"But...Warmongers..."
Heketoro couldn't help but be fearful after all that he'd heard about the pride. Yes, he'd heard their skills in healing, and he'd heard their great strength, but it did nothing but frighten him more. He was, through and through, a pacifist. He wanted to be left alone, with his feathery companion, and maybe live a long life.
However, Rhon, after a flight to goddess knows where, had heard of a pride with amazing healers. Who also happened to be full of bloodthirsty beasts.
And here he was, walking in the direction of the pride. Dry, dusty, and overall an environment that he didn't like, all on the chance he wasn't killed and could be healed to see.
"We're...close, right?"

Rashona had taken the day off from her duties of farseer, Having gone off to find a morsel she and her mate, her Warchief, could share together. It was her intent to find an otter along the riverbank, bring it home, and spend the evening afterwards alone with her beloved.
But the sweet scent of river otters wasn't what caught her nose, It was...
A chattering bird, leading a....Ancestors, she hadn't seen a hybrid in what seemed like...ages.
Standing her ground, she relaxed immediately, seeing that the young male seemed to be blind, and waited for the bird to notice her.
