wants to do his best for everyone in the world, maybe because of the love and attention he was born and raised into.

He wants everyone to have that kind of joy.

Magical Bonus Plot Plan!
Potion to Treat Rabies:
Silver Queen (Mugwort); treats nightmares and hangover symptoms.
Wolf’s Bane (Aconite); reduces fever, pain and is used for sedation.
Maiden Hair (Adiantum); reduces lethargy, improves memory and boosts overall health.
Turmeric; prevents DNA mutation, treats skin diseases like mange.
St. John’s Wort; treats depression, ADHD symptoms.
Skull Cap; treats rabies, madness, reduces anxiety, eases spasms, relieves epilepsy.
Ginkgo Balboa; treats cognitive disorders, dizziness, vertigo, memory loss, cerebral vascular insufficiency.

Create a plant!

Plant Name: Aishopraisel| A.K.A: Archie Root

Threat Level:
Roots: Small
Leaves: Small
Pepper Seeds: Large
Stalk Gel: Large
Thorn Fibers: Medium

Uses:
Roots: The roots are a good for of nutrition for a malnourished animal; but when dark blue they are especially hydrating and are a good treatment for heat exhaustion and dehydration.

Leaves: The leaves crushed into paste are good for topical anesthesia. If chewed, they can cause numbness in the tongue and gums; once the leaves reach maturity they curl at the ends, at this age they have a very strong scent that can be used to hide ones natural scent, so may be popular among small prey animals.

Pepper Seeds: The Arichiel pepper seeds are how the plant spreads it's genetics, how it regrows, this being the case, once the flesh of the pepper has paled from it's dark almost indigo color to a dull grey, the seeds inside are toxic and good only for planting.

When the pod is new and slim, a pale lavender before the seeds have formed, the pod can be picked and crushed and mixed with other herbs to treat conditions that affect the brain, used to fight fever and infections.

Stalk Gel: The stalk gel is highly acidic and therefore not safe to consume by it's own. If mixed with the sap from an Iliosistopia bulb it can be used to stimulate milk production in new mothers.

Thorn Fibers: The thorn itself can be used for a number of things - piercings and incisions included. The Fibers inside however have a specific use; migraine relief for Seer born males. This can have a side effect of hallucinations however, leading the males to believe they're having visions.

Description: A multi-purpose root plant that grows the Arichiel pepper, the roots are a pale aquamarine that flush a dark blue when they're flooded with nutrient rich juices. The stalk is segmented, with peel away flesh that reveals a core so dark it's almost black, inside which is a potent gel.

The pepper is a seed pod, the farther down the pepper the more potent the bean like seeds inside. The second arm opposite the pepper branch grows a number of sharp thorns and leaves - at the end of this stalk grows a long, serrated, spiked thorn.

A hard, shell like skin encases the long thorn, strong enough to pierce the thick hide of a bear, but if broken open between two rocks, reveals a fibrous network of veins inside. This particular plant grows in The Cove, between the fruit plants.

Plant Name: Elphravard| A.K.A Vard Flower

Threat Level:
Flower Heart: Large
Flower Petals: Medium
Vines: Small
Leaves: Small
Berries: Large

Uses:
Flower Heart: The heart of the flower is the most useful part - most ironically used to treat heart problems, complications - weak heart, irregular heartbeats, heart failure. If the flower has 4 petals instead of 5, the heart of the flower is toxic and can actually be used as a poison that can destroy the heart entirely.

Flower Petals: The flower petals are mostly decorative - but they are very soft and very fragrant - they are soothing for separation anxiety almost most specifically in puppies. If the petals from a 4 petaled flower are ingested they can cause symptoms similar to dysentery.

Vines: The Vines can be dried and crushed into a powder that can be applied to open wounds to help stimulate clotting and encourage tissue regeneration.

Leaves: The leaves are more of a time table to judge the health of the plant- but they are tasty, they have a citrus flavor and can ease nausea.

Berries: The Sylvard berries by themselves are toxic, but when mashed with the moss from the surface of an Amberrose Tripsolonite Mineral Deposit found along the roots of the Gem trees and Ferns that litter the floor of the Crystal Forest, the mixture can be used ease labor pains in mammals and ease egg bound bird and reptiles.

Description: The Elphravard flower has a heart at it's core where a majority of the nutrients compile, feeding into the vines that run under each fleshy colored petal - these nutrients feed into each of the single Sylvard berries at the very end of each leafy vines.

Some of these plants have 5 petals and vines, some only have four. Those with four are toxic and will prove fatal if any part of the plant is used, because the plant is missing a vital chemical compound.

