tab Hello Guild Goers! It's been three years since our Easter Egg Hunt and recently, we noticed some strange stars falling from the sky! Not star shards, like before, but objects those in Galar call Wishing Stars! Scientists have found that if you gather a certain amount together in one place, something incredible happens! So it's time to head out on another hunt, and get them all before it's too late!
How to Participate:
- If you plan on participating in the event, please quote a mod and make a post in this thread, copy/pasting the format in the spoiler below.

This post will be your Wishing Star Counter (similar to how we run the Shard Bank) to put up links to any Wishing Star that your characters collect.
This event can be done once by each character, so if you would like to have multiple characters participating, that's fine, but please copy/paste the above layout per character and keep all of your information in the same post.
Collecting Wishing Stars:
- There are two ways to earn Wishing Stars! Firstly, you can post for them, as was the case with the easter event for those that participated all those years ago! Second, however, is a new system-- battle raids. This is a test system, and will be explained below, and should allow for some extra Wishing Stars to get the maximum prize, as well as hopefully help out those that are having a hard time getting those last few wishing stars posted for!
Posting For Wishing Stars
There are 56 Wishing Stars spread between the regions, 7 in each. In order to obtain a Wishing Star, a character needs to post 4 times in an area where a Wishing Star is available. Wising Stars will have their own post counter, so you don't need to worry about them interfering with any other item post counters.
Wishing Stars are located in the following areas:
- Kanto: Cerulean Cave, Power Plant, Seafoam Islands, Rock Tunnel, Lavender Town, Viridian Forest, Victory Road
Johto: Dragon's Den, Burned Tower, Tohjo Falls, Mt. Silver, Sprout Tower, Dark Cave, Ice Path
Hoenn: Fiery Path, Wheather Institute, Cave of Origin, Shoal Cave, Victory Road, Jagged Pass, Sky Pillar
Sinnoh: Fuego Ironworks, Iron Island, Ruin Maniacs Cave, Lost Tower, Great Marsh, Lake Acruity, Sendoff Spring
Unova: Celestial Tower, Challenger's Cave, Abundant Shrine, Undella Bay, Giant Chasm, Undersea Ruins [Note: You do not need Dive to go here for the duration of the event. You can RP a way for your character to access the wishing star], Lostlorn Forest
Kalos: Frost Cavern, Azure Bay, Parfum Palace, Winding Woods, Snowbelle City, Kalos Power Plant, Reflection Cave
Alola: Ruins of Life, Secluded Shore, Haina Desert, Aether Paradise, Resolution Cave, Blush Mountain, Vast Poni Canyon
Galar: Glimwood Tangle, Circhester Bay, Slumbering Weald, Galar Ruins, Motostoke Outskirts, Galar Mine, Wild Area: Rolling Fields
Battle Raids
A whole new system being tested for the first time, Battle Raids includes battling Dynamaxed pokemon! Like the games, you'll be working together to defeat these pokemon, however unlike the games (as well as our past Mystery Dungeon event), you don't need to stay for the duration of the battle! You can simply swing through (perhaps on your way between Wishing Star locations) to post once in the Raid Battle Thread to contribute to the battle, and then be on your way! When the pokemon is finally defeated, you earn your Wishing Star!
Every two weeks a new dynamax pokemon will appear, announced by a mod in the thread. You can only contribute against a dynamax battle once, however if a dynamax pokemon is still standing after the two week mark, another one will appear. You can contribute to the battle against the second one, but may still only contribute to each one once, and will receive a Wishing Star from each once they are defeated. If a dynamaxed pokemon is still standing at the end of the month mark, it will flee, but all those that contributed against it will still earn their Wishing Star. You will be quoted when a dynamax pokemon is either defeated or flees, and must link to that quote when recording your wishing star.
Each Dynamaxed pokemon will have 2100HP so that there's a good chance for many people to contribute. If this seems to be too much, or too little, we may adjust as we go forward, but remember, even if the pokemon isn't defeated, you still get your prize! So don't worry about not being able to take it out.

Traveling Accommodations:
- Worried that you won't be able to do much this event because you don't have a character with the HM Fly? Don't worry! To help facilitate those traveling by foot, we are also easing up on the travel post rules and requiring only one post to travel from one area to the next.
We are also allowing the use of Ride Pagers to allow people to surf in applicable areas without the need of an HM.
Additional Information:
- Please do not spam posts that are under the post content minimum. For those of you who aren't aware, in our rules and guidelines under the posting section we state that as a general rule of thumb, at a MINIMUM, every post should be at least 3 - 5 decently sized lines or sentences. We are normally more lenient of this rule under time constraints, but this event will NOT be tolerating the spamming of one-liners. This is NOT a competitive event. There is no race, and there is no additional prize for being the first to finish. While the event does have a limited amount of time, we are still giving about two and a half months to hunt, which should be enough time to complete the event with at least one character, and adjusted the guild travel rules for the duration of the event such that characters can travel much faster around the world such that it should accommodate everyone interested.
This event will last from May 10th to July 25th, that's a grand total of eleven weeks! Though the Wishing Star hunting event closes on the 25th, you will still be able to exchange wishing stars for prizes through August 6th so that participants can turn in their Stars when the event is wrapping up. Good luck Wishers, and happy hunting!
This event has changed to be more long-term. Once one character completes the hunt, that is it for that character.
