[Split Personality]

Ute was doing her normal duties. The sun was high in the sky and the sand was hot beneath her feet. She was antsy today and felt a buzz in the air... like crickets chorusing all at once. She she stopped at the crest of. A hill and stood admiring the lands she called home. Her mother and her siblings an all those she’s loved (his name was Rowtsg) all called these lands theirs. She couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.

She spotted the dark male quickly and swiftly, her muscles flexing under her white pelt. She let out a warning snarl.

“You enter the land of the Motoujamii. Fight and win and you may enter. Lose and you shall leave,”

He wasn't feeling his absolute best physically, but mentally, the black and red male was ready.

A white female greeted him. She was very pretty, striking eye markings that intimidated and made his heart skip a beat. She had muscles as well, which would make this all the more fun. Most of the females he saw in his own pride weren't this well built. This was going to be an interesting time once he fought his way in.

Alfajiri only had one duel before this, but this time. This time he was going to win.

He charged at the female, his feet finding the sand much easier to deal with now that he'd adjusted. The male twisted, wanting to ram his weight into her and knock her off her feet. He had to get the advantage.

She didn’t speak to him at all. She didn’t have the patience for it. If this male wanted in he would have to go through her. She was strong, a typical firekin female with stoutness where she needed it. She braced herself for his attack and he struck true. She was impressed-though only a little.

She retaliated, a soft growl escaping her lips. Her eyes were narrowed at this winged app one time.

She had to admit she hadn’t seen many like his pelt. There was a hand full of lions among her people who sported wing like marks...

She didn't strike back. She didn't fall over either, showing this female was a lot stronger than she looked. That was good. Alfajiri wasn't sure what she was going to do, but he was still going to attack her.

He had to prove himself to get in.

He had to be better than his dad. Vestip. The name alone fueled his rage enough to come at this female with claws out, leaping up high. He wanted to land on her back and sink claws and teeth into her pelt and neck. She did't have a mane to deal with so if he did, she'd be in a really bad way.

well he had a strength in him that suited the pride. She felt hisartack strike true and it did surprise her. She was curious to what pride he had come from. She let a deep growl escape her and she swung to retaliate but his previous attack left her a little bit stunned perhaps.

Stunned and prime for pocket sand! Perhaps not from a pocket, but Alfajiri used his paws to get sand into her eyes and then tried to shove her over one more time. If he could just get her on her side, he had a feeling this would be over. At the same time, there was no telling how this was going to go for either of them. He just prayed to whatever god out there could help him win this duel.

she really didn’t appreciate the use of sand. What he didn’t know was that she was born of the sand and it being in her eyes was nothing. Ew. She simply closed her eyes and attacked and felt her teeth meet flesh.

She bit hard to make sure he knew she didn’t need her eyes to hurt him.

She did blink the sand out of her eyes though.