The vines change color depending on the health of the plant, the petals based on the ripeness of the polyp like berries at the ends of the limbs. When the tips of the flowers reach the same fleshy tone as the berries, they have reached the height of their potential for ripeness. The leaves on the vines can indicate by color the age of the plant and how long the berries will be useful.

A skilled herbalist will recognize the declining usefulness of the berries as the blue green leaves change to varying shades of yellow and orange, closest to the berries and slowly moving down the vine to the heart of the flower - the last part of the plant to lose it's usefulness.

Plant Name: Iliosistopia| A.K.A Sap Cap

Threat Level:
Abscess: Large
Stalk: Small
Veins: Small
Cap: Small
Bulb: Medium
Sap: Large
Moss: Small

Uses:
Abscess: The cap of the Strier has a number of crepuscular abscesses filled with an inky black liquid - it's highly acidic and can eat through wood and leaves easily. When mixing it with the gel from the Archie Root stalk can make an acidic concoction so potent it can only be contained in stone bowls and it can be used for limb amputations.

Stalk: The stalk is pretty inconsequential. Separated from the Cap and it's veiny branch, it can hold all of the nutrients that the Strier will thrive on. The mushroom, allowed to thrive and grow, can reach almost two feet tall, and can provide enough nutrition to bring an adult wolf back from the brink of starvation.

Veins: The veins are surprisingly sturdy and once they're allowed to dry out, they become hollow. These hollowed out tubes can then be used for teething young, because as they absorb saliva they become plump and pliant, and will dry out again quickly. Especially popular with little ones because they're sweet.

Cap: The green brown inverted cap has an earthy smell and it has little nutritional value but can be ground up and used as a fertilizer for the growth of other herbs, esp. Archie Root.

Bulb: The bulb of this plant is soft, tender, succulent; it can be used to treat pain but it should be noted that due to its soft, meat like flesh and the sweet taste combined with the euphoric pain relief this part of the plant can be addictive to some.

Sap: The sap of the pod is the most beneficial part of the plant. It can be used to treat a number of things - crystalized and crushed and combined with the juice of the fruit from the Cove it acts as an anti-depressant, when mixed with Archie root gel it's good for nursing mothers. Mixed with the juices from the flush Archie roots and Silkwort it's effective against fever, and by itself, it's a hallucinogenic that can cause seizures in large doses.

Moss: The moss is largely used as an anti-inflammatory and can be used to treat pain from sprains, breaks, pulls, and infection. As an anti-inflammatory it's particularly useful for older animals and easing arthritis.

Description: The Iliosistopia is a Sap Pod that grows from the fungal mass "Bleak Strier"; a mushroom that thrives on the moss that only sprouts on the Amberrose Tripsolonite Mineral Deposit, a red crystal found along the roots of the Gem trees and Ferns that litter the floor of the Crystal Forest.

The plant consists of a bulb that fills with a thick, sticky, sugary honey gold sap, the crimson bulb sits nestled in an inverted green brown mushroom cap that grows on a thick stalk of braided vine line veins that grow down and curve upwards.

The veins start at the bottom of the mushroom and eventually completely encase it as the plant matures, all except for the Strier's cap. The Strier feeds off of nutrients found in the Creeping Silkwort - the bioluminescent moss covering the tripsolonite.

Character Name: Tycho Hibiscus
Personality: Curious, Neutral Good, Bookish
Plots: Likes to study everything and learn about them. Generally is a good pup. Wanting to study with their father because learning about plants is broadening horizons, though finds they are more friends than those who can actually talk to them.

Create a plant!

[To enter for this pup we are tasking you with the quest for plants! Specifically we are looking for plants that you believe may exist in Irithyll (not Kells). What would they look like? Are they edible? Are they poisonous? Where do they exist (dry/wet climate) and any other details you'd like to provide. You are welcome to even doodle a bit if you'd like! Anything is welcome.]

Plant Name: Xangha
Threat Level: Medium
Uses: Flower can be eaten to induce sleep and or made into a salve for healing.
Description: This bright plant is very similar to that of a Hibiscus plant and is usually found in warmer weather and by water. There is a stripe on each of the petals that glows and even more brightly at night, especially when there is the light of the moon. The petals can be eaten to induce sleep or be used in a salve to heal wounds. It has a very sickly sweet smell when it first blooms and draws creatures to it. Also when it blooms a dust comes out that actually causes whomever smelt it to feel sleepy. However, if too much is eaten it can cause nausea and even sometimes death. So be wary!

Character Name: Balsam Cadence
Personality: Obsessive. All he can think about is consuming information. He has large eyes and a brain even larger, and loves nothing more than exploring (first, obviously, but second is his family! Don't forget his dear mother).

