Name: Xankin
Age: Approximately 6,000 years, even though he doesn't know, as the mists are hard to age. He hides his face with a mask of bone, so none can guess how old he is.
Race: "Mist Phantom". A rare and hardly ever seen race of beings that exists only in an existence of the soul, or a "necrotic" being. Being a phantom, he can become a mist at will, allowing his magical power to slightly intensify. But, he is weak and exposed in this form, so he requires a vessel to attach to to survive.
Gender: This could be complex, but let's assume he's male.
Hight: about 6 foot, though he finds hight irrelevant and useless.
Weight: estimated to be about 150+, though usually things like this are dense, not heavy.
Appearance: His appearance has two forms. His humanoid form is, again, generally six foot tall and fairly decently built, though that's all he allows to be seen as normal. He wears a white mask of bone in the form of a rough skull, as a face is not needed for him. He wears simple leathers, ones seen on necromatic spellcasters, as well as some druidic clothing for mild flavor. Though, being what he is, he has the tendency to begin leaking red mists from his body while casting druidic or necromatic magic. He's often quiet, preferring to record what he sees in an old book that seems to never run out of pages. When he does speak....most cannot describe his voice, which should be taken for granted.
Weapons: He carries a staff of oak, with bones inlaid and set along the wood that each hold stones for channeling magics. He can also, if he needs to, harm the very soul matter of any individual, though it has to be great desperation got it to kill someone. His main power lies in his magical ability, which can include Necromancy, harmful necrotic spells and magic, simple spells like a bolt of fire or lighting a camp fire, conjuration, soul consumption and manipulation, and sometimes going up so far as to create a great storm of fire or rain of meteors. Though, generally he prefers to mix his necromancy with his druid magics to create truly horrifying beings...
Weaknesses: His weakness is his vulnerability without a vessel, as magic can still harm him. If he dies without a vessel, it is permanent, though with a vessel he can survive by consuming the soul or waiting for the individual to be revived. Once attached, only he can detach from the select soul he chose to bond with. He also has little empathy, making his actions seem sound in nature only to anger those that oppose such actions.
Bio: Xankin is mysterious in nature, but he's even more so in his history. He doesn't remember his childhood, but he does remember that he had turned himself into this phantom like being out of the sheer power he himself had created. At first, magic was a way for him to simply survive, but soon knowledge was his sole purpose. Necromancy was simple, and he was raised and fluid with druidic arts to the point of mastery. Now, he simply seeks to create himself one of three things: the perfect vessel, the perfect army, or a place to do both...
