Yǔxuě took a deep breath, the smell of the coming spring heady and wondrous. She'd never truly appreciated the seasons until they'd come to the Tianxia, to a place that didn't always have an undertone of ash and sulfur and darkness. As Neige, she'd never understood it fully, but now? Now, as Yǔxuě, she did. It had been hard, adjusting to being something other than Neige, something other than a na'artue, but with the help of her mate, she'd come out on the other side. She'd become something more, and found a spark she'd never known before.
As if it had summoned him, she caught Jiake's scent and a little smile crossed her lips. "Think of demons and they shall come. Hello, lovely."

Jiǎké had never known a peace like this. Truth be told, there was still a darkness that brewed deep in his belly, a rumbling voice that did not like the silence, but here? Here, he was simply himself. There was no pressure to be like the others, no lingering shame over his coat. Instead, there was light, and the scent of cold in the air. Slowly, his paws pulled him towards the beautiful female who'd led him here, Neige. Yǔxuě was his heart, if he were honest. He loved her so dearly.
A smile pulled on his maw, teeth sparkling slightly, "Yǔxuě." His heart lept in to his throat, his eyes softening so much, "THinking of me, were you?"
