Ellie found herself at the border of the Motoujamii once more, paws much more used to the desert sand than before. She wasn't giving up. She had a duel to win, somehow, and she was going to prove herself. She was a fighter, a strong lioness. She had no demon, but she was a daughter of Hakuna'jina, dammit! Taking a deep breath, she let out a roar of challenge.

"I am Lith'elen, and I come to prove my strength and fire! There! That ought to get someone's attention! She didn't change her stance, ready for a fight.

To be true, Adhain wasn't much of a fighter. His paws were better suited to the healing of others, but sometimes, he found himself simply wondering. That was why he was tracing the borders today, his paws dragging slowly through the earth as he moved around the invisible line. What surprised him was a female voice, one that raised enough to catch his attention. Blinking, he let himself pick up the pace. moving to stand before her, studying her. Something about her seemed almost familiar. Head canting aside, he let a low rumble echo through his chest, "Lith'elen. You wish to prove your strength and fire, then you shall prove it against me. I am Adhain, and I will test your flame."

With that, she lunged for him, trying to take advantage of what she hoped might be as much a surprise as it was for her. She had forgotten she couldn't lunge the same way on sand that she did on dry land.
