Today was a rest day, and for Rio and Tierboskath, that meant it was a beach day!  Not that it hadn't already been Rio's favorite way to spend a rest day (especially when certain someones were available to spend it with!), but Tierboskath was absolutely in love with the ocean.  The young blue would have been perfectly happy to spend most of his days going back and forth between bobbing around in the waves and sunning himself on the warm sand, with a snack here and there for good measure.  And a friend to play and cuddle with, of course.

At the moment, though, he and His were alone, which was perfectly fine!  What better company could there possibly be, after all?  The two had just come back out of the water, and Tierboskath was getting himself settled just so: long forelegs delicately crossed and wings spread to better catch the sun.  His regal pose was soon rather spoiled when his very salty and sandy rider flopped down and all but draped himself over him, but the blue didn't mind.  He just booped the top of his head and whuffled his hair into even more of a mess.

Kiri had always enjoyed the water, and Impressing Felisath hadn't changed that. So it was, the girl had gone for a run down the beach with Felisath trotting along. It allowed her to work off her pent up energy, relax from the worries or stresses she felt, and was a way to stay fit. Additionally, it gave her time to spend with Felisath, who served as a quiet and loving companion, as well as personal encouragement.

Ready for a swim, love? Kiri questioned.

Her run had turned into a cool-down walk as she fought to catch her breath. A bit of time in the water would do them both some good. Unfortunately, it seemed that the beach had a guest settled nicely in the warm sands. Kiri could feel Felisath slow down in their walk, even before the green did so. The brown-haired girl gave a small push of affection and encouragement at Hers instead. It's Rio and Tierboskath. We should go say hello!

The green's eyes turned less bright-blue, and a touch of yellow flecks entered instead. Must we? She quietly asked, knowing the answer even as she spoke.

"Aww, baby, they won't do anything to you. Rio's awfully friendly, and his blue has never caused you issues. It would be rude to walk right on by--besides. He already looks like he's settled so you can swim without having either nearby." She loved her green, ad if she could, she'd ensure Felisath never had to deal with any boy dragons--but unfortunately, that was near impossible as well as simply being impractical. They would need to deal with dragons of all sexes, and riders who Impressed to males. There was no getting around that, and so, Kiri tried her best to encourage Felisath. The green would never truly be comfortable with her male clutchmates, but Kiri wasn't going to be rude--and she knew Felisath wouldn't be, either.

With a large sigh, the green dragon relented though the yellow in her eyes remained. Slower this time, and more deliberately, Felisath and Kiri crawled up the batch with the water lapping at their toes. Giving a bright smile and wave, the girl called out to Rio. "Well, look what bounty the tide's dragged in today! The water nice?" She asked cheerfully.

Felisath followed, though it was clear she was giving Tierboskath a wide berth. Still, the green was not entirely rude, and knew her rider expected her to at least acknowledge them. Well met, Tierboskath. There. She'd done it. Even if she watched the blue like he might rise from his sandy wallow and attack her or Hers.

Though she might have wished otherwise, his lovely green sister was difficult to overlook, and he couldn't help but perk up a bit when he noticed her progress down the beach with Hers. But he also knew well that he and his brothers made her uncomfortable, and so he returned to mussing his rider's hair and pretended not to have seen her. Nothing here but an especially handsome blue, minding his own business! Nothing to worry about at all.

Tierboskath was pleasantly surprised when she did say hello after all, and offered a gentle wave of warmth and happiness. Good morning, sister Felisath! Have you come for a swim, or perhaps to fish?

Rio was similarly pleased to see company, and mirrored Kiri's smile and wave. "I think Tierb's scared all the fish away, but the water's fine. Perfect for a lazy day."
