[PRP] Let's have a feast! (Tlanextli/Thalassa)

When Tlanextli originally joined the pack she did so because she wanted to have a safe place to raise her pups. Never would she had even dreamed that she would find herself calling the place home, let a lone finding a lioness to call her partner. Now with Thalassa by her side, the two were pack leaders. It was a wild trip, but she was glad she was here.

It was midday as she set across the pack lands in search of Thalassa. She was thinking about asking Thalassa about having a small feast for the pack. Everyone worked hard day after day and Tlanextli felt like it would be worth while to have a party to encourage the hard work. The customs of the pack were still new to her and she was still getting used to everything. Before living here she hunted only for herself. Now she felt like it was important to hunt as often as she could to make sure her pack was always satisfied. She knew that most pack members felt the same.

Tlanextli headed toward a small pond, deciding to start her search there. She would get Thalassa’s thoughts on a celebration and go from there.

Thalassa felt herself settling in quite nicely into her new pride. It was different from the one she had been within, but her heart was open to new experiences. It had been a long time since she felt connected to her mates, and she had left.

She was almost disappointed that neither of them stopped her or tried to find her so far, but it was fine. It was fine. She took a deep breath to calm herself. She needed to do something to distract herself.

Perhaps she could find Tlanextli. Thala tilted her head in contemplation, weighing her options. Little did she know, her little dog companion was already looking for her!

When Tlanextli got to the area, she looked around and saw no sign of Thalassa. She wondered her hunch of where the lioness was, was wrong or if her lioness was blended in somehow. As she looked around, Tlanextli sniffed the area in hopes of catching Thala’s scent. She walked around sniffing the air until she can to an abrupt stop.

“There we go.” She said with a grin.

Without a second thought she headed in the direction she was certain she would find Thala in, not realizing the wind had effected the scents location. All she could think about was how she wanted to share her idea with Thala.

Thala searched as best as she could for her companion - she felt far more connected to Tlanextli than any other creature, she would do anything for the dog, and she was sure Tlanextli would do anything for her as well. The bond was a lot deeper than she expected. She didn't think she would find a bond as such again.

She walked along, searching for the other. Perhaps she had just missed her friend, because she was certain she was in this direction. The wind was not in her favor, so she couldn't really tell between the scents that lingered. She definitely wasn't coming from upwind, so it had to be down wind.

Hopefully, she would find her friend soon - or her friend find her!
