It was silly, really, the way she kept fussing over every little thing as she slipped on a different shirt again and studied it in the small mirror. It was only lunch with D’mos and L’zar it didn’t call for anything special but she wanted to make another good impression, or at least one that hadn’t been her crying tears like she had at the feast. Really she was grateful to them both, and even more so for the wonderful gift they had brought as a surprise for impressing.

The brow had nestled on her bed as he watched her pulling out clothes after clothes from the trunk she had.

”Right, right. This will work. She looked at it again before tucking the soft blue silk shirt into her browns slacks. Grabbing her knee high leather boots she slipped them on before picking up neatly wrapped packages. They were thank you gifts for them both, it wasn’t much but it was the thought that had counted or at least that was what her mother had always insisted everytime she made her give something to someone.

”Alright let’s go.” The brown leapt off the warm spot on his bed to follow after her, amused as she kept a rather fast, almost sprinting pace incase she was late.

D’mos had picked a table the farthest away from most of the riders that had congregated in the hall, away from prying ears and noise. He wasn’t entirely sure if she would start crying again, and the mess with the blue accusing them of being bullies was enough for him to deal with once he didn’t need that sort of situation again. Every minute they waited he fidgeted as the concern of causing some sort of additional stress to her weighed on his mind, maybe lunch was a terrible idea, it wasn’t as if he was use to the idea of having a sister entirely.