Pacifistic, he tries to remain neutral in all situations. He is not stoic - he can be quite emotional, but only when the situation calls for it.
Plots: Cadence will travel far and wide in his pursuit of knowledge. I envision him never really settling down; if he ends up with a partner, that's all fine an dandy, but they must be durable and relentless, able to keep up with a wanderer's heart. Cadence will spend much time both in and outside of Irithyll, feeling his heart torn between the mystical land beyond the Veil and Kells. While he appreciates his father's practice, he does not himself intend to pursue healing. Instead, he wishes to find knowledge for knowledge's sake. He will visit all of the packs - both friendly and not - and find himself acquainted with many creatures, both of his own blood and those so unlike himself he could hardly imagine them before he'd come face to face.

I can see him dabbling in monster hunting, but finding it not to his taste. He does learn best when it's paws-on, but the ruggedness required from Kale is not compatible with who he is as a wolf, quite simply put.

Create a plant!

Plant Name: Euphystis
Threat Level: Small
Uses: Unfortunately, they're just pretty and tasty. There are no known uses for the Euphystis plant, or its flower, other than mildly quenching thirst (the plant tends to be quite well-hydrated, almost mystically so).
Description: Found in the Crystal Forest, the Euphystis plant, and its small, vividly pink, glowing flower are oft found nestled at the base of the gem trees, sometimes amongst the various breeds of ferns with which it shares the forest floor. As mentioned above, the plant remains well-hydrated regardless of "climate" (is the climate in Irithyll stagnant or everchanging? Either or, the Euphystis flowers remain a juicy treat) and is edible, and pleasantly so. They haven't been studied much, but they're one of Balsam Cadence's favorites for their simplicity and the rare fact of the way they punch above their weight when consumed - though small, they are quite sweet.

Character Name: Cayenne Harmony (named for Crazy Cayenne)
Personality: (S)Mothering, Servile, Family-oriented, Hardworking
Imagine a butler-gardener, and then give it constant anxiety and only a little bit of sass. Thrives off compliments and making others feel good.
Plots:
- Like his name suggests, Cayenne desires peace in his world, and his world consists of anything in his sight. If he sees a problem, whether there actually is one or not, he’ll try to do his best to smooth it over, even if it means throwing himself under the bus for someone. Stranger, family member, doesn’t matter. Imagine you’re having an off day and this fussy lil guy just comes over and tries to make it better faster than you can ask, “Wait, who are you again?” Depending on the rps he does try this with, Cayenne could acquire a variety of skills he’s halfway decent at that might make some eyebrows raise.

- While growing up to be an herbalist like his father, I see this pup more as a general “household cleaner” sort. Not only will he arrange flowers for aesthetics based on their flower language meanings, but he can come calling as a private doctor for minor ailments as well as help clean up dens or others with their gardens. He’s not one to be good at any one thing but instead do his earnest to do many things at once. Especially the cleaning. He’s a bit nitpicky about that. He’ll basically be the doorman to the Ruins if allowed, welcoming guests and making sure everything goes smoothly on the operations side.

- Not so much as plot as it is a quirk to note, but I imagine Cayenne Harmony talks to and sings to his plants different kinds of things. He’s of the opinion that interacting with plants encourages their growth, and being kind to them and engaging them in conversation makes them grow sweeter or better. If ever caught by an outsider he might get flustered but will die on this hill.
- However he ends up called to serve, Cayenne Harmony will rarely stray for too long from the Ruins. He’s a homebody as well as a homemaker, and he’s anxious enough when away from family. Having grown up around them, he couldn’t possibly imagine ever permanently leaving! Who will make sure all the new acolytes are set up? The masters respected, their dens kept clean? If the right someone came along, then maybe, but they would be having a lot of discussions with him about, “Why not just stay here? If you get sick, we can take care of you immediately! And I’ve told the plants all sorts of lovely things about you, and they want you to stay too, and also there are bad storms in the place you mentioned, so it’s better if we wait here and—"

- I could easily see him getting turned into someone’s rug if he meets the wrong character. Cayenne isn’t one to speak up if it’s his own troubles, unlike his vocal interventions for others. Imagine being compelled to heal a stranger who ends up forcing him to stick around for other nefarious means, and he’s too scared to get away at least for a while. Or else becomes the butler to someone who doesn’t deserve his attentions, but whom he thinks “just needs some support” to become a better person.

- Isn’t sure about having kids on his own, but does like the feeling of being around a lot of family members. Wouldn’t mind helping other couples that require a biological male so long as he can see the kids.

Create a plant!

