Vígdís was hunched down on the earth, the grass growing tall around her. Of course, given her pelt color, anyone who looked in her direction would be able to discern the white body amongst the browned, dead looking weeds. Thankfully she was positioned behind her target, and if she remained quiet, her sister would have no cause to glance her direction. Her rear legs tensed and rose slightly, her hips doing the shimmy in their anxious to spring. Shimmy. Pause. Shimmy. Pause... Shimmy. POUNCE.
Ví bolted at Saisana, a small grin showing her canine. It wouldn't be surprising if the lioness realized before Ví made contact that someone was charging her but there wouldn't be much time to dodge in any case. She left the ground and and aimed to tuck and roll with her sister's body, much like they used to when they were cubs.

Saisana sat stewing quietly as she gazed out over the shifting grass that edged the border of the pride and the rogue lands. She'd been out there not long ago, enjoying her Reaver status without ever giving it a second thought, and in the blink of an eye she had it taken from her and her rights pulled from under her paws. She was more than worthy to venture out there and now she had to prove herself?! If she didn't have a litter of adolescents still depending on her to be a good role model she'd have left the pride. Alas, her cubs had come at a most unfortunate time as their grandmother had been wrongfully ousted from her position was Warlord and the rights of her female cubs stripped along with her departure.
