Siasa sat at the top of a small rise, a stone's throw from the borders of the Myrsky'syntynyt, where she'd remained for days, not quite willing to cross the border, but determined to better her understanding of the pride, as she had no inkling of a memory, or an understanding of why an entire pride would choose to embrace a culture of...thieving, slavery, and violence. She could guess at it, of course, but that felt like a cop-out.

As she was finding her stride in the mortal realm, she was realizing that her caution was largely putting her in the role of an observer, and while that often gave perspective, it also made her feel that perhaps she was missing something fundamental, as much of what she saw...she knew she was pulling on experience from before her own memory, and so could often predict what they were going to do...but she didn't understand it.

Uneasy with their proximity to the border, Amesema'uhuru kept a cautious eye on their surroundings - unlike her companion, she lacked the ability to fly, or teleport. "I hope you have a plan for if anyone shows up and is...less than thrilled by our presence." This was said softly, but with a definite grumbling tone.

Sheridan was not especially fond of these lands. He did not care for the clouds that so often darkened the sky and hid the stars, nor was he a fan of the storms and thunder that shook the lands and electrified the skies above. The starry god was most at peace when he was closer to the stars, he did not belong near the ground.

A quiet sigh, a flick of his tail, wings shimmering as a drop of rain passed through his ethereal form. Winged creatures did not belong in lands such as these, they belonged in the clear skies above, with wings free to reach the highest peaks.

Making a small hum of agreement, Siasa smiled down at Ame, fondness for the rather prickly jackal softening her expression. "I wouldn't leave you behind, regardless." she said gently. The jackal tended to be more overtly protective, having established early on that she thought that the young goddess had a lot to learn in regards to paying attention to her surroundings, but occasionally, Siasa felt a need to point out that if the worst did happen, she had no plans of abandoning her companion to their fate.

Making a face, Ame looked reluctantly pleased by Siasa's words. She'd been on her own, with no sense of purpose, until she'd come across the then-skittish goddess, shortly after she'd come to the mortal realm, and decided that seh could use a more experienced set of eyes watching out for her. "Hmmph." was all she said, although she did flick her tail lightly against the foreleg closest to her.

Quickly covering up a grin with a small cough, Siasa looked up at the sky, finding she rather liked the grey color, and the occasional drop of water that fell to the earth. She wouldn't necessarily enjoy it every day, but the air felt heavy with promise, and the air was cool, although fortunately not crossing into unpleasantly chilly (at least, not today).

Seeing a flash of...movement, high enough to be a rather indistinct shape, her eyes narrowed slightly. Was it a bird, or one of her immortal counterparts - and if the latter, was it one she'd already met, or someone less...friendly?

Paws lightly touched the ground as he landed, the earth beneath his paws barely disturbed by his movements. The draconic lion shook as if trying to fling the water from his hide. Though the water could not truly touch his ethereal form, something about the heavy humidity in the air still felt like it clung to him.

As he shook, the god suddenly flash in to view, a burst of stars and prismatic wings. As he stepped, he left no paw prints, visible yet he remained immaterial, as if one could pass a paw through his star littered form or as if he could simply fade away again at any moment.

Silver eyes narrowed as he glanced at the land around him. What a dreary, starless land this was, it was going to take weeks to dry his mane out.

Eyes narrowing in concentration at a flash of movement caught out of the corner of her eye, Ame wasn't able to prevent jumping, surprised to see another winged lion where there had been nothing but empty terrain a moment before. Backing into Siasa's foreleg, she cleared her throat, trying to draw the goddess' attention discreetly to the rather alarming (in her opinion) appearance of this new deity, appearing out of thin air.

Attention focused on the other god, herself, it wasn't until Amesema'uhuru's backtracking brought her into contact with Siasa's foreleg that she noticed her companion's...concern. It was enough to bring a small smile to her maw, temporarily supplanting her own cautious curiosity at the newcomer's appearance with amusement at how flustered the jackal was. "I see him." she said softly, her own pale green eyes flicking back in his direction, before stepping forward, putting her own body between this unknown being and the jackal that she'd come to realize she was quite fond of.

Seeing him shake, she blinked - his form almost seemed to waver, and if she looked hard enough, she swore she could see through him. Curiosity drew her a step closer before she caught herself, quickly drawing back as she strove for an appearance of dignified courtesy, inclining her head in his direction in polite greeting