Plant Name: (Saint) Elmeaux’s Fire – also called Wisp’s Respite. The technical name is Luminara, but Elmeaux’s Fire is more common to hear among ethereals in particular due to the story associated with it.
Threat Level: Small-Medium
Uses:
Roots (None-Small): Shrunken for a plant. Considered worthless for nutrients, a mush of St. Elmeaux’s can be used as paste around wounds that have gone septic to keep other measurements in place. The ashen composition helps leech toxins out, though not nearly as strongly as charcoal. Expect a gritty texture to stay on the poor acolyte’s tongue for a while after chewing.

Seeds: Elmeau’s Fire lacks seeds as well as pollen, reproducing asexually through an unknown process involving wisps and Irythyll’s inherent magic particles. Observers have attempted to stake out and watch the process but inevitably miss the moment of conception for one reason or another.

Stem, leaves, and vines (None): No true medical properties are ascertained from these parts of Elmeaux’s Fire. However, some have taken advantage of the plant’s flexibility to weave its lower half into belts, headbands, crowns, and more commonly as an anchor on their body to keep the lantern bulb on them. Technically edible if you need fiber, but not recommended unless you’re a peryton or something with similar digestive needs.

Bulb/Petals (Small-Medium): Of resilient make and just a little less thick than a claw, Elmeaux’s Fire bulbs are photosensitive and seem to draw in ambient light in the day to reflect at night. What’s peculiar, however, isn’t their ability to retain wisp-light, but in fact their inability to be set aflame. Ethereal born under Pyxis can host their fire within its petals for an even brighter light source for travel or emergency procedures in the middle of the night without fear of setting anything aflame. However, more devious sorts have also learned that crushing the bulb underpaw while filled with Pyxis flame can cause a spontaneous combustion that can and will unleash the fire within, albeit in a short radius. For those that owe Elmeaux a debt, the very idea feels almost sacrilege and counter to his pacifist ways.

Description: A strange plant that propagates not through pollen or seeds, but by the inherent magic in Irythyll and the light of wisps in particular who may choose to use them as shelter. Its large and characteristic bulb is usually lit with a fiery light within even sans a wisp, often becoming lanterns for those who wander in darkness. The petals consisting of the closed bulb are usually a pale, luminescent pink but can come in other equally pale colors depending on the wisp that spawns them. Petals, vines, and leaves have a velvety feel to them, with the long stem being flexible enough to be tied as rope, though often drooping slightly under the weight of the bulb. This has led to some creatures carrying their own lanterns around with them, as it seems the plant feeds off light and magic more than soil or water. Wherever wisps congregate and light is favorable, Elmeaux’s Fire is sure to grow. It’s very likely that any transplanting experiments into Kells would result in the plant withering within a few days at most unless a group of wisps and/or an ethereal actively tended to it.

The plant is nicknamed after famous ethereal physician Elmeaux whom, generations ago, catalogued a great many Irithyll plants in the hopes of spreading knowledge to others for the greater good. While not Lux-born, his skills as a healer were renown and his love for living beings awe-inspiring, and it was said that even his flames could heal the sick and purge disease without harming the patient. Legend says it was this inner, fiery light within him that first ignited the luminara and granted it fire-holding capabilities, and so the nickname of Elmeaux’s Fire stuck. Some, especially those born of lineages whom attribute their survival due to his skills, add the appendage of “Saint” in memory of his altruistic work.
*Bonus* Image: [n/a grad school deadlines are killing me, maybe later]

Plant Name: Saponacae - colloquially the Lather Lily
Threat Level: Small-Large
Uses:
Slickwater (Small-Large): As a defense mechanism against its otherwise sweet body from being eaten before pollination, the saponacae can exude an oily substance called slickwater. While sweet to the taste like the rest of the plant, it is an irritant to sensitive skin and the eyes and can even cause small burns or temporary blindness. It is far worse if ingested, with symptoms ranging from the swelling of the throat/lips/tongue to severe stomach pain, or other gastrointestinal symptoms such as repeated bloody vomiting. The only means of removing slickwater safely is through stringent washing in a moving body of water, as slickwater quickly creates bubbles (“lather”) when exposed to other liquids that quickly contaminate the surrounding area. If a patient ingests any slickwater, follow protocols as if they had swallowed poison.

As a result of all these previously unlucky individuals, however, it is also known now that slickwater is a fantastic means of cleansing objects, or even one's body if careful. The lather has some strong chemical within it that strips most things of grime, dirt, or other undesirables such as blood. Some healers have a few saponacae handy in their dens if near a river for cleaning themselves between patients. Those with pups would be wise to keep an eye on them, lest they fall prey to the sweet allure of the plant and be unaware of what they've eaten until symptoms manifest.

