The mare was tired - it was late into the night and she had not slept the night prior. But still, she persisted; her work was important to her and so she did not complain or slack off. She would sleep when the stars allowed it and if they kept her awake, it was likely for a reason. Asteria tied the knot of the star chart and filed it away with the rest of the family line - a line that had grown so exponentially she had to ask the stonemasons to carve storage slots into an entire new wall of her cavern. When her work was complete, she would see about expanding her living quarters.
She collected her supplies - the star chat, the golden ink and the name on the top of the paper. Chalmecacihuilt.

Chalmecacihuilt stepped along the path to where the seer was to meet with her. Winged folded tightly against her side, the feathered of the first set acted as a shield for the more delicate looking set of flutter wings beneath. Fluffy tails brushed the ground behind her as she crept forward, almost acting to conceal her footprints as she passed by. She was a steadfast mare and though often accused of having a scowl etched into her resting features, she wasnt nearly so much the intimidating figure her body language betrayed . Beyond her scornful look rested a warmer individual. Her request of the seer had been simple, she requested a reading of her horoscope to come.
