The following days after the snake bite, Feathers had kept more to himself. He was waiting for the wound on his leg to heal. It was a painful first few days, but finally the pain began to subside. Once there was no stinging sensation when he put weight on his paw, did he finally meander out of the family den. In tow, a male crow hopped behind him. Obsidian Blue had been instructed to keep an eye on the new pack member, much to Feathers’ dismay.
“You know, I don’t need a baby sitter.” He grumbled, causing a callous laugh from the dark grow. “The bite wound on your legs says otherwise.” It was all the bird spoke as the male wolf headed towards the small water hole.