Petals, stem, sepal (Small): Known to be strangely sweet and sought by insects, birds, and small animals. Other than a good taste to help take more bitter medicines, these parts have no known medical properties.

Seeds (Small-Large): Unfertilized seeds eventually fall to the ground and may be eaten safely; they taste most like grapes but with a small tang. Fertilized seeds, noted by their feather wing to catch the wind or a passerby's body, already contain a measure of slickwater coating and liquid within and should be avoided.

Root/Bulb (Small): The bulb is noted to be the sweetest part of the plant, but hard to dig up out of pollination season due to the extensive system of roots each saponacae spreads. If crushed, the juice it produces can help ease anxiety. Some healers have claimed that adding a drop of slickwater to the juice makes it a numbing agent with a sweet taste, but most err on the side of caution due to the severe effects slickwater can have on a body with the wrong sensitivities. Saponacae found in rainy areas predictably yield more juice from their bulbs.
Description: No larger than the common squirrel, saponacae are fickle plants whose root systems tend to try and choke out any that seek as deeply as theirs and so will rarely if ever be found in more than two-three sibling groups, with each tiering their roots in a different layer of soil and entangling parts with one another to reinforce their hold. Their trumpet-shaped petals are a flashy violet that turns gold towards the center, which most will never see until the male's petals open for pollination season. Saponacae prefer climates with a healthy and warm rainy season but may also settle near the banks of rivers and ponds in a pinch.

Unlike other lilies, saponacae have evolved to be split into those that carry the pistil and seeds and those that carry the stamen and anther. When the pollination season happens, the saponacae with stamens/anthers don’t activate their slickwater mechanism, ultimately sacrificing their bodies to their devourers so that their pollen can attach to their bodies and travel elsewhere. When these hungry creatures eventually approach a saponacae with a pistil hoping to have the same luck, the pollen passes from their body to the flower while the unlucky animal possibly leaves with a mark of some sort from the attempt. Seeds that have been fertilized will leave the plant by means of its helicopter wing or by sticking to another animal's body in passing.

A discerning herbalist will know one subtle cue regarding the sexual dimorphism in the plant: the edges of female-carrying saponacae's petals curl inward almost protectively, while the male-carrying ones curl slightly outward as if inviting you to take a peek.
*Bonus* Image: [n/a grad school deadlines are killing me, maybe later]

Plant Name: Sleeping Willow
Threat Level: Small-Medium
Uses:
Bark/Leaves (Small): Sleeping Willow bark shavings and leaves can be used like traditional willow medicine for aches and fever. Herbalists are instructed to take from newer branches when possible and to avoid over-harvesting the same tree. It is normal to feel sleepier when ingesting these.

Honey (Small-Medium): Sleeping Willow produces about 1.5x more honey than most of its species. While this can be used for the usual remedies, what's notable is the soporific effect that's especially concentrated within this species' honey. Sleeping Willow honey can be used to induce sleep in a (dire wolf) patient with 3-4 mouthfuls, and an approximation of a medical coma can be achieved with 6 or more. Careful measurements must be taken when administering, as there are cases that have been reported in which an overdosed patient's heart slowed to a stop.
Description: Sleeping Willows grow to a height of 30'-40' like their cousins the Weeping Willows but are noticeably thicker at maturity and can be as thick as 45'. Relatively slow growers, it may take as many as 40 years to reach maturity but may live for as long as 60 years afterwards in good conditions. Their leaves are lancet-shaped and a silvery purple, which in the fall grows to an ashen gray before falling off. Cuttings (advised to be at least 2ft long) can be taken during this dormant state. Sleeping Willows prefer standing water but can be found most anywhere due to their hardy nature.

Sleeping Willows get their name from the soothing sound of wind in their leaves as well as the sleepy feeling many get when ingesting their products. Some have even taken clusters of leaves to weave as a blanket as they're rather soft to the touch, almost downy.

Thank you, everyone, for entering for our cute little boy!! heart

After deliberating over it, Greenie and I have decided to go with Krysin's entry. We'd like to welcome Somber Solo over Golden Fields to our little family, and we look forward to seeing where he'll go!

Krysin
Username: Krysin
Character Name: Somber Solo over Golden Fields
Personality: Good-natured, but a bit of a loner. Introverted and can come off as anti-social, but mostly he struggles to bring himself out of his shell.
Plots: He'll definitely be a wanderer once he grows up, prefering to do ecological studies on his own. I would eventually like him to break out of his shell and make a few close friends that'll encourage and empower him. He'll flit between Irithyll and Kells, and be incredibly close with his family since they are really the only ones he's comfortable around.
