Irithyll was nothing short of all-out astonishing. Ealhdun was sure he would never be able to forget that. Each morning when he opened his eyes to the world around him, he found himself completely at a loss for comprehension as to how a world like this could be real. And yes, it was.
Because of that, Ealhdun was determined to spend his life learning more and more about this place he called home.
Though he was young, the sandy-colored Peryton knew much about Irithyll and the creatures that lie within, but he would always hunger for more. His brain could never drink in enough knowledge.
As it stood now, Ealhdun was in the Crystal Forest, right at the base of the Broken Mountain. It was a place where he spent most of his time. Curious as he was, he loves spending time in the area from which all Ethereal stem. Not only was its history captivating, but the bright, pulsing appearance of everything surrounding was absolutely magnificent.
At current, he had his eyes trained on a rather particular flower, with purple fading into pink in its leaves, with a bright yellow center. The plant pulsed with life. Ealhdun was so focused on this, that he actively decided to ignore a loud rumbling that seemed to shake Irithyll. But it wasn't until another Peryton galloped her way past him that he took the time to look up. And my, oh my, was he glad he did.
At the bottom of the hill - just mere meters away - stood the most striking figure he had ever seen. In all his time (yes, he was young, but it was still significant!) studying the creatures of the land, never had he seen one quite like this. His head rose slowly, drinking in the sight of her, as he involuntarily started forward.
Once he realized he was approaching her, he cleared his throat to make himself known - she seemed harried and stressed enough without him surprising her, too. "Are you quite alright? I have... absolutely no idea what that was." Ealhdun shook his head seriously, and looked at the other Pery with wide eyes, partially hoping she was alright and partially hoping she needed a savior.
