With Slistalth on the mend still, and feeling in marginally better spirits, K’vos had finally allowed herself to take a meal outside her weyr to venture down to eat. It’s later than standard meal time, somewhere in afternoon after lunch. Yet she bounces Chezuri gently as she walks. Her hair’s tied back, revealing the pale face she usually hid…. Long before she lost half of her world.

Yet she’s too tired to dwell on that. It almost feels like a selfish thought -- but she’s so, very tired. Yet the equally-tired ash of warmth from Slistalth has that guilt easing, if only somewhat.

Between her and Chezuri getting ominously sick, returning to the wing -- and then only to be downed and in mortal terror her beloved bond may not pull through, K’vos was plainly, simply, tired. Socialization was less of a problem when she had a bored toddler and a need for food, so why not two tunnelsnakes, one stone?

Settling down with a plate of nibbles and a moderately durable cup of juice, she set about feeding the tot. Yet River, the frisky little blue firelizard that he was, zipped about all over with careful placement of his little claws. A great help as she herself ate, while the small tot on her knee giggled in near glee at the distractions.
